Equestria was not the first realm the God-Princesses ruled. Long before its creation there was Cydonia, a once peacefull land that fell to the horrors of wars as Celestia and Luna decided to leave in defeat. Millenias later, Silverwing, a denizen of the scorched old continent is transported to Equestria, disrupting the foundations of its history by revealing to Twilight the truth about his home. While the both of them try to fight their inner conflicts, a bigger treath looms over the peacefull land.

NOTES - I don't like the lack of nuance in those tags. The story is certainly not heavy dark stuff, just slightly more teen-rated subjects. It also contains some romance but although its instrumental to the plot, its not the focus at all. The short chapters labelled (opt.) relate the end of the Princesses ruling of Cydonia and the beginning of Equestria. They are put there as optional reading and not strictly tied to the main story. I'm writing them to shape the backstory and flesh out Celestia a bit more. The tone being slightly more grim than the rest of the story, feel free to ignore them if you prefer.
