Papillon.

The mane six had chosen today to continue their clean up of the castle of the royal pony sisters. They had also chosen to be in pairs to do separate parts of the castle. The groups being Twilight and Fluttershy, Rainbow and Pinkie and lastly, Applejack and Rarity.

Twilight and Fluttershy walked around the library, looking at what they needed to clean in it. The shelves were all dusty and it was covered in spiders and snakes. Twilight walked passed on of the snakes and leap half a mile in the air, terrified of it. She even had to flap her wings so she didn't fall back down.

''Flutters, animals, get them out of here. First, them snakes...'' said Twilight to her fillyfriend, having a bit of a glaring contest with the snake, which had scared her.

''Alright, Twi. Come on, little guys.'' she called.

The snakes began following her, even the one which had scared Twilight. Once Flutters had clear out all of the spiders and snakes, was when Twilight flow back down. As she landed, she closed her wings and grabbed a feather duster with her magic. She slowly began cleaning the tables, of all the dust which had been laying dormant for 1000 years.

Fluttershy came back in, with a smile full of success. When she saw that Twilight had began work, she picked up a feather dusty and with her mouth, she began dusting the old book shelves which scattered the library.

As she dusty around the books, flapping her wings. Something shimmering caught her eye, she dusted over to it and dusted it off. It was revealed to be a pendent, shaped oddly like a book.

''Twi?''

''What is it, Flutters?''

''Can you come up here?'' Flutters asked.

Twilight blinked in confusion but flew up to Fluttershy.

''What?'' she asked.

''Look.'' Fluttershy grabbed the pendent and showed it to Twilight.

''A pendent?'' asked Twilight.

She gingerly touched the pendent and a light admitted from it. Fluttershy gasped and she dropped the pendent, which continued glowing even after hitting the ground with a thud. Suddenly, the light changed and something began morphing from it.

It looked like a foal!

And that what it became, when the light evaporated. The light vanished into the air, leaving behind a sleeping foal.

The foal appeared to have a light cream coat, much like Fluttershy's. Her mane shimmered as light coming in from the window hit it, showing it to be pink, with a single streak of purple running through it. The filly's eyes though shut, were a violet color. Also, coming out of the filly's mane was a stub, which could clearly be seen as a horn. Same with her back, there were wings. A alicorn foal!

''What...?'' muttered Fluttershy, flying down.

She picked up the baby alicorn, who began crying all of a sudden.

''Shh. It alright.'' she rocked the filly back to sleep.

Twilight also flew down, but with more shock then the basic confusion that Fluttershy felt. A filly, which appeared from the pendent and looked like a fusion between them was pretty weird. She realized something, where was the pendent?

Looking around for it, she heard a clatter and saw the pendent appear below the filly and Fluttershy, but this time with a string attached, meaning it had to be around the filly's neck a second ago.

''I need to do some research...'' mumbled Twilight, before glancing back at Fluttershy.

She blushed at the sight, Fluttershy was letting the foal nurse from her without hesitation.

''Flutters!?''

''Twilight...Be quiet, there's a foal here.'' said Fluttershy, calmly.

''Why are you letting it feed from you though?''

''She was hungry, and it were just instinct.'' said Fluttershy, in reply. She glanced back down at the nursing filly, with a smile.

''I'm gonna research it up, keep her quiet please.''

''Will do.''

Pinkie bounced through the massive corridors of the underground of the castle, they had been told to clean up the armory and the corridors. Rainbow walked behind her, looking around for dust.

''Hey, Dashie! Isn't this exciting?!''

''A bit, but come on, I don't want Twi on my back for not doing the work.''

''Don't you mean 'Pinkie' not 'Twi'?'' asked Pinkie, obviously not understanding what Rainbow meant.

''Ugh...''

''Hey, Dashie. Are rain droplets meant to be inside?''

''Droplets? Pinkie Pie, are you that...''

''But look!'' Pinkie cut her off, to show her what appeared to be a rain droplet pendent and even shoved it into Rainbow's hoof causing it to glow as the two mares touched it at the same time.

''Ah!'' yelled Pinkie, running off leaving Rainbow alone.

''Pinkie!'' yelled Rainbow.

Her eyes shifted from the dark corridor to the glowing thing on the floor. The light had morphed into a small foal which stopped glowing shortly after Rainbow spotted it.

The light left behind a cyan pegasus filly, wearing the raindrop pendent around her neck. The filly also appeared to have Pinkie's fluffy pink mane and blue eyes which added to the fact that she was giggling at the sight of the shocked Rainbow. On the filly's left hoof was a marking of a raindrop.

''Okay, random foal appearing from a light that erupted from a pendent...''

''DASHIE!'' came a yell. It was Pinkie, and it sounded sad and confused.

''Pinkie, where?''

Rainbow picked up the foal, almost instinctively but mostly cause she couldn't leave a filly alone, even if it was a bit weird. She ran through the corridor, trying to pinpoint where she had heard Pinkie's voice come from.

She passed a room, which contained the mare, causing her to backtrack and walk into the room. Pinkie was sat on the floor, crying as her mane was deflected. Clearly, she had gotten herself lost and was now worried.

''Pinkie?''

''Dashie?!'' cried Pinkie, turning around.

She latched herself onto Rainbow, crying out loud. She never even noticed the filly, which was sat on Rainbow's back.

''Shh, its alright, Pinkie. I'm here, cheer up.''

Rainbow mainly didn't wanna have to go through what she went through at Pinkie's surprise party. But to her relief, Pinkie's here poof back to normal pretty quickly but then Pinkie noticed the filly.

''I didn't know you were a mama, Dashie. And I wanted your first foal.'' She cried again but this time without deflection.

''No, I'm not a mama. I think this foal came from that pendent, see she's wearing it.''

Rainbow showed Pinkie, who nodded.

''I have a theory, though I need Twi to confirm it, I think when we touched it, our genes merged and created this foal. See she's a pegasus like me but has your hyperactivity.''

''You mean, I'm the co-parent of your first foal?''

''I would suppose but we need to find Twilight, and plus, even though this runt is giggling, I don't think we wanna be down here much longer.''

Pinkie nodded, and they made their way towards the staircase which led back to the main floor of the castle.

''Applejack!'' yelled Rarity.

She and Applejack had been chosen to clean the musical room, and to wipe the dust off of the instrument much to Rarity's displeasure. Applejack groaned and turned to face the marshmallow unicorn.

''What is it now, drama queen?'' asked Applejack, annoyed.

''Look, a pendent, prefect for my collection.'' said Rarity, before realizing what AJ had called her. ''I'm not a drama queen!''

''Is that it? And couldn't have fooled me. Now give it over, it's useless.''

Applejack reached out for the pendent, which was shaped like a musical note but the moment that both the mares were touching the pendent, it began shimmering and glowing, much like the ones before it. But unlike the others, not one foal was born.

No twins, though they were fraternal twins. One of the twins, the unicorn of the pair, had a orange coat with a long bluish-purple mane like Rarity's, though hers was more purple. She also had the apple family green eye color. While her twin, the earth pony, had a marshmallow white coat with a long, beautiful blonde mane and light blue eyes. Both of them were wearing almost identical pendents, though the earth pony had a double note while the unicorn had a single note.

''What, foals!?'' yelled the pair, only to glared at each other when they realized they had spoken in unison.

''I have a idea. We have to talk to Twi about this.''

''Good idea, though we have to carry them. Who takes who?''

''*Sign* I will take the unicorn, you take the earth pony.''

''Fine.''

The pair picked up the respective foal and walked out of the music room and towards the door to the library.

The groups met up in the library. Twilight was still searching through the books for one related to her pendent. A shrill cry came from around Fluttershy.

''Flutters, I told you to keep Bookworm quiet.''

''Bookworm, shh shh. It's alright.''

The couple had named their foal Bookworm due to the fact that she was born from a book pendent, which was now around the filly's neck again. Pinkie and Rainbow with their foal and Rarity and Applejack with the twins walked in and saw them.

''Looks like we're not the only one.'' said Fluttershy, looking at her flying fillyfriend.

''Yeah, and I think I found what I was looking for.'' yelled Twilight.

Twilight flew down with a book by the name of 'papillon' in her magic. She couldn't figure out why is was called the french word for butterfly but it didn't matter to much, it had information on the pendents.

The group of 7, which had walked in came over and showed Twilight, the three pendents that they had. Of course, two were formerly one.

''Well girls, it says here that there were once 3 pendents owned by 3 powerful ponies. The mares were earth, unicorn and pegasus respectfully. There pendents controlled a certain power. The earth pony's pendent, a musical note, could turn into any instrument at any time. The unicorn's pendent, a book, like mine and Fluttershy's, could make any book in the world appear in her hooves. And lastly, the pegasus's pendent was a raindrop, and it allowed her to create rain at any time it was needed. These mares were known as Papillon. And though there isn't much evidence, I believe that Bookworm here, and your foals are the reincarnation of the Papillon.''

''Uh, Twi. But there is four, the twins's pendents used to be one but it shaped itself into two.'' asked Applejack.

''Maybe because, Bookworm is a alicorn, it needed to keep a balance between the pony types. There wasn't any alicorns back then, it says as it was before Princess Celestia's and Luna's birth.'' Twilight explained.

''Oh yea, you called your filly, Bookworm? Sounds just like you, Twi.'' said Rainbow, with a smile to show that she wasn't being mean.

''Her pendent is the unicorn's book pendent so Bookworm made sense to me. What are you gonna name yours?''

There was crying heard again, but this time not from Bookworm but from the young unicorn.

''Ah, the earth pony hit her.'' said Rarity, looking worriedly at the young filly.

Rarity picked up the unicorn and slowly rocked her to calm her down.

''So what's the twins names gonna be?''

''Well, the unicorn could be named Melody, while this little one here could be called Harmony.''

''And how about we name ours, Pinkie Pie. Confetti Rain?''

''Confetti Rain! Confetti Rain! No, Rainy!'' yelled Pinkie, bouncing up and down.

''So Melody, Harmony and Confetti 'Rainy' Rain.'' asked Twilight.

''Yep.'' came the replies.

Twilight smiled, and with that everypony took their leave to start their new lives, starting with moving in of course.
