Dark flickering lights give my path through this high school filled with running nightmares. These things yelling, screaming for my blood as they charge for me. Stomping my way through the hallways in a fast sprint to safety. running past lockers both opened and closed. My weight making my feet hurt with each step as I keep sprinting. Breathing recklessly in a desperate struggle for survival. As I run through the second floor of this school, ahead of me is a waist high barricade blocking my path. Jumping over the barricade of school desks in the middle of the hall with a loud thump as my feet hit ground. I almost slipping from the jump, but gaining balance from my reflexes. Only to meet with a smack to the face from an open locker door. Slipping and falling on my back with a loud thump as my body meets the floor, Siding inches across the floor from the locker hit me. “DAMMIT!” yelling in pain for a moment as I put my hand to my face in an effort to ease the pain. Quickly getting my bearings from the hit as the stampede gets closer. As I look back to see the horde of undead chasing for their next meal to feast on. “Dammit!” another short breath said as I take off again to the main lobby. Opening the doors to see the lobby of the school. As I break through I see a short metal pole near the doors. Quickly. I close the two wooden doors quickly stuffing the metal pole in between the handles on the double doors. With the force of ten people slamming into the wood I push back from the force alone. The second story railing catches my weight from the push. Looking up I see that the doors was breaking faster than I thought. The wood cracking from the force of the horde slamming all at once. “Crap” I react and look over to see the first floor vacant of the undead, but the front doors were blocked by another barricade making it impossible to get free from there with this horde on my ass. Only out of impulse for my life I jump from balcony to ground floor with a roll to continue my sprint further into the school from the first. As I make it halfway through, I hear the door give out from the pressure of the horde. The chase is on again I mused to myself as made progress through the school. I quickly made my way through the hallway to see a cracked door. Without a second thought I slip in with no noise, silently closing and locking the metal door with the same finest. My body slowly slide down the down away from the window that was casting light into the room. Only moments later do I hear the stampede of the undead make its way past the room I was hiding in. A cold sweat passes from my body as I am safe for another moment. Taking long breaths to catch myself from the chase which has just pass by, closing my eyes and sighing in relief. A short lived joy. The sound of a loud cracking of bones came from the across the room near the board in front the room. My stomach dropped a few feet from my body as I hear that. Quickly to hide in the shadows in the dark, away from the eyes of the undead I was sharing this room with. I try and look to see where the sound was coming from and I saw a them. Three girls having their breakfast on two bodies of other little girls. Seeing that those girls were no longer in control didn’t make me feel any better of what I knew what was about to transpire. I look around to where I hiding from the undead to see if I could find something to protect myself from these girls. Luck would seem to favor me for the moment. A bloody baseball bat laying near me. Probably use to hold off whatever attack them, didn’t work out. A nasty thought I admit, but a truth all the same. Only problem was that when I reach for it those girls will see me and the fight will be on. I wait a little to give the horde move time to pass on before I make my move giving me the most amount of time before I make another racket. ‘Time was up’ I thought I grab the bat and ready myself for what happened next. The trio of girls stood up and looked at me with milky dead eyes, each one no taller than the other with a mixture of weird hair colors. They take no time and act, running for me with haste. I kick the chair in front of me into the trio. The purple haired one jumps on the chair attempting to leap over with a two step, but fails hitting the floor and sliding across near my feet. I quickly take advantage and cave her skull in with all my force slamming the bat down crushing her head. I almost gagged from the sight, brain matter with a pool of blood covering the floor of the classroom from her head. I catch myself only to be jumped by the red headed girl. A swift attack comes for me as I put the bat in between us holding her away my chest. The other was flanking me coming from the right side. I had to move fast she was only a second away from biting my right shoulder. Giving weight from my right arm and pushing more from my left I was able to throw the red head into the white skinned one. They connect falling on their backs as one lay on top of the other. “SUCK IT!” I shout towards them, taunting the duo. They get up on hands and feet looking at me with anger. They stand and go to both my sides slowly, they were smart syncing their attacks so I had to react to both of them at once. Making it more difficult to handle these things. I butt the head of the red one with the tip of the bat stunning her for a moment as I the white girl charges me from the right again I bring the handle to her face making her loss balance in her attack. she falls to her back slamming the ground near my feet. Not missing a heartbeat I jump in the air bring my feet together to stomp her head into the floor, ending her once and for all. “Only one left” I muse as I look to where I left the red headed one has. She was running at me only an arms reach away from a grab and a quick bite. Putting the bat in front of her again about to push her away from me. I slip backwards from the blood coating the floor and the force of the undead girl pushing toward me forcing me to fall on my back. Out of reflex, I lift my leg and push my foot into her belly kicking her off as she front flips over me. I hear a desk slam from  the impact of the girl thrown through the air. I get up quickly getting myself ready to fight her again. Only to be meet with her being implied on the feet of the desk which had gone threw two places in her body. Her lower stomach and center chest had desk legs sticking out. Walking back till I hit the wall in the shock that I had won this fight. I look at the her for a few more seconds, in shock from the gaping wounds. Seconds pass as I feel that her bow slip into my hand from sliding down my chest. It must of fallen off of her when just flipped over me. A Bright red ribbon which held up part of her long hair. A somewhat beautiful thing a miss in this world so wrong with death and pain. I put the ribbon in my back pocket for safe keeping and look toward the girl again. She was looking at me with anger, wanting me dead, or eaten. I’m assuming here, because she was still trying to reach for me after being piked on the legs of that desk. I notice she looked away from me, to her at group which was now dead. Shock covered her undead face, which confused me simply because this implies that they were caring for one another. It made sense, how they attacked me as a small unit would. Clearly not of low intellect even for an undead horror. “Only my skill saved me from becoming their next meal ticket.” I said with a level pride to my voice. I look over the dead bodies, shock of what I had done stepped in as i began to puke out from disgust as to what I had done here. Not my finest moment, but I did what I had to do. Looking back over to the girl I saw her looking at me again, but not with anger instead with shock. It rocked me to my core as I knew what was about to happen next. The red headed girl made a loud scream piercing my eardrums, and alerting others to help her. I react. Quickly getting to my feet, making my way to her as fast a I can to stop her. I bring the bat across her face hitting her, but not silencing her. I bring it down a second time hitting her jaw breaking it and the noise was reduced, but not done. The third time was the charm as I make contact with her head breaking it with the metal bat, and she became silent again. A short pause was all I was able to get after ending her. It would seem unfruitful however. The horde which had chased me earlier was making its way to the door. A small screaming of people was beginning to change into a loud haunting noise for the search for my blood. I look to the glass window on the other side of the classroom, it was a good escape as any. The noise I would have to take the chance on. I run to the window closest to me and with all the force I could muster I shatter the window into small bits. The only thing now that slowed my way out of this building was the two other girls coming to life from being feasted on earlier. “OH! COME ON!” I yell as I jump out of the window to the grass now covered in glass. I make my way to the front of the school, jogging my way there. As I make my it to the front, seeing my way was free of undead. I head to the horse statue sliding on my knees to the base of the statue. The bat rolling away to the base of the statue. I hit it with my closed fist banging on the portal which had dropped me off in this hell hole. “OPEN PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! LET ME GO BACK! LET ME BACK!” I yell for help, and hitting it more and more. Harder and harder I pound making a racket for something which wasn’t going to happen. Tears begin to roll down my face to my chin, dropping the the base of statue. “please god.... save me.... please....” a noise came from the the right of me. I look. Seeing an undead male stand above me looking at me. I fall back on my forearm and begin to crawl away from my fate. It open it’s mouth and began to make its attack to bite me, but it seemed my luck didn’t run out just yet. A loud gunshot came from behind the undead man, opening a wound on the man's forehead before falling to its knees than on it’s back. I look past the fallen undead to see my heroine with a smoking hand gun in hand slowly putting it in her belt holster. This vixen with her mix hair color of red and yellow saved me. She wore a leather jacket with thigh high boots with a bright yellow line going up them. Looking at me she yell “HURRY! COME WITH ME IF YOU WANT TO LIVE!” Like I was thinking of staying here for another moment. I ran to her follow where she was leading me. We ran from the school away, out of the way for the undead. We ran for a few minutes to back streets away from the school under the golden treeline. She took me to her motorbike. “Get on and hold on to me tightly.” I nod as I got on her bike and with a short start up, we were off heading to where ever she was taking me. I suppose it could only get better from here, I hope.
