“Cheesiness isn’t a virtue” Twilight says as she walks away from me. Not only was this a strange thing for her to say but it’s totally out of context. I understand I’m her supposive ‘dragon-servant’ but that gives her no right to throw her shit on the ground.
I look at the blood-red sauce soaked spaghetti on the ground; should I clean up this Alicorn’s mess? Am I just going to give in and clean it up like every time and surface to her cruel and unusual punishments or will I show her that she is my slave-owner and just bend over? No! I won’t! I’ll stand up to her this time. I won’t be plain and happy go lucky. This time…
“Spi-ike! Are you done in there?”
“Almost done, Twi!” I suffice to her infernal pestering. She would never give in and if she did, I probably would end up dead and on the news, portrayed as a suicide. She is a princess after all. I do work for a freaking princess after all so it’s not all bad. I clean up her shitty mess and go to the kitchen.
“Thanks Spike! You are my favourite dragon!” This comment holds no worth since I’m sure that I AM the only dragon she keeps in contact with. “Can you get me the book on how to properly make this?” She has these three simple ingredients in front of her; hay, two slices of bread, and some other thing that is also a light brown color. I don’t even know what one of the those brown things were and I can tell that the so called ‘recipe’ was easier than a Pegasus after sun fall.
“Sure thing, Twi! Just one second!” I reluctantly walk back to the book shelves to look for whatever obscure book she wanted. There has to be at least ten thousand books in this stupid, huge castle and she asks for one book which she foolishly didn’t include a title for? How should I know what book to get? And why am I used for such trivial tasks? I’m a dragon, Celestia damn it! I’m not the one with mystical telekinetic powers. I’m also about half that bitch’s size! She qualifies for this position of book retrieving and scribe more than a pre-adolescent dragon.
By some miracle I found the written atrocity. On the pages it was just blatantly obvious pictures numbered one, two, three, and four. This always has depressed me because this is about sixty percent of the books in this hell shack. The student of the most known and greatest leader needs pictures to tell her how to make a damn sandwich. She destroyed Lord Tirek and saved millions of ponies but I guess she can’t retrieve her own illiterate, simple-minded books with her incredible magic.
“Here you go.” I say as I hand her the book. “Anything else?” A fake smile is plastered on my face, as it has been since she had hatched me from my egg in an unnatural way. As she turns around I think of all the ways I could just escape and leave her forever. I could finally be free and all I have to do is abandon during nightfall. Her insistent bickering will finally be gone. It’s not an attribute of laziness but rather the abuse and neglect of the ponies.
“Thank you, Spike. That will be all for now.” She even speaks to me as an inferior. Dragons could easily take over all ponies around but we decide not to. We are said to be equal but it doesn't matter. “Would you like me to make you anything?”
This is the first act of kindness she happened to show in a long time. I oblige and ask for a sandwich also. “Sorry Spike, I only have enough bread to make myself a sandwich.” This is what I expecting from her.
“That’s alright Twi. I wasn't hungry anyways. I’ll be off to bed now.” If she isn’t able to feel the least bit guilt then she is a monster.
“Alright Spike! Glad I could help. Goodnight!” I am doing everything in my possible self to not snap and go, excuse the pun, horseshit crazy on her. But I’m stronger than my own mind I guess, but just barely. I grit my teeth and start to head to my room.
“Goodnight!” I say to that wretched beast of a pony.
“See you tomorrow morning Spiky! Remember, tomorrow we have to get up early!” Poor naive pony. I won’t be seeing any of her tomorrow morning.
