What Is That Thing?

The crackling of fire was the only sound that filled the air. small animals, scurried along the ground desperately trying to prolong there inevitable  death by fire. Suddenly the sound of falling trees occupied the distance, with every tree that fell the ground would rumble as if a miniature earth quake had just come to a start and had ended abruptly. The rumble became stronger and stronger until two Mechs entered the clearing, Both of them being classified as Ravens. Clark looked at is HUD checking if his mechs temperature levels remained nominal, the Ravens EIRV allowing them to see in the black smoke that was surrounding them.

"Status report razor. Hows your Mech doing?" Clark looked over at Razors Mech, it was the same mech as Clark's with the exception of a different weapons load out, and red and black tiger stripes camo.

"My Betty is fine, Yes?" Razor answered as he stepped on another helpless animal.

The two mechs continued to move south until the spotted something hiding past the trees, Animals of all shapes and sizes were flocking towards it.

"Razor I've spotted something past those trees, not large enough to have a radar signature though." Clark stopped his mech within 200 feet of the object. "If foe I burn, Yes?" Razor answered while arming his flamer.

Clark moved his Mech 5 meters to the left. "Razor, You stay here. I'm going to go around and approach from the left." Clark said as he maneuvered into position "Clark never lets Razor have fun, Yes?" Razor answered with disappointment, powering down his flamer.

As Clark approached he could slowly begin to make out what the object was.

"Is That a...Cottage?" Clark said with disbelief.

Inside of Fluttershy's Cottage.

Fluttershy's cottage was in complete disarray. animals from all over the forest had come here to seek shelter from the raging fire outside.

"oh dear, oh my..." fluttershy spoke as she tended to an injured squirrel.

So far the day had been one of the worst days of Fluttershy's life. The raging fire outside was destroying all these poor animals homes, with the cottage not far from the same fate. on top of that there were sets of mini earth quakes that shook her home, frightening the animals even further.

"water, I need water!" Fluttershy frantically said as she tried to keep the poor squirrel alive.

"hmmmnn.... Please wait here ill be right back!" Fluttershy said as she grabbed a bucket with her mouth and ran outside.

Clark's Mech had only been about 20 meters away from the cottage, when a figure ran out the front door.

"What the Hell..." Clark turned on his zoom optics to get a better look at the small creature that was bent over next to a pond.

Clark was stunned to see that the figure was none other than a-

" IS THAT A PONY?!?!" Clarks said with disbelief.

It was a Pony, pony with wings, a Pegasus to be exact, it appeared to be filling up a bucket with water. However, before Clark could make further thoughts about the Pegasus in front of him, he spotted some thing out of the Conner of his eye. The creature was much larger than the Pegasus, it strongly resembled a wolf. the wolf like creature was approaching the Pegasus from the behind, getting ready to pounce of the poor creature.

Fluttershy heard a twig snap behind her, she turned around and to her horror there was the bright green eyes of an Timberwolf. The Timberwolf growled as it stalked closer, Fluttershy screamed as the wolf pounced towards her. Suddenly a bolt of something green came out of nowhere and sliced right through the Timberwolfs body. The Timberwolf landed on the ground next to Fluttershy, dead. Fluttershy what struggling to comprehend what just happened, had some pony just saved her with a powerful spell? Fluttershy looked to the left were the bolt had come from.

"um...Hello?...." No answer, "I-Is some pony out there?" still no response. there was nothing but a wall of black smoke surrounding her.

as if on cue, the sound of something big coming towards her filled the air. The ground began to shake as the massive creature came into view.

Clark moved his mech forward at its slowest speed, not wanting to alarm the Pegasus he had just saved. The Pony just stared at his mech not even moving, a look of absolute horror plastered on its face.

Not many words could be used to describe the THING that now stood in front of her. It had to have been at least 40 feet tall, most of that hight was made up by its abnormally long legs. On top of those legs as a elongated beak thing, which she presumed was its head, and to the sides of the head were a set of two barrels. The massive beast gave off a humming sound as it just stood there. Even though, it looked to have no eyes, Fluttershy could clearly tell that the beast was staring directly at her. She heard another tree fall behind her, as a second steel monster approached. This one looked exactly as the first, except for its color scheme, red with black stripes.

Razor approached the cottage and stopped in front of the pond.

"Is that a pony yes?" Razor spoke with confusion. Razor the toggled his search lights which lit up a large area.

Fluttershy jumped back two feet when two bright lights revealed themselves on the second creature, she could only assume that those were its eyes. She looked back at the first beast.

"oh...Oh my... Um T-thankyou for saving me..." fluttershy said with a hint of fear in her voice. the mech continued to stare down at her. Suddenly Twilight, Spike, Pinkepie, Applejack, and Rarity came running out from the tree line.

"Oh my goodness, Fluttershy. Thank Celestia you're oka--" Twilight was cut short, her mouth agape as well as were the others. she pointed at the two creatures

"WHAT ARE THOSE THINGS!?!?!?"
