//-------------------------------------------------------// Sa/Ni/Ty -by Halsed- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: No Past //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: No Past Chapter 1: No Past Whispers, crying, moaning and screaming… that is what I heard. Why are ponies screaming my name? . . . In a sudden flash I woke up, the green, evergreen trees were swaying back and forth and the pine smell filled the air. Getting up, I noticed that apparently I used a log for a bed. While I was brushing my cherry red mane, I noticed my surroundings is what seemed like a never ending forest. Wanting to take a bath was a great idea because I would love to clean my light caramel fur. “Cold baths, my favorite.” I grunt. I stared at a crystal clear lake during my bath I began to find out that… I lost my memory. My mind can only remember my name (Trexx) and nothing else. Using leaves was my only source for rinsing. Then a sound blasted through the forest, thus scaring the birds. A sound of a little one screaming was for some reason able to kick in my instinct and I quickly ran toward the scream. As I finally reached my destination I noticed that there was huge monster that resembled a timberwolf, only problem is its 8 feet tall with bark covering its skin. The monster attacked me, allowing my body to slam the ground hard enough to break some ribs. My inner self decided to fight and threw a punch at the monsters stomach. The other hoof punched its wooden jaw, dislodging it in an instant. Suddenly blood started spewing out of my mouth due to the fact that my ribs are broken. Screaming, that’s all the monster did until it started to melt, turning to a strange black substance. My body couldn’t move. Then I saw a little filly with a big pink bowtie on her head, she looked at me in horror as I fell face-down toward the ground. . . . Instead of waking up on a dirty old log, I woke up on the hospital bed. The nurse came in smiling, “Thank goodness, that filly you saved brought you here. Your ribs are in bad shape so it is best if you lie down for a while.” Hours passed as I did nothing but eat green mashed peas, then the same filly I saved came in the room smiling with her two companions. A big red colt and an orange mare that wore a western hat, the orange one spoke first “Ah couldn’t thank yah more sugah, after y’all you saved mah sister, Applebloom is her name an’ Applejack is mine!” The red colt just replied with a “yep!” Applebloom blurted out that the red colt was named Big Mac. “Haha, that’s nice” I reply while attempting to wave “The name is Trexx” I give off a sad look that made everypony look at me with grief until Applejack speaks up “What’s the matter sugah?” My face looks up to Applejack looking at her bright eyes “I have a problem. I cannot remember anything except my name.” My facial expressions quickly change to curiosity , “Also Applebloom? What were you doing in the middle of the forest?” All eyes turn to Applebloom who looks a bit frightened “Well, it’s a long story” She begins. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Black Eclipse //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Black Eclipse Chapter 2: Black Eclipse (Just to jog up your memory, Applebloom is telling her reason for being in Everfree forest) Applebloom turns to my direction “I reckon that ah heard zapapples grow in Everfree so ah went to check fer’ myself see.” Applejack gives off an angry look at her sister “Well why in world would yah go by yerself?!? Yah know as well as ah do that the Everfree is a big forest to get lost in!” Applebloom resumes to her experience, ignoring Applejack “But before ah could find any apples, a big scary timberwolf came out of nowhere! All it did was chant You’re not sane! You’re not sane! What the buck does that mean?” That exact moment, the door burst open with the nurse standing in a grim expression. “Excuse me Mr. Trexx? Would you go check something outside? There is a problem”. Getting up, I followed the nurse toward the front door. The front door burst into pieces with little wood bits all over the floor. Out came a nasty looking pony with thorns wrapped around it. The face was a mares but the fuzzy looking mane looked like a colt. It dripped slime and had a slim 9 feet body. The creature grabbed me, trying to choke me with its thorns. All I could do is squirm and bite but it was impossible, I was at near death. Suddenly I was staring at a spear blade in front of me. The monster let go of me whilst screaming and melting into the same black liquid from the weretimberwolf yesterday. My eyes darted to the left and noticed that one of the guards looked very tired and had a throwing stance, the guard just looked at me with a smile. . . . (This is a perspective of a new character, Black Eclipse!) Today was the day I became one of Celestia’s guards! It was no easy task I had to do all types of crazy shit just to be a trustworthy guard (One of them was to cover my sexy blue mane). The ceremony for the new guards was awesome (There was free food). This morning I decided to do some training for my excellent spear throwing skills, not to brag but I am a really good spear thrower! The second I stepped out I gave the air a nice deep breath and rub my dark green fur for warmth. It took couple hours but my spear finally manage to pierce the dummy in the heart. I decided to keep training until I heard mumbling behind me, it sounded like it was saying “You’re not sane”. The mumbling continued so I went to check it out, unfortunately it was at Everfree Forest. The mumbling kept on getting louder and louder until I reached the riverbank. There stood a white pony in a robe and black mask that had only one yellow diamond eye. All it did was look at me and whisper “You’re not sane” then it disappeared. I was hella confused suddenly out of nowhere I heard screaming and crashing. I ran to check it out because since I’m a guard, I got things to control and maintain. The second I got there it was already jam packed with guards but none of them would budge, they all seemed too scared. After going through the crowds I saw the creepiest looking thing ever, it looked like a tall pony covered in thorns. The monster grabbed somepony and began choking it. I looked to my left and right and saw that no one wanted to fight or help the pony in danger, so that’s why I grabbed my spear and threw at the… thing. It killed it instantly from the spear in its head. The pony fell on the ground choking up blood and looking at me with surprise in his eyes. All I could do is just crack a smile. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: The Dark Depths //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: The Dark Depths Chapter 3: The Dark Depths It was spreading like wildfire. Everypony was talking about it, even the princess. Laying in the hospital was my only option (my ribs were not completely healed) and eating mashed pea’s… great. I nudged myself towards the window to look at the dark gloomy sky filled with bright stars. A knock on the door startled me, in came the same pony that saved my life. The colt sat down next to my bed and brought some flowers, “Sheesh before you try to fight a freaking monster have some help beside you, the names Black Eclipse, you?” the entire time I was looking up. My head turns to his direction, “My name is Trexx… that’s it.” He throws a giant chuckle. I explained to him about my problem but after I mention what the creatures say he moves away from me, “Hey Trexx, that’s some freaky shit” I nod… it was strange. After a while of exchanging stories (I never knew he was such a I-am-awesome type of pony.) the nurse came in my room to tell me that visitors had to leave at this hour, “just a few more minutes” I asked her. She nodded and closed the door. I caught Black Eclipse looking at something and decided to follow his eyes. Apparently there was a rug just under my bed (I never noticed) but the rug had an unusual bump at the bottom, it would seem that the rug was hiding something underneath it. Me and Eclipse had the same idea and asked him to lift up the rug. He walked towards it and did as he was told but upon lifting the rug was a trapdoor. “Well, well, well” Eclipse exclaimed in a smile. “I never knew the hospital had a buckin trap door in one of their rooms!” neither did I in fact, the way I remembered, the rug was never even there. Eclipse opened the hatchet and before us was a deep dark hole. Getting out of my bed Eclipse quickly runs up to me but I signal him it that I was okay, “It’s alright”, I tell him “I’d rather go on to an adventure than lay in bed eating some abnormal food, Eclipse nodded “Also Trexx from now on I am by your side from now on until this mystery ends.” I wanted to tell him no but right before I said something Eclipse lifted his hoof up “It’s ok, I got nothing better to do myself so going on this mystery will be fun!” he smiled a smile that was impossible to say no to, so I nodded and signaled him to jump at three. “One… two… three!” we both jumped into the pit that was surprisingly small but still kind of hurt. We both got up and brushed ourselves. The pit was actually a long hall that seemed it would go on forever. As we began to proceed towards the long room Eclipse turned around and found out that the hole where we jumped into was gone, he looked at me with a paranoid expression, so I told him the truth. “The trapdoor and rug was actually never there in the first place.” Eclipse nods and stops in his tracks. His expression seemed like he saw a ghost so I turn as well to notice that the hall lured us into a room with one coffin that stands in the middle. The room had an octagon shape and the coffin looked fresh but as soon as I proceeded to open it the coffin opened itself. Out of the coffin stood a tall white pony with no eyes or snout (except a long stitched smile) that began to open. The stitched mouth was beginning to rip open because of blood leaking out of it. A loud scream echoed the hallways as the creature flung towards us at full speed when suddenly everything turned black and I fell unconscious on my back. I heard kicking and yelping while blood was splashing on the ground. Suddenly I heard someone whisper “Oh…it’s you”. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: An Old Legend //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: An Old Legend Chapter 4: An Old Legend “Ugh…” my eyes finally open from my concussion. How long was I out? Twenty minutes passed while my vision fixed itself. I got up on my hooves but failed to stand up. Somepony came up to me, it was a colt my size, he had bright brown eyes and a fuzzy mane… not to mention the grey coat. The colt looked at me with a smile, “Well, well, Well… looky who finally woke up”. We both heard Eclipse groan in the back room. “Where the fuck…?” Eclipse stood up and looked around the room. He picked up a nearby stick and began pacing. The mystery pony walked up to Eclipse and patted him on the head “Don’t touch me” He growled. The pony chuckled. The pony told us to sit down and listen, but of course Black Eclipse did not want to take orders from some mysterious pony. “I am sorry for bringing you here both instead of the hospital”, Thank Celestia “But this is important because I know who you are Trexx.” My eyes quickly widened in shock. “How do you know me?” I asked the pony. “I don’t even know me!” “I actually don’t know a lot but for some reason you were important for something but I don’t remember mayb-” Eclipse interrupts “Wait what is your name?” The pony looks at Eclipse’s confused daze. “The name is Lantern Life of the great pony army or just Mr. LL if you wish” the pony said with a chuckle. Both Eclipse and I nodded. Mr. LL continued “The reason why I don’t remember is unknown but it maybe has to do something with the dark demons…” Mr. LL was showing how hard he was thinking. Eclipse then stands up to pat the colts skinny back “Wait… why the hell are you so skinny?” Mr. LL looked at Eclipse and returned the pat. “I am actually 89 years old” Eclipse backed away as my jaw dropped. “yep and the reason why I still look young is because of Celestia’s magic”. Finally I spoke up “Listen Mr. LL, me and Eclipse need help figuring out what the hell is going on with the weird monsters..” “You mean the dark demons?” I nod “Well I could actually help you on your journey but poor old me needs to stay safe from the outside world” he looked at me with a confident smile “Trexx… I could help train both you and Eclipse if you want” Eclipse nudged his neck to the right “How? I’m a Pegasus and Trexx is a earth pony, how could we learn magic?” Mr. LL looked at Eclipse with a dying smile “I’ll teach you both… Blackestera Magic” Eclipse looked at Mr. LL with bloodshot angry eyes and screamed out “BLACKESTERA MAGIC IS FORBIDDEN AND SIN MAGIC!” My eyes opened wide “THE MOST EVIL MAGIC IN EQUESTRIA!” Eclipse finished.
