The anti-element of hatred

I woke up yet again on the bed with Prim and Twilight standing next to me, i felt quite happy that they stayed and tried to get me back to proper health instead of just waiting a few hours for it to go away naturally.

"Hey Cinos are you awake?" Said Twilight who was the first one to speak, i could feel her breath on my neck and it felt quite uncomfortable. I sat up in bed and looked about to see if they had gone to get anyone but they seem to have waited for me to awake before setting out.

"Yeah i am fine thanks" i said as i slowly got up out of bed to get a drink of water, they did not seem to mind because they needed to go get their stuff knowing i would want to leave as soon as possible.

I went upstairs and got my stuff from the room, it was mainly clothes and food which i put in a sack which went around my waist. I put on some cute little socks which i thought they would like and went downstairs to meet them by the door. They were both there, Twilight with a purple colored bag which contained the same sort of stuff as me but Prim had a strange object in her bag which was mixed in with her clothes.

"Cinos what is with those socks?" said Twilight who had burst out into laughter at the look of me, the one who had once terrorized Equestria wearing little black socks. Prim who seemed to find the socks equally as funny and

I ignored the question as the socks were nice and warm and continued walking towards Prim who was by the entrance. The object in her bag was a white mask with a yellow tinge and orange stripes.

She saw me looking at it and a small smile went over her face as she nudged me and flicked me with her tail we left through the door, i now know that she too has an insane form and the activation mask on her.

We left Twilight's house into the broken world around us which i was observing until Twilight started discussing our plan.

"We are going to need to split up to get everyone here in time to set off before night and risk getting stuck going to Canterlot in the dark, see you later!"

"Wait Twilight do you not think wer shoud;... fine let's go then"

I walked to my selected location which was fluttershy's house mainly because i wanted to get my mask and i wanted to say sorry for what i did when i... well... killed her that one time.

Ponyville no longer looked like the peaceful rural town as I remembered. It looked urbanized, with modern looking 50's style houses stretching out for as far as I could see. Sweet Apple Acres was still there but it was on an island making it further away then it used to be. The house fluttershy was in was the only house that had kept the original design so i wondered if she was even still there or had denied the new design for her house.

I went to get the mask because if i was to ever come into any combat it would come in useful but then I noticed there was a huge cut on it which might have been caused by the spades hitting it but even with the scratch it was as radiant in design as it ever was. I picked it up and put in into my left pocket as i walked over to the house until i suddenly heard a voice say 'Finally you got it back, about time you were able to stand up to an ant again' to which i just rolled my eyes and kept on walking down the stony path.

I heard screaming coming from outside the door as my face turned red and i was sure if it was right to go inside and i turned to leave as i heard the screams were for help and then instantly kicked down the door to see two changelings which were at the time trying to stuff her into what looked like a rough leather bag, i knew that if i did not cut in soon she would be in a lot of trouble.

I knew that this would be the first time to test the new mask and see if it would still work so i put it up to my head and then suddenly was plunged into the darkness.

'I did not expect to see you so soon' Said the dark voice coming from the shimmering darkness but this time it was different, the darkness was stuck inside a cage with a huge seal on it, i did not know who did this or why it had happened but was glad for it anyway.

'I could not help but overhear the way that you said we should work together, i will grant you some of my power and see how this goes... i do enjoy watching anyway' After he said this i could see black slime like substances coming from the wall and sticking to me but after a few seconds it stopped and i could feel a slight increase in my overall strength but it was mainly in my legs that i felt the increase.

'Please make it entertaining and worth while me doing this' He said as i sunk through the ground and seemed to flash back into reality with no time passing at all. I walked over to the changelings as one leaped at me, i used my foot to smack it away but i managed to smash it through not only the wall but through a tree watching his limp body hit the floor and twitch before staying still in a small pile of blood emitting from the back of its head.

The other seeing what befell his friend dropped the sack and flew out of the house while emitting a high pitched scream of fright when seeing his friend his current state, after that he flew off crying out of his light blue eye's. I walked over to Fluttershy and took off my mask revealing my true face and smiling at her in a kind way before trying to start a conversation.

"Hey Fluttershy, long time no see don't you think?"

This being too much for her she emitted a little squeal and then fainted falling right into me and causing me to topple over with her laying on my legs making me to turn a bright shade of red. I was attempting to get her off my legs when Rainbow Dash, Prim, Twilight and Rarity ran through the door after seeming the hole in the side and wondering what might have happened inside, they were not expecting this.

"What are... when..." Was all that came out of Twilight as she saw the scene in front of her.

"Please help me, i can't get up because she fell on me when she was admiring my socks!" I said trying to keep a straight face and look as though i was serious.

"Well, ok then ill help you up" Said Prim to had just come over and gave me a helping hoof in which i willingly took as i stood up and put Fluttershy on my back till she recovered.

While this was happening Rainbow Dash was rolling on the floor laughing at the scene, Twilight was shaking her head while looking at the floor and Rarity was looking disappointingly and my socks. I walked over to Rarity and my face fell to the ground while my feeling turned ice cold at the thoughts or what i did to her so i did all i could to make her forgive me.

"Hey Rarity do you want a hug?"

All of them once again went quiet and even Rainbow Dash had stopped rolling and laughing to look at what Rarity was going to say at this question.

"Oh... Why would you ask such a question Cinos?" She said while tilting her head to the left slowly.

"Yeah well i had killed you that one time and i wanted to see if i could get your friendship back by any means necessarily, sorry again by the way..." I said rubbing the back of my head and looking at the others reactions which were all the same, concentrated look as they all waited to see what Rarity would do.

She flung her arms round me and said "It's ok, you were able to bring me back and your trying to help now so it's just fine"

After listening to the "Awwwww" coming from Twilight, Rarity and even Prim but Rainbow Dash looked in an odd way at me and was maybe still questioning if i was on their side so i will just have to prove her wrong.

I turn to Rainbow Dash and say "Do you know where the others are?" which caused her to become flustered.

"You... they are near... look i don't know!" She said looking at the others who were laughing at this attempt to respond to my question.

"You can hug him too Dash, I am not the only one who can enjoy this experience!" Rarity said looking over at Dash who was now blushing and trying to hide her face from the group of pony's who were now waiting for the hug to happen.

"I'm... I'll do it later" Dash said looking at the floor and whispering to herself "this is so not awesome!"

I turned to the door talking to the pony's who i once hated and once tried to kill and were now talking to him like a great friend, this was one of the best moments of my life.

This is what great friends were really like.

We were soon at Twilight's house after having a nice and bright conversation on what has been happening since I had left and what was going to happen now that we were together, it was really fun!

I opened the front door and let the girls through before I went through as i thought this was a nice thing to do, after that we all hat on the floor around the table with me sitting next to Dash and Rarity which was not the best selection i could chose but it will have to do for the moment.

"So, first we have to work out who we are going to sleep with because i only have so many beds... looks like it will have to  be two each!" Said Twilight with a scary smile, this could never end well.

"I... um would not mind sleeping with Cinos... that is if you don't mind..." Spoke Fluttershy first who got a dirty look from Rarity and an approving one from Twilight

"Very good!" She said to anypony who bothered to listen "I will sleep with Prim which means Dash and Rarity can share a bed together!"

We all got up and made our ways to the bedrooms even though i could see that everypony was looking at me instead of focusing were they were going, this made me blush a bit and look down at the floor. I went to the bathroom to wash myself so i was not all smelly for poor Fluttershy when i noticed a figure in the mirror above the sink.

"Oh hello, did not expect to be able to show you this so soon but please stay calm and i'll show you something you might like" Said a voice echoing inside my head which caused me to have another case of a severe headache.

I looked at the mirror to see myself but half of my body was gone and was replaced with another type of body. This body was black with huge wings and red eyes which glimmered in the light, the mane was fully black much like my own but had stripes of purple in it. I could not help but noticed the black studded armor that also came with that side of my body, my cutiemark was a white and red skull.

"Who am i..." I whispered to myself hoping the voice could hear my comment.

"This is me and the power I can give you if you let me get inside further and let me power you up more next time, all you have to do is ask and you can become almost invincible and stride over to even Princess Celestia and push her aside... I can tell you that if you control my power that we can become the best of friends or..." The other side of my grinned in a way that shown his spiked teeth "... I can be your worst enemy"

"How... how can i control you?" I said sounding desperate but really wanting to know how i can make this huge power mine.

"You will in due time, when you need it that is..."

The voice in my head had disappeared and my headache had faded away, there was a ringing in my head so i decided to take a shower to make sure that i not only smell good but am nice and clean. After applying a small amount or rose scented shampoo to my mane i left to the bedroom where i got straight in and took out my book of the newest book from the Daring Do series called 'Daring Do and the batmare bandit' which i was so concentrated in that i did not see Fluttershy come in and slip in bed next to me.

"Cinos, do you mind sharing that book... that is if you don't mind..."

"Sure, here you go, do you want me to start from the start?"

"Oh no, i don't mind you continue the part your on" Fluttershy said with a small smile on her face "Take your time to read as fast as you want"

We had been reading for about an hour till i noticed a creaking at the door and knew it was either someone outside or the wind, it would be best to find out. I lean over and put one arm over Fluttershy's shoulder as i bend down and whisper in her ear "Do you believe in love at first sight?"

Fluttershy looked at me with a slightly confused facial expression and knew that she did not understand where i was coming from.

"Well it's because I want to embrace only you, Fluttershy" I knew this would bring a reaction of some sort from outside but i just heard a huge gust of wind outside which made my stomach do a flip, had i just been saying that to her and no one else?

"Do you really feel that way because... Erm.... We have only known each other for a while and well..." She finished the sentence with a since an making a little 'eep' noise she then slowly returned the hug which i had started and made herself comfortable leaning on my neck which made her beautiful pink mane flutter in the wind.

My heart was beating ferociously inside of my chest and i could feel my face heating up but i was still continued until we were wrapped around each other, the book had long since fallen on the floor. I was still wondering who was outside when Fluttershy suddenly smiled and looked up at me.

"I do believe in love at first sight because... it is happening right now"

"Fluttershy I-" suddenly a huge white pony jumped on me followed by Twilight and Prim who looked like she had been forced to wake up.

"So, what were you two doing wrapped around each other?" Said Rarity leaning up and tilting her head.

Suddenly Prim burst out laughing but Twilight ran out the room with what looked like tears in her eyes which caused me to look at Fluttershy who was the brightest shade of red i had ever soon.

"Well lets all sleep here then, we need a good night sleep anyway" With that Rarity jumped in next to me and nearly crushed my spine giving me a hug which knocks me out, not my favorite way to go to sleep but it will have to do. When i woke up everyone had already gone and i was left on the bed, it seemed i did not have any dreams that night but that seemed a good thing. I stumbled to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth when i noticed something.

My socks were missing.

I run back to the bedroom and search under the bed and everywhere i can think they would have gone when suddenly my head hurt and i could hear various phrases which stung like needles.

'They did this to you' I tried to tun down the stairs but stumbled 'You are nothing to them' my head hurt more then ever but i continued my search for my socks  'You can do it you know, snap them like a twig and be done with it' I found them outside the shower and put them on, the voice then drifted away faster than it came. I stumbled down the stairs of the tree like building and reached the main room or the book room, you pick the name.

Everyone looked different but there were two people who were really quite depressed, that was Rainbow and Twilight but everyone else looked quite normal and quite jolly so i decided to speak up and get on our way.

"Ok, let's get going!" I said fist pumping the air and running out the door towards the place that is the train station that can lead us to Canterlot.

I caused the others to run after me over the bridges that connected the islands together and it was quite a journey which caused us to get pretty out of breath but we did make it. It was not the best path to take but we were able to get into the train which used suspended rails to travel, the journey was quite short and mainly was made up of us all complaining on Twilight's new book which was about a relationship between a white pegasus and a purple unicorn but that was when it clicked.

As the bus was nearing the station i turned around and stared Twilight straight in the eyes to see hers darting about until they reached onto the castle itself and her mouth fell open. I turned to see what had made her so stunned until I saw the dark shapes flying towards the train leaving ice where ever they went and killing off plants and other natural wildlife as they went, it truly was a horrible sight.

Suddenly the train screeched to a stop which caused everyone to jolt and for Fluttershy to collide with my stomach which a painful crunch. After she was done saying sorry for the third time i got up and slid open the train door and slowly took out the torch that was inside of Pinkie's saddlebag, it will come in use with all the flickering lights.

I said i would go on my own but Fluttershy just gripped onto my let and was soon joined with an overenthusiastic Rarity so i confirmed that i would let Fluttershy go along with me as she wanted to so much, the others would have to go the other way to the engine room and get the lights back on in the train. Fluttershy and me were walking down the train when the lights suddenly stopped flashing and went out altogether which caused Fluttershy to wince and lean on my which at the time i did not mind because i knew how she felt, i could barely control my shaking hand which held the flashlight.

"Hey, are you ok?" I replied as i saw Fluttershy panting and tearing up out of fright and knew that she needed to be calmed down as soon as possible.

"Well... I will be find just, stay here with me ok?" She said looking up into my eyes which nearly made me tear up in happiness knowing she was ok but... why would i be doing that, i only pretended to say that i loved her to see who was outside. Suddenly my mind was dragged out of its current mode and back into reality when i noticed two white balls of light which looked quite like eyes staring at me and Fluttershy but i had more important things to worry about.

The battery were running out.

I kicked open the door to the room nearest to attempt to find battery's for the flashlight which currently kept me and Fluttershy sane in this crazy darkness but i could only fumble through the dusty draws in a pointless attempt to keep myself occupied. As the flashlight started to dim i started to get scared and felt my heart beating faster as i slammed on the switch on a table lamp and the room light in a crazy attempt to get light but it was all in vain as the light slowly dimmed out into total darkness.

I snapped around and say Fluttershy staring into these white balls of light hanging from the wall which her eyes large and bleeding and her whole body shaking and sweating in the small portion of light which is coming from the balls themselves.  I ran back though the door when suddenly she stopped shaking and her eyes turned red and she slowly turned her head to face me with a blood stained face and opened her wide mouth to reveal thousands upon thousands of spiked teeth that caused me to stop and slowly back off into the room that i originally came from but saw too scared to move any faster than a snail.

I fumbled for my mask but could not find it inside my bag, without it I could not make any spells for light or defense against this new enemy who stood before me. Suddenly in a gust of wind the thing disappeared which caused me to look around drastically for the new position of my enemy when suddenly it appeared in front of me running at me and knocked me on the floor.

I kicked the thing off me with my back legs and it flipped in the air causing a heavy blow with its own leg on the left side of my face which knocked me into the wall of the train and nearly broke it.

"Fluttershy, what has gotten into you?" I said desperately through the blood now dripping from the inside of my mouth which caused me to become slightly dizzy when suddenly I got a response from this thing that used to be Fluttershy.

"I hate everything about you, you know that?" It said through the spiked smile which had seemed to get large than i though possible as it slowly walked over to me with a slight limp as it went.

"Goodbye is the hardest thing to hear but if it is from whom you love it cuts through you like water" It continued as it advanced towards my crumpled body and threw more hurtful insults at me. Suddenly the lights came on and the thing in front of me covered its eyes and I took it as a chance to smash my front hoof into its face sending it flying backward and hitting the wall with a painful thud.

I could hear hoof steps behind me but as blood filled my mouth my vision went blurred and i was not able to think before i fell to the floor with a sense of hurt not from my wound but in my chest.

I really did have feeling from Fluttershy.

I awoke hearing the voice of the Rarity who was looking down at me from the side of my bed and who let out a sigh as she saw my eyes opens.

"He is back with us, darling are you ok?" Said Rarity looking down at me with a smile that I was so happy to finally see again after what had just happened.

"So, you got the lights back on?" I say sitting up and feeling the unfamiliar bandages which are wrapped around my jaw which had been easily dislocated after just being healed a while back.

"Yes we got the lights back on, Fluttershy seems hurt more than you but we should get moving or those... things might find us soon" Rarity said turning her head and looking quickly around the darkness to see if anyone was there before planting a kiss on my forehead and walking off to get to the others. I get out of bed and walk off to not to join the others but towards the front of the train and slowly opened the door and looked at the apocalyptic castle that stood ahead, I slid through the door and ran to the nearest cover that i could find.

Knowing that it would be better to go alone and risk less chance of them getting hurt I continued towards the gates of the castle which seemed surprisingly unprotected compared to the rest of the area. I went to the side of the castle and flew slowly up to the roof while checking around to see if anyone was looking at me, I was quite lucky and made it to the roof.

I looking through the glass plates of the roof and saw Enya who was a light orange and had a red and blue tinged mane. You could not miss one thing about her though, she was encased in a ball of water and there were tones of bandages wrapped over her eyes which caused her to stumble a bit as she walked around next to the throne.

I did the only thing that seemed to make sense at the time, I crawled into a ball and closed my eyes which led me into the dream with my power, the power which I could not control. I opened my eyes and saw the cage that i could remember so well.

"So, what is it that you look for from me this time?" Said the shimmering darkness that was in the shape of an alicorn with an aura that looked very much like Nightmare moons.

"All of it, all the power that you can give me without making me crazy" I say raising one hoof and tapping my heart to indicate what happened last time i was driven crazy with the power.

"Well, lets see if you can handle it and good luck" It said with a grin as it raised its own hand and the black balls of power did not cover just cover my legs it covered my whole body. I was shaking and it left like someone had dropped a huge weight on my back but i still thought it and soon returned to the real world with my body more powerful than usual and a aura of fire pulsing around me.

I attempted to solidify my power and then suddenly there was a huge pulse of fire let off my shield like aura that broke the glass under me causing me to fall right into the middle of the hall crushing a changeling that happened to be under me at the time. I felt the power flowing through my body and felt the red in my eyes as i slowly walked towards the orange pony that sat leaning to one of the side rests of the throne.

"Hello Cinos, I was expecting you to get off that train a little bit sooner" Said Enya who had gotten off the throne and was now advancing towards me "Let's see how powerful you are with a little fight shall we?"

"You got yourself a fight" I said charging towards her as she indicated for the changelings to leave while there was still time. I threw my fist at her watching the force impact on her shield and using my new speed I flashed around her delivering hundreds of kicks powered with fire to her shield.

Suddenly i feel a strong kick smash into my kidney from the blind pony that was somehow alive from my assault from earlier. We get into the heat of battle kicking and hitting at each other but as i only hit her shield she hits me directly first focusing on my organs but then going on to try and break my legs.

Suddenly she was there and then she was not, she smashed me to the floor and followed with continuous hits in the air which caused me to spit blood so much that the floor was covered with the stuff. Suddenly i heard a voice in my head which sound almost happy with the events that was happening before him.

"Need my help, just let me into you for ten seconds and see what I can do" Came a ringing voice in my head which caused me to lose focus and get another hit to my leg which nearly made me fall over. I whispered "Yes" and suddenly I was pushed out of my own body and watched upon the scene from above.

A flash of light came out of me and when it cleared I looked exactly like the darkness accept for being white and still not at tall.

"So Enya, lets see if your shield can handle this" I said with a smile as i whole body went on fire and i blasted towards my enemy. I smashed my fist into the shield and i was surprised to see it pass straight through the smash the orange pony in the stomach which caused her to fall over and for her shield to flicker off.

After smashing her about and kicking her across the floor at high speed i was suddenly returned to my body and was able to see the broken body of the once proud pony called Enya. I ran over to her any picked her up helping her stand on all four hoofs causing her to look at me in a very confused look.

"Why are you helping me, a few moments ago you where huge and could have easily killed me at any time?" She said shaking and having to use the throne to balance herself. "I hate you and everyone else, I will help Discord create the perfect world with or without support!" She shouted pushing me away any showing her hatred towards me.

"The best way to make the world a better place is to make yourself a better person" I said as i slowly went over and put my fount legs around her. I expected to feel a blow at me chest or to feel the shield being built back up but all i felt was an arm on my own shoulder and tears dripping into my mane.

"You know what, you are right" She said as the necklace resting around her neck shattered leaving a jem of a red, full heart on the floor next to it. We embraced for about three minutes as i let her release all her sadness in me when suddenly her lips met mine and she brought me into a long and soft kiss.

After a bit we broke apart and she said "How are we going to get out, there are loads of changelings in the castle and if they see you or me without the necklace then we are done for!"

"We might need to fight a bit mo-"

My sentence was cut short by the sound of the doors crashing open and not only the crew that i had left in the train but the whole of the royal guard was standing there.

"We thought you might require a little help and we thought that by going down and getting the royal army from the prison down below we would be able to get this place cleared up in ten seconds flat!" Said Rainbow looking up at me and Enya who was smiling at the action she could hear around her.

"Well, we need to get going Enya so I guess I will be seeing you sometime later" I said as she yet again brought me in for another hug which i took but sadly had to break as Twilight, Fluttershy and Rarity decided to pull me out by my front hoof. "Enya, your a really good person so just remember that ok?" I shouted as we exited the castle doors and received a wave back from her.

Prim was standing outside groaning at how she was not able to get any action and had to fight changelings so i nudged her and whispered "I'll let you at the next big enemy we see ok?" and with that she smiled and nodded as went to ask Twilight were she knew any others could be.

"Twilight, you know what any others could be hiding?" I said looking at her with a confused expression but she just laughed and looked over at her friends.

"I think you will like who we have to face next and so will everyone else, she is the betrayal and i can understand why" Said Twilight as she sat down on the marble floor and yet again looked up at me.

"So, who are we going to be going after next!" I said getting maybe a bit too exited as i hopped from one hoof to the other in excitement.

Twilight pointed towards the islands which were quite a distance away from Ponyville as one single name escaped her mouth.

"Trixie"
