Pumpkin Spice was different from most bat ponies. Unlike most bat ponies she never had the desire to join the Vampires. The Vampires where a group of bat ponies who had a desire to suck blood. Also unlike other bat ponies she was weird and not mysterious.
Pumpkin spice was going to a place filled with dragons. It had no name. If any pony knew the name of the place the dragons would kill them. Pumpkin spice was going there because she wanted to find jewelry that the dragons had stolen years ago.
On the train Pumpkin Spice had met a nice, usual and funny pony. Now she was looking at a map. She was filled with glee. It had taken her years to earn enough money. Her family where against her going, and it was to far to fly to.
"That's enough of that." She murmured to herself. She turned around and headed to the seating area.
"OW!!" She screamed as she bumped into a unicorn. The unicorn was tall with a short horn and a smirk on her face. The unicorn locked up.
"BAT PONNY!!!" He screamed. Then he turned around ran a couple of feet then he realized he could teleport himself away, and he did so. Pumpkin Spice never really understood why unicorns where afraid of her and her kin. The only explanation she had ever got was from her sister, First Strike. Her explanation was that the unicorns believed if a bat pony held there horn in there mouth they would loose there magic. No pony knew if that theory was true. Pumpkin Spice rolled her eyes. Unicorns had been afraid since she was just a young filly.
"Hey you!!" Some pony then screamed. Pumpkin Spice turned towards the voice. Her jaw dropped. It was her family. Her family who didn't know she was on the train. Her family who thought she was with her grandmother. Pumpkin Spice turned and ran. She would NOT face her family.
Pumpkin Spice loved her family. She hated being pointed against them. How could they know she was on the train?
"HALT!" Her father screamed in a tone that would scare any little filly. Pumpkin Spice ran, but quickly her dad picked her up by the tail. The whole train gasped, but then fell silent.
"Time to go." Her dad says in a muffled voice. Then he flew out an open window with her family folowing.
"Soo," Twilight says as we walk, "the princess called you?"
"Yup!" Pinkie replies.
"Are you worried?"
"Nope!"
"Well if I where you I would be worried."
"True."
"Here's the castle."
A door on the castle then glows yellow and opens.
"Sorry if I worried you too." A regal voice says. Its Celestia.
Pinkie rushes forward and bounces up and down. "Hello your greatness!"
"Hi, Pinkie."
"Why ya call me!"
"To ask you a favor."
"Go on!"
` "Celestia don't ask to much of my pink mare friend."
"I've never asked to much of you our your friends!"
"Yea right."
"Celestia, whats the favor you want?"
"Well...there's a town in Saddle Arabia..."
"Yea?"
"it's full of gloom and sarcasm.. Can you try to make them more happy?"
"Sure! I'll try!"
"PINKIE! She's asking to much of you! You'll half to stay there for years! You'll half to leave everypony in Ponyvile! What if we need your element!"
"I'll take the job."
"What the-"
"I hate leaving everypony, but these pony's need me more. If you need my element teleport over."
"What about Gummy?"
"Ask Flutters to take care of him. Celestia when can I go?"
"In 3 hours, I can get a train."
"Great!"
As the train roared into the station, Twilight's stomach lurched. Why did Pinkie half to go?
"Bye!" Pinkie then yells, waving her hoof. The doors lurch open. Pinkie enters.
Pinkie liked the inside of the the train. It was filled with red velvet plush. Pinkie flops down on a chair. Next to her sat a peach stallion with orange mane and tail. For most ponies he might he might have looked boring, but for Pinkie she saw a new friend.
"Hi mister! My name is Pinkie Pie! Who are you?"
"Uhh.. I'm Top-Styles, I'm a reporter pony..."
"Where you going on this trip?"
"Manehatten. You?"
Pinkie was about to answer, but then the air in-front her turned yellow and a scroll of parchment appeared.
"That from a friend of your's?"
Pinkie nodded and open it up it said,
Dear Pinkie,
It's me Celestia. Please don't tell anyone about this job. Why? I can't tell you yet.
Sorry about this,
Celestia.
Then the letter dissolved. "Fillydelphia."
"What!?"
"That's where I'm going."
"Okay..."
"I'm going to get a snack...that ok?"
"Yea, you have free will."
Pinkie nods he head and walks over to a small snack bar. Pinkie grabs a chocolate bar and sits down. Maybe Twily was right. Maybe the job was to hard. She couldn't even tell a pony where she was going!
"Hello?" A mare says. She was a bat pony with flowing with white hair and tail. Her coat was pumpkin orange.
"Hey." Pinkie says dully for once.
"Sorry, but can you tell me where a train map is?"
"I don't know where one is.Sorry."
"That's ok." The pony turns and starts to leave.
"Can you tell me your name?"
"Pumpkin Spice." The pony says hurriedly.
"Thanks!"
"Your welcome."
