Adjusting to a Not-so-normal Life
Just when things were going good
It was a dark and cold night. My room was dark but I was warm under my covers, trying to remember all of the awesome details of that small party my friend threw for her birthday. I had so much fun there, even though I had to leave somewhat early. I even met this girl I took a particular liking to. Hayley, her name was Hayley. I try to write down as much as I can remember of what happened at the party overall, but I just end up writing about her. "Stupid mind, get your shit together" I think to myself as I try and write all of the amazing things that happened just that night. Finally I give up and try and fall asleep, the thoughts of her swirling through my love-struck mind.
I wake up. It's a sunny day, and I awake to not my own room but somewhere else. It seemed so familiar but I couldn't quite think of where I was. Suddenly, Twilight Sparkle, the magical fictional pony, walks in and gets startled by me being in the room and immediately walks out. Realizing where I am, a wave of confusion hits me. How did I get here? I go back to sleep, wondering if I'm just dreaming.
I open my eyes, and I'm in a white blank plane of nothingness. Well I know I'm dreaming now, but I'm aware. I know it's a dream, I can move freely! Suddenly, I see a definitely human figure in the distance of a roaming white empty plane.
"I'm assuming the quantity of questions you have is endless." The figure says. It's female, and has an accent of sorts to it. No, it can't be. I look up, and see her. Her hair was a blue as dark as the night, and her clothes were very casual. Blue shorts that were actually very short, a blue t-shirt, and no sign of any undergarments judging from her perky but somewhat unsupported ample breasts. I stared at her body for what seemed like forever.
"L-Luna?" I say, curious to whether this is real or a actually just a dream or both.
"My name is Luna, but what is yours?" She says so royally and elegantly.
"My name is Nick, and I do have a lot of questions. First one, where am I?" I ask.
"Well, your body is in Twilight's tree house. Your mind however is in a dream state, and me being able to enter your dreams, I changed into a human form to hopefully help you feel less uncomfortable with this situation you are in" she says. Her being human is almost doing the opposite of her intended purpose, I couldn't get my eyes off of her and her amazingly perfect body.
"Wow. Oh my god. My friends, my family, will I ever see them again?" I ask in somewhat of a panic state.
"There is no definite answer to that, mainly because it's still unknown how you came here to begin with. I'm deeply sorry that I cannot answer your question." She says with a slightly saddened expression on her face.
"Hayley..." I think to myself as I start spiral down emotionally.
Oh god, my music from earth is still on earth. My iPhone, my 3DS, everything! Calm down, everything will be fine, I tell myself, knowing it won't be fine but having to lie to myself in order to calm my chaotic and distressed brain.
"What about my earth belongings, what do I do about them? My video games...My music..." I say, becoming saddened more and more by the thoughts of losing all of those things I loved so much, especially music. I still had the music I keep stored in my head, but now I might have to rely on just that for the music I used to listen to.
"I have a temporary solution for that." She says, smirking slightly and she opens her hand and I see an iPhone with half a case on it. Then I see it, that's my iPhone! I take the phone from her hands and unlock it with my password and see my background. I then go straight to the music app and am delightfully greeted with all 381 songs that were on the iPhone before I was taken to Equestria so strangely. I hug her immediately, and her reaction was just as immediate. You didn't even have to look at her face to tell she was blushing. Maybe it was because I was accidentally pressing against her large breasts, but I think it was because she was taken off guard by my hug and flattered by it majorly.
"Oh my god Luna thanks!" I say, ecstatic with joy.
"Tis not a problem, it is the least I can do for a visitor to my kingdom, especially so because of your particularly odd and sudden arrival" She says, elegant as always. I let go of her and look into her eyes. I stay in her glance and think to myself for a moment.
"Is this your true self? Do you like being sophisticated, or do you just act that way because you must?" I ask Luna. She stares at me for a second with a slight nervous look on her ironically pale, white face.
"Just between you and me, I act sophisticated, however I am actually the opposite of it outside of the view of the public. Even though this, I must keep my sophistication to keep the public under the impression that I am a true royal princess, so I must act as one." She says with a sigh.
"Well it's just me and you, show me your true self." I say with a smile.
"Really? Huzza- I mean, Awesome! After all these years living in Equestria, I started to find myself all over again, and I started to explore everything and question everything and break out of my uptight shell! Now I'm way different from how I was thousands of years ago, those six friends helped me find my true self, they showed me that I can't define myself as just Celestia's sister and a Royal Princess, I am my own person and much more complex than that now. But the night is still my home, I love the darkness, even if all the ponies are sleeping during it." She says excited and enthusiastically.
Seeing her so enthusiastic and happy really lightened my mood. Before I could say a word, everything becomes fuzzy. I stand there motionless until I see darkness and start to sense that I'm lying down rather then standing. I start to open my eyes as a purple pony with wings and a horn attempts to wake me up. She succeeds and as I open my eyes and look to my right hand, my iPhone isn't there.
