The view from the balcony was spectacular. Beautiful. From her vantage point Rarity could see for miles. Flying back to the castle would have been much quicker, but it was important to walk among the common ponies once in a while. The gates to her Castle swing open as she passed through them. Both of the armour-clad unicorns bowed their heads automatically at her passing. The bulky stallion standing before Celestias throne bowed, if one could call the brisk nodding of the head a bow. It was by no means proper, though it wasn’t worth correcting him over. Finding herself with no more reserved appointments for the day Celestia spread her wings and trotted off towards her quarters. There was one more thing for her to take care of though. Finding a balcony with its glass doorway open Celestia trotted outside. Focusing on her inner compass the sun princess faced West. Her horn glowed a fierce yellow, her magic reaching into the far depths of the sky and grasping hold of the titanic fiery orb bringing light to her lands. “As to you, Luna. Did you rest well?”

Luna yawned again, smacking her lips. Celestia stepped backwards. It was impolite to block her sisters view of the horizon. Though raising the moon was natural for the younger Princess after a thousand years of no practice it was still rough goings for the alicorn. Helping was out of the question. It would be rude. Of all the jobs the two rulers shared this one was the most important.
