Brother of him

"Discord? Discord!?". Malicar runs through the woods trying to find his little brother. This wasn't the first time that Discord had run away due to people calling him a freak, they do the same thing to Malicar whenever he's around him.

Malicar didn't care as Discord was his brother and he promised to protect him no matter what. He wasn't going tp abandon him all because some kids called them freaks. In truth those kids and the kids' parents were afraid of them for what they could do. Their magic is more powerful than anyone could ever imagine, heck so powerful someone very important is coming to meet them.

"Discord... where are you?". Malicar has searched so far all the places that were considered his hiding places. The last place to find him was in a tree, but not just any tree as this tree is special.

It was just a seed before he grew into a full grown tree, a seed that Discord planted many years ago when he was just the age of five. Back then the kid was way to young to ever understand the reason for planting the seed but in time it became beautiful. Well Malicar had to change the weathering a little to make it grow bigger. What he was looking at now was the tree itself as it stood almost 20-feet tall.

"Discord?".

"What?". Malicar smiles upon his reply. "What do you want?".

"Come on, bro, I know it hurts, but you don't have to listen to them. In just a few days we'll be out of here".

"What if this is a trick?".

Malicar's eyes blink twice. "You mean what if this Star Swirl the Bearded guy is a fake?". Discord nods. "I think he's legit as he had a letter made from gold". He takes out the letter and smash it against the tree hearing a 'click' sound.

"Okay, maybe he's not a fake, but still why would he have an interest in me?".

Malicar climbs up the tree and sat on the brance that Discord was on. "Because he sees something in you that could very well change the world. People are afraid of change, but maybe change is what they need as change sets people free".

Discord looks up. "I can see that". Was all he said as his response.

Rubbing his tiny hair. "Okay, Dis, lets head back home".

[Present]

Luna's scream continued to erupt the ears of everyone almost like they were going to bleed. Some of the guards even ran away from her screaming while some fell down from ear bleed. Finally the one person who decided to do something was Discord with just the snap of his fingers Luna's mouth became a closed zipper.

"Finally, that was ruining the moment". Discord then face his brother. "So where were we... ah, that's right.... BROTHER!". The two hug once more before departing.

"How have you've been?". Malicar puts on a smile.

"Good, but what about you? I thought you were dead".

"Me? Dead? Don't be ridiculous"

Discord had a look of confusion. "What are you talking about? Don't you remember what happened? The collasping building?".

Malicar just looks at him. "Nope. Nothing, maybe it was in your mind".

Discord puts a finger to his chin. "No, because my mind usually have ideas for new pranks-"

"Ah-hm". Celestia fake cough in her hand getting the two to look at her. "Okay... Discord this is your brother?".

"Oh yes he is!". He puts his left arm around Malicar's shoulders.

"You never told us that you had a brother".

His face turned sad something Malicar notice. "I was away". Discord looks up with confusion. "On business making sure everything is in shape". Celestia and Discord left up their brows, Luna on the other hand was trying to get the zipper off her mouth.

""Well then it's great to meet you, though by the look of you, you don't at all look like Discord".

The brothers looks at one another. "Yeah, the last time I saw you, you had fair skin, but now your like a ghost, look at your skin!".

Malicar only chuckles. "It has been years".

"What is that suppose to me? In fact that doesn't even make since as to how your here after all these years".

"I'll tell you soon, brother, but right now I got to rest, my head is hurting".

"I'll show you to the guest room". Celestia looks at Luna. "Discord...". Sighing Discord snaps his fingers and the zipper disappears.

"Finally...". Luna says.

"Come sister and let's show our guest here his room".Celestai leads them on back inside the castle.

Once inside Malicar looks around the place and was amazed by how it looks. Th marble walls looks fantastic and the paintings that were hung that represented the two sisters and their family.

"Interesting place you got here". Malicar says.

"Thank you, it took sometime to build it". Celestia says.

"Oh? Why was that?". Malicar got a look from Discord with a 'You know why' though Malicar ignores him. "Why was something like this took so long as I remembered you had a castle previously, right?". His smile gotten wider.

The sisters felt a little uneasy by the questioning especially when it's about what happened to their old castle. "Malicar, I know you just arrived here, but you still got a lot of unanswered questions". Luna says.

"I understand and I'll answer them, but as of right now I really need to sleep". He then lets out a yawn.

They head upstairs and down the left side hall and stops in front of a door. "This is your room. When you get all rested we'll be in the-".

"Game room". Discord got a look from Luna, but a cheerful smile from Celestia.

"Yes, the game room, so rest up".

"Will do". Malicar went inside and closes the door.

"Well... that was something". Celestia says rubbing the back of her neck.

"Where does he have the nerves to ask us about what happened to the last castle, everyone knows what happened". Luna steam then looks to Discord. "And you! How dare you replace my mouth with a zipper!".

"Well you shouldn't have yelled".

"I agree sister, I too was shocked, but that doesn't mean you have to yell like that".

Luna pouted her arms folded. "Whatever".

Celestia goes to change the subject. "I better go see if a letter from Twilight came in, the earthquake must have reached Humanville as well".

"You'll meet me in the Game room kicking Luna's butt in Mortal Kombat". Discord says with pride.

"You'll meet US in the Game room where you'll see me kicking DISCORD'S ASS in Mortal Kombat". Luna got in Discord's face as they squared off.

Celestia did was just shrug her shoulders and headed towards her room. She step on pieces of glass from the quack accident... or was it more? Where did Malicar come from? Why hadn't Discord mention him before? And when said he thought he was dead, what did he mean by that? She hopes that she gets some answers soon or else Luna would go crazy and do it herself. That would always lead to some form of torture that doesn't end well. She reach her room, the door slightly opened just the way she left it. Inside even her windows were shattered leaving glass everywhere on the floor.

She got to remember to bring the cleaning crew in her. She spotted a letter on her stand where she always received letters from, but before she could read it she spotted her mirror still intact. She puts a hand on it and felt no crack from it and not a scratch to be seen. "Odd. How come you weren't shattered as well?".

Dear Princess Celestia,

There was an earthquake in Humanville and were wondering did it happen there too. The animals are frighten, but more frighten then ever. Is this a normal earthquake? Because something seems wrong as only mirrors and windows seems broken by this. Me and my friends are helping to calm people down.

"I better write her now to insure her that nothing is... to... uh...". Celestia's stomach immediately started to ach, and she feels like she was about to... throw-up... bubbles? "What the hell?". She pop one.

[Humanville]

"Finally, I'd thought people would never calm down". Applejack rested on a nearby bench.

Rarity rested by her a hat being used as a fan. "I'm too tired".

"All you did was go back to your shop and put on a new dress". She looks at the white dress purple heels that Rarity had on.

"Yeah, but do you have any idea how long it takes to find a dress suited for this situation?".

Rainbow Dash lifts a brow. "What are you talking about?".

"Girls!". Twilight got their attention. "Focus".

"On what, Twilight?". Fluttershy ask.

"On Celestia's reply".

"It's been an hour now and we still haven't gotten a single word from her". Rainbow says.

"She's probably okay, maybe just helping people who were probably hurt during the quake". Pinkie Pie says and that seems to calm everyone down. "Or maybe she got hurt and so did the people. Or maybe a monster came out of the ground and started attacking people and killing them, and Luna was probably eaten by it-".

"Pinkie...". Applejack tries to stop her, but Pinkie wasn't the type of person to just stop instantly.

"Discord was probably eaten too, or maybe he got under control and murdered everyone in that castle-".

"Pinkie!". Everyone yells.

"Too much...?".

"Yes".

"Sorry, but being serious I'm sure she's fine with little injury".

Twilight sigh. "Thanks Pinkie... I guess". Pinkie just smiled.

"Yeah, Celestia is probably ok...". Spike burp out a letter.

"There it is!". Twilight snatch it away from him and opened it up.

Dear Twilight,

Everything is fine as the earthquake... well I'm still not sure what caused it, but I may know who. Someone who claims to be Discord's brother came by... unannounced and the two hugged. Right now he's a sleep, but will be getting some answers from him when he wakes. Tell everyone this and will write you back.

Princess Celestia

"So what did she say?". Rainbow ask.

"I-I... everything is ok". She tells the towns people who cheers and then turns back to her friends. "Your not going to believe this, but Discord has a brother!".

"What!". Everyone shouted their yelling attracted the attention of the townspeople.

"This is a surprise... I didn't know he had a brother". Rarity says.

"He arrived unannounced and is currently a sleep at the castle. Celestia will be asking him some questions when he gets up".

"You think he'll stop by Humanville?". Pinkie ask. "Because I would love to throw him a party if he does".

"Pinkie... doesn't his sudden appearance make you think that's odd?". Rarity ask.

Pinkie shook her head. "Now you can't think that way. Whenever something happens you always blame it on the person who just arrived". Pinkie had an almost serious attitude.

"I never did such a thing". Rarity defended herself on the matter.

"I know, but Dash did". Pinkie pointed a finger at Rainbow Dash.

"When?". Dash ask her brows raised in a tone.

"When Twilight first came to Humanville and Celestia suddently disappeared, you thought that Twilight had something to do with it". Pinkie got in her face. "Am I right?".

"She has a point". Applejack says.

"That's because I didn't know her back then! She was a weirdo, an egghead who was talking about stuff that made no sense... no offence".

"No problem... I guess". Twilight says trying to ignore what she just said.

"So what do we say about his brother?". Spike ask.

The girls looks at one another then Twilight spoke. "I don't know, I don't want to judge someone without getting a reason from them yet". Twilight closes her eyes thinking on what to do then she opens them. "We need to go to Chanterlot".

"Ah agree". Applejack says. "We need to make sure this fella is truly not responsible".

"I guess I could go, but first let me pack something first, I want to look spectacular when we arrive at the castle". Before Applejack could and say something that what she was doing was stupid, Rarity was already gone.

"Me too, we all are going to need a snack for the ride". Pinkie heads to Sugar Cube Corner.

Twilight looks at the four remaining people. "Anyone else?".

Fluttershy rubs the back of her head. "I got to go feed Angel or he'll gets grouchy and... starve". Twilight slaps her forehead.

[Chanterlot three hours later]

"FINISH HIM!". Scorpion stabs Sub-Zero and puts a chain around his neck before kicking him through a portal where he pops out above him a skeleton.

"I win!". Luna jumps up.

"Feathers. Will. Fly!". Discord angrily throws the controller at the wall.

"Hey! I know it sucks to lose, but that does not give you the right to throw my controller".

"You cheated".

"You can't cheat in Mortal Kombat".

"Yes you can!".

"No you can't".

"Yes you can!".

"No you can't".

"Please!". Celestia stood at the door rubbing her temples. "What is with the yelling?".

The two points to one another. "He/She started it!".

Sighing as she sat down on the beanbag. "Are you okay?". Luna ask.

"Yeah, you look like you ate one of Luna's cookings". Discord was struck by a beanbag.

"I just don't feel so well...".

"You look kinda green". Discord says getting a bit closer. "Like really green".

"Green? She looks like she's lighting up". Luna too got closer.

"Please, don-". Celestia blew bubbles.

"...Bubbles. Why in Equestria did you blow bubbles?". Luna ask.

"Um... Luna could you leave the room for a sec?".

"Okay, now things is defiantly not right, what is going on?". Luna puts her hands on her hips.

Celestia puts a hand on her forehead sighing. "Luna... I beg you that what I'm about to tell you two real shock you...".

"How shocking could it be? But is it Luna's cooking? Has it gotten better?".

"I'll kill you!".

"Not right now!". Celestia stops Luna in her tracks of choking Discord. "And look". She showed them a purple stick.

"What is that? A dip?". Discord got a smack to the back of the head from Luna.

"Idiot, it's a pregnancy test... wait, are you preg-". Luna got her mouth cover by Celestia's hands.

"Don't it out loud".

"So you! Who is the father?". Silence came in the room, Celestai took the stick turned around and look at it. Meanwhile Discord was in the corner wiping his eyes with tissues. "No... please don't tell me... please, I beg of you sister.... don't tell me it's...".

A blush appeared on her face. "Are you crying, Discord?".

"Only a little!". He rip the tissue with his mouth.

A loud thud came and the two looks to the floor of a unconscious Luna.

Down the hall from where they were an evil aura centered within the room that Malicar was in. The room was dark with nothing, but an aura that was unlike anything ever seen before. On the ceiling was an hundred eyes of red that stare down, and the floor was slimy with a smell of dead corpses. On the bed was Malicar, whose hair was messy and he was looking on the ground, his eyes were full black and he was mumbling something.

"Sir?". He stops mumbling his eyes turning back to purple.

"Y-Yes? What is it?". He was not in the mood to be interrupted.

"The princess ask me to know if you need anything".

"I'm fine".

"Okay, but still if you need anything-"

"I said I'm fine!". He heard her leave. "I hate this place".

*And yet your here*

"You know why I'm here". Two arms appears around him from behind that are connected to the shadows of the walls.

*Oh, I know, but does your brother?*

"He's completely doesn't know, but what does it matter? We both want the same goal".

*Does he?*

"What is that suppose to mean?".

*How long has it taken for you to return? And how long has he been here with the princess'? He lost his way on the mission*

"He has not"

*But if he did?*

"Then I would remind him on what happened at the castle, and what he took from him".

*Lets hope your right*. The arms detach and went into the wall. The shadows, eyes, and slime going away as well.

[Back the three]

Once Luna awakened her yelling increased more than usual, Celestia had no choice, but to put up a field where no one could hear them. Her yelling went on for quit some time, and when finally done she went back to playing video games with Discord. The game they were playing was Call of Duty: Advance Warfare.

"Booya! What happened Luna? I thought you were good at this?".

Luna smashes her controller on the ground. "Why the hell am I playing video games with you?! You have been doing my sister!". Just the words flying out of her mouth almost made her sick just thinking about it. "Oh, god... I think I'm gonna be sick".

Celestia was on a beanbag just looking at the pregnancy and waited on Luna to say something else. "It's not so bad, I was waiting to tell you, but I didn't know when was the time to. I guest this counts". She giddied.

"I'm quit happy that it's out". Discord says with a smug look something that infuriated Luna.

"Do you two have any idea what people will say? A princess and a man who creates chaos among the people for fun is have a child. The scandal it will bring".

"Hey, I don't care and neither does she". Discord puts an arm around his woman and kissed her on the cheeks which got Luna really throwing up.

"It's not gross, Luna!". Celestia yells.

"Speak for yourself! Sweet Equstria... what will happen next?".

"Look Luna, you may think of me as some guy who creates chaos for fun, and you are right". Discord had pride in his voice. "I live to create chaos, but now I don't know... the reason for it was because of my brother's death, but seeing as he is alive I'm thinking of stopping once and for all. In fact I got a surprise to show you". Discord dugs into his pocket, a sudden sound of tapping against a field made him retreat.

Tapping against the field Malicar waited for someone to take it down. "Finally, we can get some answers". Celestia's hands glow yellow and in an instant the field was down.

"Was I interrupting something?". Malicar ask plainly.

"Not at all". Discord says though he had a little disappointment in his voice as the moment was ruined. "We were actually waiting on you, if you remember".

"I remember, and I remember that I was going to answer any of your questions". He took a seat in a bean bag that was in a shape of a football. "Alright... who wants to begin first?".

"Where did you go!?". Discord shouted out. "I mean the last time we seen one another was at Star Swirl's and after what happened I thought you were dead".

Malicar smiled. "Yes... after the incident I was at a weak state, so in order to get my body back in shape I needed to go for a while".

"Wait, you let me bury you alive?".

"...My body was paralyzed and I couldn't talk nor make a whisper".

"How long did it take for you to return back?".

"I'm here, aren't I?".

"It took you nineteen years for you to get yourself together?".

"I did use a lot of magic".

"What are you two talking about?". Luna was getting tired of listening to the two when she doesn't even know what's going on. "What does Star Swirl have to do with this?".

"He was my old teacher". Discord declared.

"Your teacher? He never mention a student before". Celestia says.

"Well he didn't live long enough to tell anyone". Discord says, then thought that what he just said will now bring up more questions about his past.

"Discord... did you...". Celestia waited for an answer.

"I didn't". He said with a serious tone.

"It was me". Malicar says. "What I can tell you is this. Star Swirl used dark magic and we stopped him". Discord looks to him, but had no choice, but to go along with this lie.

"Yes... we stopped him from releasing a demon upon the world". He was comfortable with this lying when he knows what really happened.

"Star Swirl has always been a teacher of understanding, and not one who would just use dark magic. Why all of a sudden would he go and use dark magic?". Celestia says.

"I don't know what to tell you". Malicar says his fingers being entangled. "Some people fall because they believe they can do anything".

"I see... history said that he died outside his house where all his possessions were burned inside. Did you had anything to do with it?".

"Discord had no choice. Imagine the world where demons would run amok taking control of people's bodies and doing whatever they wanted".

"That may be... but Discord why haven't you said anything about this? There have been people for years who wanted to know about the cause of Star Swirls' death". Celestia looks at him for an answer.

"Don't you remember who I was back then? If I have gone to tell someone about this the blame would just be on me. No one would believe that I was Star Swirl was my teacher and I his student". For the first time Discord actually sounded serious.

Luna puts a finger to her chin. "I would be surprise, but now that I'm hearing it, why would Star Swirl make you his student? You don't have the magic like us".

Discord didn't say anything this time, but they could see the hurt in his eyes almost like something was taken from him. "I-I don't want to talk about it...".

Malicar change the subject knowing what happened to his was awful. "Princess Luna. You seem ready to ask some questions".

"What? Oh, um... how did you get in here? And were you responsible for the quake?".

"The quake was not my doing, though I do know who".

"Who?!". Luna got angry almost like fire would come out. "If you know who is responsible then tell us".

"A woman known as Olan, she lives in a small village known as Huntess".

"I heard of that, well actually I used to pull small pranks there when I was small... you of course remember, Malicar, you used to get me away from trouble". Discord was back to his normal self. "Isn't that near Manhattan?".

"Yes. Olan is a powerful woman who uses magic like no other".

"What do you mean? What kind of magic?".

"Blood magic".

"Blood magic!". Celestia gasp. "Blood magic is forbidden in Equestria since the Ark wars".

"Well, she obviously didn't get the message".

"Stop playing games, why is she using blood magic and how do you know this?". Luna demanded.

"I ran into her a few times, she has something that will threaten the world itself if she isn't stopped".

"What does she have?". Celestia ask.

"It's an orb that has the souls of the dead inside, she has been collected them for centuries and is planning on drinking them. I faced her off, but I was wounded when she hit the quake move. I had to get away and so I used the bit of my magic left to escape hoping to warn you".

Luna didn't buy it. "If that's true then why didn't you tell us this when you arrived three hours ago this seems to be most important".

"I could have, but I wanted to get my strength back, so that I could go back out there and try again".

*Wait, what are you getting at?*

"Try again, but you barely escaped, you shouldn't go back".

"But I have to for the faith of Equestria rest on my shoulders".

*The heroic act nice*

"Maybe we could send some of our soldiers to help".

Luna pulls her sister aside. "Are you sure that is wise? We still don't know about him".

"Luna, he just said that Olan is going to suck the souls and take over the world wouldn't you led a hand to help?".

Sighing. "Yeah... fine. Okay Malicar we will send you our soldiers".

"That's all I wanted to hear. We could leave by tomorrow morning".

*I'm not really a morning person".

'Your not even a person. Not anymore'. Malicar thought.

*Whatever...*.

"How long will you be gone?". Discord ask. "Because you can't jus up and leave after just returning back... what if I come along?". Celestia wanted to object to that, but thought that it wasn't her business... or was it?

Malicar smiles. "It would be great to team up like the old days, but this woman is more dangerous than any other being, I am the only one who knows how to fight her". He puts a hand on his brother's shoulder. "I'll be back soon. In the mean time get back to what you were doing... kicking Luna's ass on that Call of Duty game".

Discord flash a smile at Luna. "You ready for a rematch?".

"You know I am". Luna goes and digs another controller replacing the one she broke.

"You wanna play too?". Discord ask Malicar.

"It's been some time since we played a video game together, I might be a little rusty".

"Don't worry, it's not hard to get right into the game". Discord pass Malicar a controller.

"Then let it begin".

*Man, it's been a long time since I also played a video game, I remember kicking everyone's asses, just before I slaughtered them".

'Did you really have to say that now?'

*Just saying. That's how I play video games*

[Train]

"And that's how I managed to get a sponsor". Rainbow Dash was telling the others how she had to impress a lot of people to get a sponsor for the Wonderbolts. Rainbow Dash had been accepted into the Wonderbolts about three months ago and had been getting more fans because of it. But she has also been nonstop bragging about it since.

Rarity was drinking her tea trying hard to ignore the same old tale from her friend. "Can you please stop telling us that, please?".

"Yeah, we heard it about a thousand times now". Applejack says. "And I'm getting tired of it".

"Fluttershy, could you please tell your girlfriend to stop telling the same old boring story?". Rarity sk.

"Boring?! What's so boring about it?".

"Um, Dashie, you do keep telling the same old over and over. We're getting tired of hearing it". Fluttershy says.

"Yeah, your right. I gotta come up with new stories".

"I'm too busy enjoying these delicious cookies to know what you guys are saying!". Spike stuff a hand full into his mouth.

"Dear, Spike please wipe your mouth". Rarity says.

"I wonder what Discord's brother looks like". Fluttershy says.

"By the looks of Discord himself, I'm guessing he probably has long hair that goes down to his legs, a ridiculous clown outfit, and big eyes like a bugs". Rainbow puts an arm around Fluttershy.

"Thank you for... that disturbing image, Dashie".

"I'm just messing with you. Honestly, I wonder that too".

"Maybe he looks like Discord, but a much older version of Discord". Pinkie says.

"So... what I said before was true?". Everyone laughs.

Twilight looks out the window seeing the sun go down, suddenly someone grab on to her left arm. They hung on to her. "Sorry, but after the party, and the making sure everyone wasn't hurt, and the packing, I'm just a little sleepy, and your arm makes for a great pillow".

Twilight smiled the embrace of Pinkie actually felt good. "Of course I was beginning to fall a sleep also".

Smile. "Thanks". Closing her eyes a snore came from Pinkie.

Twilight blush as she watch Pinkie snore like a soft kitten, her head resting on her arm. She rest her own head on Pinkie's soft puffy hair.

Author: Alright everyone third chapter will be coming in shortly and thing gets intense as fight scenes will be coming in. What is Malicar's plan and who is talking to him that he can only hear. Who is this Olan person? What is she planning with those souls?
