Pinkie Pie Meets Applejack

I've never been so excited in my whole life, at least since I got my cutiemark and my family smiled for the first time ever! I'm moving to Ponyville, and I've never been there before. Actually, I've never been to anywhere. But that's what makes this exciting!

My family hugged me an hour ago, before I left. I was on the train now. I've never been around so many ponies before, especially other fillies. What an adventure! I looked out the window, wishing I was on the roof so the wind could blow at me. The first thing I'll do is make somepony laugh; that was my specialty: making others smile and cry out in laughter.

"Um, excuse me," I heard. I looked behind me, and saw a blonde Earth filly.

"Oh, sure," I said, moving out of the way. "I'm Pinkie Pie. What's yours? It's actually Pinkamena Diane Pie, but I'm called Pinkie or Pinkie Pie. But you can call me either. Oooh, are you an Apple pony?"

"Uh, yeah," the filly told me. "I'm Applejack."

I laughed. "Nice! Oooh; Apple family and Pie family, equals 'apple pie.'" Then I gasped. "Where are you going?"

"I'm heading back to Sweet Apple Acres, in Ponyville. It's my home."

I giggled; everything is applelicious in the Apple family.

"I'm going there too; I'm moving there!" I said.

"With just that?" Applejack pointed at my bag.

"Yup! I'm a super-duper baker and fantastic candy-maker; I'll be running a business in no time."

"Eh, it doesn't work that way. Do you have a home, or have the money to build or pay for a shop? There's only a cake shop in Ponyville."

Applejack had a point there, but a cake shop...only?! Ponyville needs me bad!!

"Aww...hmm, perhaps you could help me and I can help you. I'll make a 'Sugar Apple Chocolate Pie with Caramel and Frosting' pie!"

"Say what now?"

"I'll live with you for awhile, make awesome pies and candy, and host a party at the park where it'll sell–"

"Whoa, what? That takes weeks!"

"To plan? I don't plan." Wow, she really doesn't know me. We're gonna be besties!

"Uh..."

"You'll see!"
