Well almost a certain library was in ruins and certain castle had appeared. But other than that all was well. Equestria was in balance once again. Pinkie Pie happily trotted up the stairs to Twilight's castle and into the throne room where Apple Jack and Rarity were fighting once again. Pinkie walked further in where she heard what they were fighting about this time. "Ah am nawt puttin flowers on meh throne!" Apple Jack said stomping her hooves on the castles stone floor in annoyance. "But darling the thrones will look odd if they don't all have flowers on them!" rarity argued motioning to the thrones that lay in front of them. Knowing the argument wouldn't end well Pinkie bounced in the middle of them and clapped her hooves twice. "well flowers are nice but maybe we could do something a little more...... countryish." Apple jack nodded in agreement and motioned towards the thrones "Think ya could make it work?" Rarity narrowed her eyes in the throne before widening her eyes. "OOH idea! Apple jack come with me I absolutely must put this in my sketchbook! Apple Jack fell in step behind Rarity as they walked out of the throne room while Rarity went on and on about her design idea. Feeling there was nothing to do pinkie pie remembered she had to go visit Zecora for the special sprinkles Pinkie had asked her to make. she trotted out the castle doors and through the town waving at any pony she happened to come across. Pinkie took a deep breath and walked into the Ever Free forest. While it was still light out pinkie took caution as she walked to the forest. It was very dangerous at all time so she made her way with caution but managed to arrive at Zecoras at no time. Pinkie burst through the door and caused Zecora to drop a few unwanted bottles into the potion she was mixing. "Hey Zec- oops" Pinkie said shyly when she noticed what she had done. Zecora smiled and said "Thats quite all right my little pony. I have not seen you for a few nights." Pinkie materialized a chair and sat on it. "Yea sorry bout that had some important things to deal with back at twilights castle. "That's quite all right we all have busy nights." Zecora said pulling out the bottle of sprinkles Pinkie had asked for. Pinkie stood and said "Oh thanks Zecora! I really appreciate you making them for me!" "Your quite welcome but I fear to say I hear the night creatures coming out for pray." Pinkie tilted her head to the door and heard the timber wolves howling. "Oh well I might want to get going wouldn't want to crash into them." "Be careful on your way out for these creatures head south." Zecora warned. "They are not as kind and you and I." "Got it! See ya Zecora!" Pinkie said before trotting out. I better be careful. Pinkie thought, I wouldn't want to find myself with a pack of timber wolves. She trotted through the woods a look of worry crossing her face as she heard more noises and saw more shadows. It was dark and with the trees blocking out the rising moon it grew darker in the forest. She trotted faster almost breaking into a run but careful not to make to much noise and attract unwanted attention from predators. She slowed to a walking pace and kept walking through the noises and shadows growing faint. She was almost to the clearing that separated pony ville from the forest when she heard crying. She froze in her tracks and turned to the sound. She cautiously made her way to the noise and saw that the timber wolves had cornered something in a tree. Gulping Pinkie made her way to the tree determined to save whatever was stuck in the tree. She made her way to the tree quietly hoping to grab what was in the tree and run before the timber wolves could reach her. However with her eyes focused on the tree she stepped on a twig and the timber wolves immediately turned their head to where she was. She held her breath as the timber wolves caught sight of her. They growled and slowly made their was to where she was. Pinkie cowered before remembering what she was trying to do. She stood tall and glared at the wolves daring them to do anything. Her mane slowly deflated turning her into Pinkamena and the wolves lowered their ears in fear. While they had probably never seen Pinkie before Pinkamena was a force to be reckoned with. The wolves however shook their heads and lurched closer to Pinkie. Pinkie closed her eyes expecting to feel a bite but instead heard a snap and opened her eyes quickly. She looked where the timberwolves were and instead saw oranges. Confused she looked to the tree where what was in a hole in the tree cowered deeper in, Pinkie figured it was a unicorn but a unicorn would have to be very talented to pull off that type of magic. "Hello?" Pinkie asked cautiously knocking on the tree. There was a gasp and moving as whatever was in the tree tried to hide. "I won't hurt you I promise." Slowly the figure in the tree climbed out of the hole and into the branch that was next to it. It hopped down from the tree and landed in front of her. Pinkies eyes focused on the figure and gasped. Staring back at her was a foal draconaquus. //-------------------------------------------------------// keeping chaos //-------------------------------------------------------// keeping chaos The draconaquus stared up at pinkie who's mouth was still open in shock. He cowered back from the shocked look who was getting and was trying to climb back into the whole in the tree. Pinkie snapped her mouth shut as she realized what he was trying to do. "Hey it's ok I just.... Haven't seen anything like you in a while." Pinkie said reaching her hooves forward to the draconaquus. He flinched at her touch but stopped after he saw she meant no harm. "Do ya have a name?" He shook his head signaling no. "Oh can you talk?" He opened his mouth and shut it. "Y-yes." "Hooh good I can only remember how horrible it was not being able to talk." She said shuddering at the memory. He smiled and inched towards pinkie feeling better. Pinkie smiled and said "well it's awfully dangerous her would you mind maybe coming home with me?" "H-home?" The draconaquus asked in confusion. "What's that?" Pinkie laughed and said "it's where some pony lives." "O-oh well I guess...." He said. "But I'm really tired those things kept me in that tree for a while." "That's ok I'll Cary you!" Pinkie said picking him up and plopping him on her back. He nuzzled up onto her back and almost immediately fell into a deep sleep. She smiled and walked through town trying to avoid any pony that happened to walk by. While she was happy and oblivious Pinkie knew that a baby draconaquus was NOT a common thing to have sleeping on your back. She tiptoed up the stairs into her room where she knew she wouldn't be disturbed. She nudged the sleeping draconaquus who awoke in a shock and surveyed the room. "We'll this is my room make your self at home!" Pinkie exclaimed. He jumped of her back and yelped in pain as his lion paw made contact with the hard wood floor. "Are you ok?!?" Pinkie asked quickly lifting him of the floor. "T-those wolf things one bit my paw." Pinkie examined his paw and set him carefully on her bed. "Well he but hard but it's nothing some bandages won't take care of." She materialized some bandages out to his delight and wrapped them around his paw. He giggled as the cloth tickled him. "I see your ticklish.... Umm we need a name for you." He stared at her unsure of what to say. "Ok how about John?" He shook his head at the horrible name. "Hmmmm ok how about jack? Red maple? Quincy? David?" He continued to shake his head. "Hmmm how about..." Pinkie said flipping through a dictionary. "Snarl?" He nodded excitedly finally liking the name she suggested. "Umm ms.pony?" Pinkie giggled and said "ms.pony that sounds funny! My name is actually pinkie pie or pinkie for short." "Ok Pinkie?" "Yes?" "Um I'm still tired." "Oh right! You poor thing you must be exhausted! Lets get you a bed!" Pinkie said pulling out a foal sized bed from what seemed like nowhere. She turned around to find snarl curled up on a cotton candy cloud above her bed. She smiled before climbing into bed and falling asleep. ____________________________ Pinkie pie awoke to crying and looked up to see snarl crying on his cotton candy cloud. She pulled her self on the small cloud and pulled snarl close. "Hey what's wrong?" "You *sniff* probably *sniff* want me gone now." Snarl said wiping tears from his eyes. Pinkie giggled and said "no silly billy I want you here!" "Y-you mean it?" "Of course I do!" Pinkie said throwing her hooves up into the air. Snarl laughed and hugged pinkie. Pinkie with no hesitation hugged back until his errr horn thing pressed into her stomach. Snarl pulled away smiling. "Are you hungry?" Pinkie asked. Snarl shook his head "I ate a cotton candy cloud." Pinkie laughed. Snarl stared awkwardly at pinkie unsure of what to do. "Ms. Pie?" "Yes..." "Can I make a cotton candy castle?" Pinkie eyes widened to the size of plates and drooled at the thought of a giant cotton candy castle. "Please." "Please?" "Please make one." "Ok?" Snarl concentrated on his cotton candy bed and tried to turn it ini a castle. But after being trapped in a tree his powers were exhausted and he collapsed into a ball. "Snarl are you ok?" Pinkie asked no longer thinking of the cotton candy castle and instead focusing on snarl who was panting in exhaustion. "I-I guess just r-really tired." Snarl said getting on his feet. Or whatever he has.... Pinkie tapped her hoof against her chin in thought. She wasn't sure of what to do with him. The only other draconaquus is discord and he was traveling equestria with a crowd of griffins for some reason... But she couldn't keep him a secret forever she had to show some pony. She puzzled it through her head deciding who to take him to. She loved Rainbow dash to pieces but she would overreact same with Apple jack. Twilight would demand to take him to celestia and luna and she didn't really want to get them involved. Rarity was never too keen with discord and would probably faint at the sight of snarl. But fluttershy seemed like the best option she was kind with any animal and discord so pinkie made up her mind. She was taking snarl to meet fluttershy.
