‘Sick’ Day

By Luna Dash

There was a group, a group of ponies. The ponies were amazing at flying; these ponies were called Spitfire, Soarin’ and Fleetfoot. Many ponies watched from the ground, from their homes and from the clouds, they watched and shouted as the flying Pegasus did their tricks and amazed all the little ponies.

One week the Princesses came to watch the Wonderbolts. “Come now, you lazy ponies!” Luna laughed shoving the large, white alicorn into a nearby cloud. “Come on! I decide to do something fun! Then all you do is be lazy ponies and stop in your beds for three hours!”

Celestia stood and took a careful look at the ponies what stood in front of her, “You look familiar,” Celestia exclaimed looking at one of the ponies.

“Why your majesty, how do I? Have you seen me in Canterlot or Ponyville? Where may I ask?” the pony replied in great honour to be speaking to a real-life princess. The pony was green. He had red hair and for his cutie-mark a sweet. “Just to let you know, my name is….” The green pony stopped, Celestia had gone. He growled, and then returned back to the crowd.

Celestia, Cadence and Luna all sat down on three large thrones, what had been put there by a certain green pony….

“Spitfires in the lead, no wait! Maybe it’s Fleetfoot! Wait! NO! Spitfire is in the lead once again! Fleetfoot is at the back!” the announcer shouted. Fleetfoot looked at her friends, ‘Beaten? ME! Never! This time Spitfire will NOT WIN!’ Fleetfoot thought.

Celestia looked sad. “Why whatever is the matter dear sister?” Luna screamed taking a careful look at Celestia. “Tia?”

Celestia groaned then, flopped down onto the arm of the throne. ‘That’s not how a princess behaves! Maybe I should be princess!’ Cadence thought.

Luna looked worried. She called for help. Nobody came. Then slowly a chef walked in. “Here’s your ice-cream sundae, with cherries, honey and chocolate chips….. Is Princess Celestia ok?” he asked worriedly.

“No! I-I don’t know what’s wrong with her!” Luna screamed dreadfully.

“Oh, no! Dead princess!” Cadence laughed. Luna scowled at Cadence. Cadence backed away then flew off in shame…..

Celestia was laid in a hospital bed. Her heart was beating rapidly. “Dear me,” Nurse Redheart said. “It seems, you are pregnant,”

Celestia blushed, now everypony knew her secret. “Tia? You were having a foal and didn’t tell me?” Luna sobbed.

“I… Luna! I didn’t know I was having a foal. I mean I hung out with a stallion, well when I say ‘hung out’ I mean slept with! He was handsome. Then I didn’t know this would happen!” Celestia replied.

“So, who is this lucky stallion?” Luna sniggered.

“Blue Print,” Celestia grinned. “He is like a light blue with a white and blue mane and tail,”

“Are you talking about THE Blue Print?” Luna snorted, Celestia replied with a simple nod. “You slept with MY coltfriend and he agreed?”

“Well he didn’t exactly agree, he told me he had fancied me all his life. I was the mare of his dreams?” Celestia muttered.

Luna grunted and trotted out of the room. She flew across the skies trying to hide the tears rolling down her cheeks. Finally she came to a stop. She flew down to the Castle Gardens; she knew she would get some peace there.

She continued sobbing, “I thought he loved me!? He said I was the prettiest mare and if he went with any other mare he would regret it!”

A tall blue stallion walked over, “Why Luna? Whatever is the matter?” Blue Print questioned.

“YOU!” Luna neighed. Blue Print stepped backwards. “I thought you said I was the mare of your dreams?” Luna screamed. Blue Print agreed.

“Luna?” he asked softly.

“You got Celestia pregnant,” Luna cried.
