The Pit
Journal
Load Full StoryDay 4: I really didn't think I’d be down here this long, Glory should have found me by now, trapped in this hole, but I guess he already left. I have not much food or water left on me, only the little bit I brought for the week we were stating in the old castle.
Day 7: A week in this hole, I fear for my sanity, as I only see darkness, but I have learned to see using my hands. I know every indent, scratch and rock in this little hole. There is a hole, large enough to put my leg through, but there is nothing on the other side, and it lets through no light. I have spared me water, so I have a few more days’ worth at least, but only enough food for today. I am quite hungry now, so I guess now is a good a time as any…..
Day 13: I've just run out of water, drank the last bit just now, so I don't know how much longer I have. I ran out of ink, which is why this entry is in red, as I only have my own blood to write with, and chances are, I won’t need it much longer.
Day 16: I can feel it, the death coming soon. I can no longer raise my head, and I’m using the last bit of life and energy I have to write this. If anyone is to find this, I’m sorry. Take the stone I have sharpened and bring a swift death upon yourself as to not go through the suffering I have been through. The images, the sounds, I’m not sure what is real anymore. Sweeping Pride, signing off, forever.
Many years later, in this castle, six young ponies and a young dragon ventured into this castle, seeking the knowledge, art, and adventure it brings to those ponies. I s watch in amusement as they wander the castle, clueless to its history. I see two of them fall, right into the same pit I was in. I close my eyes and weep sadly, sorry for the two poor souls.
