//-------------------------------------------------------// Town of Ponyville -by RDSparkle- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue (Day 1) //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue (Day 1) Twilight Sparkle was trotting towards a new town one day in which her friend Princess Celestia had told her about. She was told about a small little town called Town of Ponyville, which Celestia described in her letter. Dear Twilight, I am very glad you are accepting my offer of living with me in Town of Ponyville. From what I know, it is peaceful here. There are fifteen houses here already occupied but I managed get you one. When you arrive, you will be moving into house number 3. In addition, you will be assigned a job or role as this town describes it as. I really hope to see you soon. Sincerely, Celestia Though it intrigued her as to why she chose such a small, little town, she was still excited to live as neighbors with her best friend. After a hour of trotting though a thick forest, she finally arrived at a small town that seemed to be circled off by houses. She figured this was the place. "Why hello darling." Twilight turned to the voice of a white unicorn. "My name is Rarity, what might yourself be?" "Oh my name is Twilight Sparkle, nice to meet you." They both shook hoofs. "Hey, do you know Celestia?" "Of course. I think she lives in house 1 if I do remember." "Thank you so much Rarity, I see you again soon." Twilight waved as she left. "Bye." she waved back. Twilight made her way to house one, which was conveniently at the front of the town. She knocked on the door and waited a bit. "Why hello Twilight, I knew you would make it, how are you, how was your trip?" Celestia beamed. Twilight giggled. "It was great, except for the forest I had to get through just to get here." "Yeah, everyone always complains about that forest. I don't know why, it’s not it’s magic ridden or anything." "Of course not, it’s just... dark." Celestia raised her eyebrow. "Really?" "Oh come on, you can't tell me you weren't scared by the endless noises of that one hour trot." "Of fine, I admit it. I was a BIT scared." "Good enough." They both laughed. "Hey, since you're the last one to join the town, we're supposed to hold a get together tonight just so we know everypony and I think a certain somepony you may know will be there." "You mean Fluttershy; she is a part of this town too?" Twilight questioned, blushing a little. "Of course, who else would I be hinting? Plus the little pink on your cheeks is telling the story for me." Celestia said giving a sheepish grin. "Well... um... you see... Oh forget it, I did kind of have a crush on her from since I met her back then." Twilight admitted growing more reddish-pink. Celestia giggled. "Alright, I won't talk about that again, but you know I am here when you need advice." Twilight smiled and hugged her. "Thanks Celestia." Celestia hugged back, but a bit saddened about something; though she can't face her like that. "You should get on home and get ready; we're holding the get together at sundown." "Alright, see you at then." "Bye Twilight" It was sunset in Town of Ponyville; Twilight was still in her home contemplating the letter she received from an anonymous sender. Dear owner of House 3, You have been selected to have the [role disclosed] role. Within this town is eight town ponies that set out to protect this town from the four ponies that are against the town and are out to kill. There are also three other neutral roles that can choose to go for or against the town. Nobody else knows of your role. All you have to do is be careful of what you say and not look suspicious. Most of the town will not make it out alive. On the next page is the information about your role. Stay vigilant and good luck. Sincerely Anonymous When she first joined this town, she thought this town would be peaceful and everyone would be happy, sadly she should have known better. It struck her that she would receive such a big role. She now only hopes that both Celestia and Fluttershy are not against who she works with. She finally left for the middle of the town. The other town members arrived by the time she did. A pink, energetic pony with a pink poofy mane bounced up to the stand. "Hi everypony, some may already know my name but I'll say it again for our newcomer. My name is Pinkie Pie, owner of house ten, and I will be hosting this get together, so LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED." She jumped right off the stand. Everypony started talking amongst them, as would any other party. Twilight walked around and found a cream-colored pony with a long pink mane. She immediately recognized her as Fluttershy. She walked up to her. "Hey." Twilight said stuttering a bit. Fluttershy turned to her and she paused. "T-twilight?" she said stuttering. "Hey Fluttershy." Twilight pulled her in for a hug. "How have you been?" "Twilight, it has been awhile since I've last seen you. I'm doing fine, thank you." Twilight noticed tear streaks on her fur. "Have you been crying? What's wrong?" She sniffs. "It's just that... when I read the letter I got scared that everyone will die and I will be left alone to wither away. It's not what I want Twilight, I moved here to be happy and live peacefully in this small town but..." she explodes into more tears. Twilight hugs her. "Its okay, I will try my best to protect you." Fluttershy gets out and backs away. "W-what are you?" Twilight sighed knowing it's gonna be hard to go by the rules. "All I'm allowed to say is that I am Town, I need you to trust me so I can try. Please Fluttershy?" Fluttershy stood silent. Twilight sighed sadly and started to walk but was soon hugged by her. "I trust you." Twilight hugged back lovingly. "Okay everypony, its time for the games, COME ON." Pinkie announced. And the get together went off with the fun and laughter it deserved. Nopony showed any sadness about the impending night that awaits them. Fluttershy and Twilight talked and caught up with each other and Twilight made friends with Rarity when stopped by. When the moon was seen up in the sky, everypony said their goodbyes and went to their house to retreat for the night. Now everyponies nerves were on edge. They all ask one question, what is gonna happen to the town? Author's Note Next time on ToP: The killing begins with Night 1 and Day 2. Who are the traitors? Who is innocent? I pushed my heart out writing this and procrastinated for 2 weeks before finishing, not my fault. It will be hard to figure out for you cause I had a layout and scrambled it so much nobody would.
