"But when is it gonna get here? Ah've tried everything from hang gliden tuh mountain climben'!" Apple Bloom whined to her older sister. "Now Apple Bloom, Ah've told ya before; things this special take time, ya just can't rush'm girl." Applejack explained to her puppy dog eyed sister. Applejack gave her a hard stare and Apple Bloom trotted away, defeated. "Ah just don't understand...Ah've done everything there is tuh do, and ah still don't have mah cutie mark!" Apple Bloom whined to herself. "Apple Bloom! Wait up!" Sweetie Belle called from further behind her, Scootaloo scampering after the white unicorn filly as she struggled to use her wings again. "Oh, howdy, gals! What're you two uhp tuh tuhday?" Apple Bloom questioned, slightly cheered by the sight of her two BPFFs. "We're gonna try jump roping again; you wanna come?" Scootaloo said in between pants. Apple Bloom turned and lowered her head. "Oh, uh...Ah'd love tuh, but ahm awfully busy on the farm 'n' all..." she lied, her hope in earning her cutie mark completely obliterated. "What do you mean? Apple Bucking season's over and all the new seeds are planted for spring. What more is there to do?" Sweetie Belle asked, worried and confused by her friend's actions. "Yea, what gives? Usually you're the one to come up with ideas for us to get our cutie marks." Scootaloo added. Apple Bloom backed away, the look of a cornered rat in her eyes as she struggled to figure out what to say next. "Ah...Ah just...Ah don't wanna get mah cutie mark anymore..." She said quietly. Her blunt words struck her friends like a hammer, stunning them as their faces lit up in shock. "B-But why? What happened?" Sweetie Belle began quietly. Apple Bloom dragged her hoof across the ground and kept her head down. "We've tried everything, girls, and we still don't have our cutie marks...Don't your ever think that we're just not meahnt tuh get our cutie marks? --LEFT OFF, CHAPTER NOT COMPLETED--
