The sun was up and beaming in the sky.Everypony was enjoying the beautiful day except Princess Luna. Luna was bumming around the castle with no particular interest in anything. nothing seemed to be going on. Celestia was on royal duties and all the guards had nothing interesting going on. She sat at her balcony overlooking the land of Equestria. The colorful, vivid trees were scattered along the mountain sides and the crisp, blue sky was enjoyable. Luna yawned. Even though it was the middle of the day Luna felt tired. Maybe it was because of the lack of enthusiasm. “ I might aswell take a nap if theres nothing better to do” said Luna as she left the balcony. She walked down a long corridor to her quarters.A guard was standing outside her door. “ Hello Private Sun Blaze” said Luna “How's your wife” “ She well thanks for asking your highness” said the guard. Luna liked chatting to the guards from time to time. some had very interesting things happening. She opened the door and entered her room. It was a darkish purple with a large bed in the corner with a window beside it. she walked to her bed when something had caught her eye. In the corner of the room there was a pedestal with a object on it. The object was covered by a black cloth. She carefully walked towards the pedestal not knowing who had put it there and why they had put it there in the first place. Was it a gift? Was it a trap? Maybe her sister had bought her something and placed it there for her to find, But if that was the case why would she put it in the corner of the room and cover it with a cloth? Maybe so it could be a surprise? Luna wasn't sure if she should reveal the object or not but with a final decision she grabbed the cloth and pulled it away. The object was a lavender color. Luna after a couple seconds realized what it was. It was the head dress for Nightmare moon. Luna went wide eyed as she fell backwards. She stared at the peice of armor she once wore. “ How did.......But this was destroyed” Luna said backing away from helmet. Flashes of memories came to her of the time when she was on the moon. Counting the days,weeks,months,years. how lonely it was, how she would just sit there and do absolutely nothing but think. “ Oh I hope you like it “ said a voice behind her. she turned to be met by herself. It was another Luna. The copy Luna shot a blast of magic at Luna.Luna tried to move but was too late and the beam of magic connected with Luna. She flew backwards hitting the wall, leaving it dented. Luna laid dazed ,confused,and hurt. She tried getting up but was unable to. She could only watch helplessly at the imposter Luna. Green flames rose around the fake Luna as she transformed into Queen Chrysalis. Sun Blaze barged in but with a simple flash of her horn, Chrysalis turned him to dust. Luna looked away. “ Oh Princess please don't get up” came a voice behind the Queen. there was only a outline of not a pony but a creature. Luna recognized the shape of him. “ D-D-Discord” said Luna bitterly. Discord appeared out of the shadows. He smiled devilishly as he hovered over next to Chrysalis. “Oh i'm glad that you recognized me Luna cause it seems that everypony else forgot about me.” Said Discord with a smile. “ But no matter they will remember me soon enough”. Discord hovered over to the pedestal where the helmet was. “ What are you doing with the Queen of the Changelings” said Luna. Discord looked at Luna with a delightful grin. “Oh i’m glad you asked, you see I was enjoying my lovely stone imprisonment when I see none other than the Queen of the Changelings sneak out of the woods. She picked me up and dragged me into the woods. When we arrived at her home she used her magic to release me. As I sat there dazed she said she needed my help with exacting some revenge on some certain ponies in Ponyville. You can imagine my interest when Celestia’s six little helpers came up. We agreed that she gets all the love she wants if I get Celestia and her six little pony friends and the fun of it is everpony loses except for me,her,and you. Luna looked at Discord and then at Chrysalis with a confused look on her face. “ How would I win” said Luna. Discord Ignored the question. “ Like I said Luna everpony will remember me, but they forgot about something, somepony. They forgot about you. Not this new you but the old you” "What are you talking about" said Luna angrily. Discord chuckled. "I think you know exactly what i’m talking about" Teased Discord. Luna looked down silently. “ Why are you here attacking me then” said Luna still looking down. Discord looked at Chrysalis as he shook his head chuckling.Chrysalis stepped forward. “ Unfortunately, even with the strength of Me and Discord we still would get defeated.I still need more love to become stronger. So with some decision making we came across a wonderfully evil Idea”. Discord picked up the helmet. “ We thought who could be a huge ally to us and will undoubtedly help us achieve victory.......” Discord hovered over Luna “And who with a simple gaze can strike fear in anyponies heart and with a single word frighten anypony.......” Discord leaned towards Luna “And the first name that came to mind was your name.....” Discord placed the lavender head dress on Luna. “ Nightmare Moon” Author's note: I know this is short but i will make sure the rest are longer. The Princess didn't stop pacing, She didn't even look up. The Mane 6 looked at each other worriedly. Applejack stepped forward. “Uhhhh Princess” said Applejack trying to snap the Princess out of her trance. There was holes in the wall, the window was broken, and there was the remains of a guard that had been turned to dust. To make it even worse, on the walls there was claw marks” “ Claw marks?” questioned Twilight. “ So an animal attacked Luna you think” “ How many animals do you think can take down a goddess” Said Celestia. She smiled and she stood in front of Luna. “ You may feel a slight burning feeling” said Chrysalis. Discord floated over next to Luna. “ Who are we kidding, you’ll feel a painful burning feeling. A very,very,VERY painful feeling ” Discord laughed. Chrysalis laughed with him. Chrysalis horn glowed green as flames shot in Luna’s eyes. Luna screamed in pain, They were trying to literally BURN memories in and out of her mind. It was Brainwash! They were brainwashing her into Nightmare Moon. She could feel her good side leave her mind as well as all the memories when she was free, The Royal Wedding, Nightmare Night and the joy she felt at the end of that day, the love for her sister and the Mane 6........... Deleted. Memories of hate and sadness began to fill her mind. Memories on the moon and memories of the Mane 6 destroying her with the Element Of Harmony. Are you dead?HEEEEEEELLLLLLLOOOO” said Discord waving his claw in front of Luna's face.Luna raised her head slowly. Her mane began to turn into a blue wavy mist. She was no longer a lavender color but now she had turned into a pitch black color. Her eyes opened to reveal cold, icy blue eyes that pierced through the darkness of the room. Discord giggled with joy. “ Give me my armor” said Luna bitterly. Discord smiled devilishly as he handed her the armor. She put it on without hesitation. “ Welcome back to the night,Princess Luna.” whispered Discord. Luna shot a look at Discord. “ I am no longer this “Princess Luna”. I am Nightmare Moon and I will have my vengeance” Nightmare Moon said in the Royal Canterlot Voice. Discord looked at Chrysalis, who was hesitant to go near Nightmare Moon. “ Nightmare, we have a proposition for you. Me and Queen Chrysalis will attack Canterlot and Ponyville with her army of Changeling’s and we wish for you to help in doing so.” explained Discord while floating around Nightmare Moon. She looked at Discord with a emotionless look. “ What do I gain from helping you and this so called “Queen of the Changelings”?” Shouted Nightmare Moon. “ In return you get to make it night, everywhere, forever” said Discord with a sly smile. The stone began to break and blow off bit by bit. Finally , the last remaining stone exploded off with a eruption of fiery shrapnel. As the fog cleared and the dust settled there stood Discord, brushing his shoulders off. Discord was still abit dazed but was able to look around. he was in the Everfree forest from what he cold gather and he was I front of a pony that looked like she needed a shower. behind her was about 40 creatures who all looked the same. "Finally, I am free once more to wreck some chaos. Oh what should i do first? Chocolate rain? To Predictable. Inverted Colors? not good enough. He could get his revenge if he teams up with her but what dose she want and how does he know he can trust her? hell she's trusting him. "I'll agree on one thing, Im the leader of this attack. " What are you getting at ?" Chrysalis asked. Discord was pacing back and forth conducting a plan in his head. " Can you control a ponies mind with your magic" asked Discord. She nodded. " If we can capture the fair Princess Luna and change her back to Nightmare Moon we would have a great advantage." " Alright and how will we get to her" asked Chrysalis. Discord was still abit dazed but was able to look around. he was in the Everfree forest from what he cold gather and he was I front of a pony that looked like she needed a shower. behind her was about 40 creatures who all looked the same. "Finally, I am free once more to wreck some chaos. Oh what should i do first? Chocolate rain? To Predictable. Inverted Colors? not good enough. Oh I know i'll-" " You wont do anything until I tell you to" Said Chrysalis strictly. Discord turned towards Chrysalis. " Oh what a brave pony you are. And who might you be? No wait , don't tell me are you Queen Insect? No? Queen Swiss Cheese! No? Oh oh Queen-" "I'm Chrysalis, Queen of the Changelings and the pony responsible for your release from your stone prison." Shouted Chrysalis. She shook her head and gathered herself together. " Ohhhh a pony with temper problems, so tell me Queen Chrysalis what can you do? " asked Discord with a eyebrow raised. Chrysalis without hesitation changed to look like Discord. Discord was shocked but quickly smiled. " Am i really that good looking?" " Enough, I require your "Talent's" to exact some revenge on some ponies in Ponyville." Discord quickly shot a look at Chrysalis . " Ponyville you say? Well well it seems that we want the same thing, And here I thought I would have to turn you into cans of tuna or something." Laughed Discord happily. " Nice to see you take things serious." said Chrysalis. " Believe me, You wont like me when I get serious." Said Discord bitterly. "Now Ponyville, whats in it for me?" Chrysalis smiled." You get The Mane 6 and Celestia all to your self." Discord thought about it for awhile. He could get his revenge if he teams up with her but what dose she want and how does he know he can trust her? hell she's trusting him. "I'll agree on one thing, Im the leader of this attack. " Have you forgotten that Canterlot has one of the most biggest armies in Equestria? Also, We are strong but they have Celestia,Luna,And the Elements Of Harmony which tips the scale in there favor ." Explained Discord. Discord the grew a smile. " Unless-" He began. " Unless one of there Princesses went rouge and turned on them" Chrysalis looked at Discord with head tilted. " What are you getting at ?" Chrysalis asked. Discord was pacing back and forth conducting a plan in his head. " Can you control a ponies mind with your magic" asked Discord. She nodded. " Then we got are self's A new member of are little family." Discord said in a devilish tone. " Can you please explain" said Chrysalis. Discord face palmed then began. " If we can capture the fair Princess Luna and change her back to Nightmare Moon we would have a great advantage." " Alright and how will we get to her" asked Chrysalis.
