*Hello, my name is Sorin of the New Lunar Republic and this is a log of the start of my demise at the hand of the elements. The voice you are hearing now is simply magic, please tell Luna if something happens to this tape.*

Sorin sat there gazing out of a crack in the closet door, his dark wings humming lightly with power. He watched some royal guards pass by before casting a invisibility spell and slipping out of the closet (Shut up, you dirty minded ponies.). He strolled around the large ship for a while before finding his target, the bridge. He waited a moment for a guard to enter then slipped in as the door was closing. The bridge was full of royal guards and their general, as much as he wanted to hit the general he had another job to do.

“Fleetwood, open fire when you see the bridge explode.” He silently whispered into his ear piece.

“Alright, you know you have some crazy ideas.” Fleetwood responded dully. “I don’t see why Luna wanted me to team up with you on this one, from what I heard you could have just sliced the ship in half.”

“It’s more fun to have a battle that to cause wide spread panic, which is also fun.” He grinned and went to the front of the room. There he undid his spell getting a lot of gasps from all the royal guards.

“It’s Sorin! Get him quick!” The unicorns pointed their horns at him and fired off a beam of light. Sorin moved his wings forward and a shadow shield, blocking the beams. “Quick! Before he-” Before the solder could finish Sorin’s horn glowed a light red color and the area around him exploded, sending some solders flying back agents the wall. The general remained seated with a powerful glare on his face.

“Your something else, you know that Republic scum.” He jumped off his seat and charged at Sorin with his horn pointed at him. Sorin jumped and glided over his head, landing behind him.

“The true scum is your tyrant of a queen.” He hissed and watched as one of Fleetwood’s ships shot a beam out and hit where the general was, the smoke cleared and he was gone. “Aw dammit! Fleetwood I lost the general!” He shouted into his ear piece.

“Find him! We don’t want Celestia to know we were here!” Fleetwood called back. Sorin ran out of the hole in the front of the ship and looked around. The night sky was full and clear, the stars sparkling. Sorin ran up the small hill leading up to the top of the ship and there stood the general, holding up one leg and panting hard, he had a few cuts on him as well.

“Your hurt.” Sorin pointed out.

“What do you care? I bet you were hoping for this, well do it! Finish me off! I won’t go down without a fight.” He spat at Sorin, he sighed and his horn began to glow which made the general flinch, he shot a beam at the general, which hit is head and knocked him out.

“I don’t kill, unlike you scum.” He glared at the body and casted a spell to wipe his memory of this whole fight. “Alright Fleetwood I wiped his memory. Finish off the ship and let’s get out of here.” He turned and sprinted off the edge, taking flight towards Fleetwood’s flag ship. It took him a good 10 minutes to get over to the ship and by that time the celestial ship was fulling slowly to the ground, random explosions coming from it.

“Ah there you are.” Fleetwood was waiting by the entrance door Sorin had used to get back into the ship. “Your crazy, I heard you were, but never thought this much.” He chuckled lightly, patting Sorin on the back. “I can see why Luna made you a general.” Sorin smiled lightly, still panting from the long flight. “Come on, let’s report to Luna.” Fleetwood turned and walked down the metal hall. Sorin followed after a moment to catch his breath, as he entered the bridge he saw a large screen with Luna’s face on it. “-and that’s about it,” Fleetwood finished his report and looked up to the screen. “Any new orders?” Luna shook her head.

“No, good work Fleetwood, and you to Sorin. Return to base if you will.” Both Sorin and Fleetwood bowed, when Sorin got up he saw Luna gazing at him before shutting off her screen quickly.

“Hmm.” He thought for a moment then shrugged as the ship began to turn slowly. Fleetwood was sitting in his seat.

“So tell me, what happened to your ships again?” He looked at Sorin with curiosity.

“Durpy was assigned to pilot the ship, I don’t know who wanted to play that joke on me but it ended up in me lossing half my battle fleet.” He face-hoofed then looked up to see Fleetwood silently laughing. “Oh you asshole.” He growled.

“You have a sense of humor after all!” He then bursted out laughing like a idiot, holding his ribs.

“You just wait, she will be in charge of something in your ship when something important is going on.” Sorin growled at him and turned to the window. They were nearing the base, Brougham Mansion, it was big enough to hold a army or two and there were docks built around it, a magic shield over it to keep from any attacks. “Dock three, please open.” Sorin called into a microphone, and just as he asked the roof to dock three opened.

“Land the ship.” Fleetwood told one of the night solders. As the ship began to descend Sorin jumped out another one of those doors and flew towards the mansion. After every mission he has to go see Luna about recharging his wings, they took a beating when taking all those beams of magic on. He got to the front door and nodded to the two guards as they opened the door for him. He entered and saw a few guards in the hall talking about battle maneuvers. He walked past them and deeper into the mansion until he saw a large door with a golden trim and a crescent moon above said door. He knocked on it a few times before he heard a voice call from inside.

“Enter.” He pushed the door open and saw Luna laying on a large bed with dark sheets overlooking some maps. “Came to see me about your wings?” Sorin nodded walking closer. As he got to the foot of the bed Luna got up and shot a dark beam at his wings. “Wow, you over did it today, almost compleatly drained. You must be carful with how much damage you take.” He sighed and nodded.

“It dosin’t help that I need to be standing in front of everypony when I execute my plan and that it takes a few moment’s to charge self destruct.” Luna sighed and nodded, cutting off the magic.

“Do try and be a bit more carful please, I wouldn’t know what to do if you got hurt.” He began to nod when he stopped and looked at her.

“Wait what?” She gazed at him a moment before leaning down and kissing him, it lasted about 30 seconds but the meaning was clear as all hell. When she broke it off he was still wide eyed. “Oh Fleetwood is going to fucking hurt me.”
