If by chance you are reading this, my journal, and don't know who I am, well, I should probably tell you to stop reading but for all I know, the world has ended, and you found this in some ancient ruined castle somewhere. In which case, I will introduce myself.
I am Mi Amore Cadenza, Equestria's first male Alicorn princess. Well, in training. You might be thinking that's impossible, since you've never heard of me. Well, the truth is, Celestia's had students like me before. There have been several mares she was secretly training to be princesses under the guise of them being her personal, most faithful student, or something to that effect. Often, they didn't even know it themselves. And I'm definitely the first to already be an Alicorn.
But I digress. Point is, I'm not exactly normal, nor entirely unique. Why do I tell you this? Well, I'm going to high school. And nobody is going to know who I am.
Why? Because Celestia thought it important I be allowed to live a normal life. How? I'll wear clothes to hide my wings. And when? Today.
And, well, that's why I'm writing a journal. This is the first time in, I think maybe a decade even, that I'm going to be in a regular school. Not some upper-class charter school, not home schooled, just a regular school. And I wanted to keep a record of my experiences.
So, writing after school for the first time, and frankly, I don't know what to think. It's probably best I tell you what happened.
Before I left for school, Celestia was acting as if I was fragile as glass. She kept asking me if I had my books or my pencils or my erasers, and when I said yes, she would look through my saddlebags anyway just to be sure. It was funny in a way, to see the great and wise Princess Celestia herself acting like an overbearing mother.
My time in school itself was... Less than good. As you can imagine, being the shy, pink-colored dork sitting in the corner did not earn me much respect from my peers.
After home room, I went to my locker to store some of my many pencils in it. But as soon as I reached, I was tackled and pinned to the wall by a large purple bulky stallion with a yellow mane who was dressed in a jersey, likely from being on a sports team.
"Hey dork! Welcome to school!" He said, in mock happiness.
"Let go of me!"
"Aw, but we're going to have so much fun together!" He pulled out a marker and took off the cap. "Here, this can be a special sign to let everypony know just who you are!" He started writing on my face. Given how much I was struggling, it wasn't exactly fine penmanship.
