The King of Storms
The Journey Begins - Part one of Two

That word haunted my every waking moment.
Discord.
The word that terrified me, the word that had killed my species.
Discord.
The word that kept me moving.
I had to kill him. I had to. It was as simple as that, I had to kill him. But he was too strong for me to handle. It would take an army, strong enough to surpass that of two alicorn gods and a drakon king, and rival that of an army of gods.
I didn't have the knowledge required to kill him. I didn't have the power.
But I did have the want. The want to get that knowledge. The want to get that power. The want, to kill Discord.
No, killing him would be too good for him - He deserved to suffer. I would bound him in chains, and make him watch as I burned his race to the ground. I would break his bones, again and again, torturing him for thousands of years until he begged me to kill him. I would rip him apart, limb from limb and watch the light fade from his eyes. But before that, I would keep him in those chains until they were fused to his flesh - Then rip them off. He would scream as I tortured him, using my magic to make his life a living hell.
So I needed knowledge, and I needed power. There were ten spell casting races that I knew of, Griffins, Centaurs, Dragons, Alicorns, Ponies, Draconequui, Wolves, Daemons, and Gods. I was the last drakon, and there was no hope of finding or convincing a Titan to help me, so those were my options. I had my one request from Discord, but I would save that. Who knew what monster's I would find?
Now, each race was specialized. So what kind of magic did I want?
Survival magic. Healing magic. Combat magic. Order magic. Defense magic.
So that meant I needed to see Wolves, Daemons, Ponies, and Dragons. The dragons were close allies of the drakons, so they would be most helpful. The ponies fear Drakons, so they wouldn't be much help, but If I could convince them... The Daemons guarded their knowledge closely, so I really doubt they would help me, but I would try. The Wolves respect Drakons. The Dragons that could help me were all asleep, and very far away. Now, where did Discord place me? I remembered I had a map spell. I called upon my magic, forming the twenty-eight krals necessary for the spell. It was hard work, taking up around half an hour, or maybe a few seconds. When you're performing the most beautiful and terrible thing to ever exist, time crawls or flies as it wills.
A dark purple map appeared in front of me. Now, lets see...
"Aha!" I shouted. I was in the Grisilne mountains, so I was still in Alicornia. The closest to me were...The ponies.
I gulped. Ponies were terrified of Drakon's, and vice versa. The King of all Ponies, King Arbmos, was said to have a spell that could control any living being. But I needed their knowledge. I guessed that Castle Polaris was about 28 kilometers away. I spread my wings and took off into the air.
So what would happen when I got there? I wouldn't fight if they attacked, but simply state my request. They'd probably see me before that though,
My thoughts began to wander, and about 13 kilometers through the trip I was met with a large grumbling in my stomach. I realized that I hadn't accounted for food during my quest to kill Discord. Where would I get food? I searched the landscape for obvious spots of food. I had been searching for half a minute when I saw it - An eeline pod.
An eeline pod was a small lake (1) that had water that amplified magic. However, if you used a sound spell while under the effects of an eeline pod, an eeline would come out. They were four times my size. They looked rather like eels with horns. (2) I didn't know a sound spell, but I knew how to amplify my voice with magic.
I reached out with magical energy towards the water. Once the water lit up with a white glow, It had been linked. I then reached out to the air-ea (3) in front of my mouth. I roared, and with the water amplifying sent pieces of ground flying into the air. I unlinked my magic and watched in awe as a huge eeline slivered out of the eeline pod. I looked into the pod quickly. It was small, too small to reach up to my tail - How could an eeline fit in there?
As I pondered this, the eeline fully slivered out of the pod. It roared, and snaked around me quickly. A horn prodded in my side as constrictive force began to envelop me. I tried to use magic, but the eeline's tail wrapped around my horns. The eeline's horn lit up, and the magical water began to flow into my mouth. I tried to spit it out but the magic forced my mouth open. The eeline was choking me to death! I couldn't use magic, and the eeline was stronger than me.
Was this the end? Was this my death?
No. I wouldn't let it. I COULDNT let it. I called on my magic, but didn't focus it through my horn. My entire body would be the magic conductor. My magic exploded out of me in every direction, and the eeline was sent flying, half of it's body burning. I choked and gasped for air as the water stopped. I flew into the air with what little strength I had, and breathed a great stream of fire. The eeline's face was set on fire, and my strength was drained. I was sent flying to the ground, crashing into the eeline. The eeline writhed in pain, and with the last iota of my strength, I bit into it and killed it. I gasped and fell down, on my back in pain. I cast the simplest spell of the entire medical branch - A diagnostic spell. It was only three krals, and thanks to hours upon hours upon hours of casting it, I formed the three krals effortlessly.
According to the spell, there was a deep horn wound just above my hip. Four of my thirty six ribs were broken. My wing was splintered, I wouldn't be flying for a while.
I was lying there on the ground for...Bellum knows how long. It might have been minutes. Might have been hours. Might have been days. All I know, is that every moment was agony. I waited, and waited, and waited for my magic to regenerate.
When it finally did, I used what little healing magic I knew to fix my bones. The feeling of relief washed through me like water flowing over a burn. However, my magic wasn't advanced enough to heal my wing. I could form the bones again, but connecting them would take a very long time.
I pushed myself up shakily, and looked at the sky. It was...It was night. I had been lying there since morning. I began to eat the eeline, tearing it apart and turning it into food. I cooked the meat with my fire. It was a delicious meal, but no way worth the cost. I would have to find another source of food. I could always eat surrounding ethermites, (3) but that would take too long and wouldn't sustain me well enough. I didn't have time to sleep, and neither was I tired. I decided to continue on my journey, hopefully no danger ahead. However, I had to continue on on land. I wasn't afraid of anything on the land - Except for Rock Dragons. Feral dragons made of rock that could control the world around them. We had a huge war against them, it was pretty bloody...
Shaking off my darker thoughts, I walked forwards, proud and tall, ready for what tomorrow had to throw at me.
Twelve rock dragons appeared out of nowhere.
"OH SON OF A BI-"
1: A drakon is big, so their definition of small is not small. The lake is two Tempests wide and one Celestia deep. (2)
2: The eeline fits inside because of dimensional folding magic. It's pretty much bigger on the inside
3: Mana. Ethermites is what can be used as energy, Ethernites is the liquid form, Etherbites are the solid, and Ether is pure mana. The difference between ethermites and ether is that ethermites can be consumed and used in spells, while ether can only be used by gods/titans such as Discord or the ancient (4) alicorns
