To do this, the eldest used her unicorn powers to raise the sun at dawn; the younger brought out the moon to begin the night. Thus, the two sisters maintained balance for their kingdom and their subjects, all the different types of ponies. But as time went on, the younger sister became resentful. The ponies relished and played in the day her elder sister brought forth, but shunned and slept through her beautiful night. One fateful day, the younger unicorn refused to lower the moon to make way for the dawn. The elder sister tried to reason with her, but the bitterness in the young one's heart had transformed her into a wicked mare of darkness: Nightmare Moon. She vowed that she would shroud the land in eternal night. Reluctantly, the elder sister harnessed the most powerful magic known to ponydom: the Elements of Harmony. Using the magic of the Elements of Harmony, she defeated her younger sister, and banished her permanently in the moon. The elder sister took on responsibility for both sun and moon and harmony has been maintained in Equestria for generations since… ...until one night, a shooting star would light up the dark sky. It flew and flew, lighting the world as it went. The star would end it’s flight by landing within the ocean. But what we thought was a star was in fact a pony, a pegasus to be exact. He had a very light brown shade for his fur coat and dark brown hair. A cutie mark, which represented a pony’s special talent, was not to be found on him. He also wore a golden crown necklace around his neck. The pony’s eyes were shut as he fell deeper and deeper, his necklace rattling as he descended into abyss… Youtube Video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29KHZ3jVguk) He slowly began to wake revealing his lime green eyes. Many things flowing into his brain as he continued to fall. He flipped himself over to land on all four legs. Darkness… all he could see, not the slightest glimmer of light. He took one step forward and soon found himself being blinded by a bright light. Once it cleared, he was in the middle of a town, many ponies going about their days. The sun shined brightly in his face. What was off was the figure standing in the center of all this. He wasn’t sure what to make of it. It was bipedal, wore an all dark purple robe and had long brown hair. She turns around to face the pegasus as he stares in wonder. It blinks a couple of times, then soon smiles. Their area went completely white and blank. It raised one of its forelegs to reach out for the pony. He was surprised, and without thinking, he ran over to it. It was in vain as he soon found himself falling again into the depths of darkness. Once he landed, he was now in the center of a castle. Six other ponies behind him, looking very injured, looked surprised as his presence. He looks up to see a terrifying winged-unicorn with a dark colored coat and essence. She was looking to attack the group. The pegasus cut her off. He jumped into the middle of the action completely unaware of the dangers that would appear before him. He was struck hard by a lightning bolt and was launched to the wall. He looked back up in pain and saw the evil winged-unicorn ready to finish off the group. He used his wings to quickly swoop in and stop her attack. Suddenly, a key shaped sword appeared with his grasp. All in the room were surprised by its presence. One of the ponies in the group stood up weakly, she was purple unicorn with a star cutie mark. Her crown that she wore glowed very brightly as well as the others’ necklaces. They all then shot out a rainbow colored beam at the key shaped sword. Feeling the power coursing through him, he unleashed a relentless assault of combos to the winged-unicorn. She stepped back very weakly, very worried about herself now. The pegasus then flew up high and was surrounded with light. He aimed the blade at the winged-unicorn and fired a large beam of light at her. The impact caused a massive explosion that sent everypony flying. They all laid unconscious as the pegasus soon began falling again. As he fell however, a cyan colored heart had appeared in the sides of his flank; he had finally earned his special talent. After descending another time, he now found himself in a bedroom, most likely his own. With him was a pink colored earth pony with a bubbly mane. She was also part of the group from the previous encounter with that winged-unicorn. They held each other close while laying in bed, a sense of calmness and relaxation coursed through the pegasus as he stroked her head. The fire from the chimney lit up the room as they laid together. Both of them smiling as their lips met each others. Once they met, they both started falling as the world around them shattered. They were both now in an open grassy field. In front of them was a mysterious figure that gave a hostile vibe to the two ponies. He looked the exact same as the pegasus, only he was in all dark themed colors. Black fur coat, red eyes, and he had a heart with an X crossing through it as a cutie mark. Feeling threatened, the pegasus summoned his key shaped sword once more as his doppelganger did as well. The pink pony could only watch in fear as the two battled. Slash after slash they went, but soon there was a pause in the battle with both blades meeting each other… and everything grew black once more… Falling and falling he went for the last time… He was now coated in light as he fell, he had become the shooting star again. Faster and faster he went as he soared with his eyes closed… but he was no longer in Equestria… Through his window, a small figure watched from his bedroom a shooting star falling… one lone tear escapes his eyes as he smiles to it.
