Princess Celestia Makes Everypony Alicorns

"So," Princess Celestia said, sunglasses over her eyes and her mane put up in a- excuse the pun- ponytail. "Think you know everything you need. I'm off then." Twilight shook her head. "Wait," she said. "What about Luna?" "Why, she's already on her way to the moon. By choice, of course." Celestia's face visibly drkened for a moment before her demeanor turned ore cheerful.

"But, Princess, I just don't get it. Why are you three vacationing on the moon? Isn't that dangerous?" Celestia laughed. "Believe me, Twilight, the moon is very nice." The Princess of Equestria said. "But, Princess, what if something happens while your gone?" Twilight pondered.

"Well," she returned. "I think I'll just do this." Her horn charged, then let off a large blast that seemed to echo all over Equestria. "What happened?" Twilight asked, peering up at the tall Alicorn. "You'll find out soon enough. Toodle-oo!" With that, there was a smaller blast, and the Princess was gone.

Twilight frowned. What had happened?

She walked down through the castle's large staircase and into the main room, out the door, but was stopped short by a panicked crowed. Everypony was running about and screaming. But the odd thing was that they all had wings. And horns. And did they seem a bit larger? Wait a second... they were Alicrons! Twilight shrieked, but this proved to be a bad idea, because ponies were pointing and shouting, "Look, there's Princess Twilight!" and "Maybe she'll tell us what's going on!"

Ponies crowded around her, yelling.

"Listen everypony!" Twilight tried to catch somepony, anypony's attention. But nothing seemed to work. "I don't know what's going on! I can't tell you why Princess Celestia did this!" Ponies began to go silent. "Princess Celestia?!" One shouted. Oh boy. This was gonna be one Tartarus of a day.

"Twah," Applejack frowned. "Why are we... well..." She ignored Rarity's smug look from across the room and looked to Twilight. "Well, Alicorns." Rarity scoffed from across the room. "You mean Princesses." "No, Ah mean Alicorns. Ah refuse t' call mahself somthin' so fancy-shmancy like that."

"I suppose this was my fault," Twilight said. "I was the one who was so worried that something would happen while the Princesses were gone." She sighed. "You WERE!" Pinkie gasped. "I knew this would happen, I just knew it! When I saw it in my crystal ball I just knew it had to be true!" Rainbow Dash shook her head, stepping toward a nervousited Pinkie. "Pinkie Pie," she murmured. "You are so random."

"I KNOW! Isn't it just great?"

Um, I think that, uh... we need to be changed back."

"CHANGED BACK, Darling? Oh, heavens, no! How could you possibly make me give THIS up?"

"Oh, Ah dunno. Take it byeh force?"

"Oh, quiet, you. You don't have an idea of what you're talking about."

"Well, Ah do know that what Ah do to ya, Ah can't take responsibility for-"

"ENOUGH!" Twilight shouted. "Girls, I know you're disoriented by the change, and I know it might be a little hard for you, but we just have to work through it. And we can do that, with friendship and teamwork!" Twilight grinned. "Now who's with me?!"

Everypony stared at the purple Alicorn for a moment.

Then went back to arguing.

"Ah know sure as hay Ah ain't stayin' like this!"

"Well, I am! The Wonderbolts are sure to accept me in! They can't say no to an Alicorn, a Princess at that! Oh, Twilight, you can make me a Princess, can't you?"

"I..." The Alicorn sighed.

"I must certainly say that I am quite enjoying this change. Just think of all the orders I'll get for my dresses! And the praise from Canterlot's highest? I can already imagine!"

"Well, Ah guess this could help me make money for the Apple Farm... y'know what, it is pretty great!"

"GIRRRRRLS! Quiet!"

"And I told Gummy, I did, 'Just because I'm a Timelord, doesn't mean I can't be a gypsy too!' " Pinkie stopped and looked at the Princess. "Yes, Twilight?" She said, blinking innocently.

"Okay, look, I get you all want to use this to your advantage, but I don't think that's a very good idea. Listen, I think we'd all just better stay home and wait for Princess Celestia to return. I don't know any spells to turn us back!" Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes. "What about that spell you used to turn us into Breezies?" Twilight nodded, "Good question. I would use that if I were the one who changed us, but Princess Celestia did this. Nopony is able to counter her spells, not even Starswirl the Bearded." "Thanks, egghead."

"WAIIIT," Pinkie interjected. "What about all the other ponies? Didn't you say that Princess Celestia turned EVERY SINGLE PONY IN ALL THE WIDE, WIDE WORLD OF EQUESTRIA, no matter Unicorn, Pegasus, Earth Pony or whatever else, into Alicorns? How are we going to get them to stay home and wait for Princess Celestia to come back? How are we gonna keep them quiet?"

"I'll cast a silence spell."

"What's that?" Five voices said.

"It's a spell that basically takes ponies' voices away for a precise amount of time, very much unlike the zipper spell I use on Spike when I need him to be quiet."

"Okay, so let's wait for Princess Celestia t' come back, then, sugarcube."

So Twilight cast her silence spell, the girls  waited and waited, but Princess Celestia never came back and they were stuck as Alicorns forever.
