The Present
"NO! She wouldn't do that to me!" I said in a rising tone.
"You can clearly see it Kalokas. It is the truth."
I fell to the floor, unable to stand after what I had seen. "She...She..." I felt a hoof touch my wing.
"Help me and in return I shall for ever be a true friend to you. I will never treat you like that... I will be a true friend." I looked up at the one who talked. My eyes had locked with his.
He had a point. He had welcome me from the very beginning.
"Sure....friend." I watch as the Unicorn smiled in my response.
"Don't fight it" He finally spoke after the silence. His horn glow red. I watched as a circle of shadow started to formed over us.
"Kalokas?" My ears picked up. Wait I knew that voice. I turn my head around to see the one I heard. My old and first ex-friend.
I watched as a upside down smile spread across her face. Tears running down her cheeks. I just laid there with my new friend. I watch as my ex-friend was just standing there horrified. Until the darkness from the spell cover my vision.
Hey there. My name is Kalokas. I'm a unique creature. From what I know I am the only of my kind and have not been studied.
I live in the Everfree forest. I like it there. It was the only place I could call home. Now I know what your thinking. Isn't that near Ponyvillie? Well yes. But over time when ever I tried to interact with Ponyvillie....stuff goes wrong. It's not my fault! I swear.
But first thing first. Let me give you a drink of knowledge to get rid of you thirst. What I'm I? Well I don't know. Funny right?
But this is what I do know. I have a body of a loin. Claws, tail and spikes than ran along my spine. From the tip of my spine, down to my tail. Of a dragon. I had two huge, red bat like wings. They seem to be resistance to a lot of stuff. Trust me, I know. A head of an red eye wolf. My teeth were able to bite through anything. While a long snake like tongue was hold inside my mouth. My fur black as the night while my tali showed a pattern of purple.
Wait now I'm almost done. But you need to know this. I have...um...how do I say this? Powers. Wait I remember what it is called!
Magic! Yeah I know magic so what. But... I also have a deep secret.
While I have magic in me...I also have Dark magic. I don't want to talk about it much but I will give you this. I can feel it inside of me and since I first used it by accident. A figure would appear and start to talk to me. At first I thought I had gone mad but no. Instead I saw, smelt, felt, heard him. Yes him. A black Unicorn with a red horn that matched his eyes of red. He offered to be my friend but I refused. I would of loved to be his friend since I had no friends. But I felt how he was related to Dark magic which I want nothing to do with. I know what it does to you.
Anyway enough of that you properly want to hear my story. Well let's start from a better point and not the earlier one shall we?
The Past
"Oh my god that smell." I whispered to myself.
I licked my lips as I watched from afar. Thank to my eyes. As a pink pony was baking some goods in a place called Sugar Cube something. I would come here often just to smell the goods. They were wonderful. I would love to have one but if only I could go closer. I thought about it for a while. But in the end, I didn't go as I thought I would scare the ponies there.
After what seemed like forever which I didn't mind. The smell stopped as she had finish baking her goods. "Aw." I would say when ever this would happened.
But on that day was the day where I get blamed for something that was not my fault...again.
Damn you Timber wolves....that was my lunch.
Anyway I got up and turned around to go back deeper into my home.
My ears picked up as I heard a cry from somewhere in the forest. At first I wouldn't have mind and just lived my life. But. Something was different. I heard that cry before...to well. My curiosity got the better of me and before I knew it. I was flying toward the sound.
I finally came to where the sound was coming from. I had landed near a tree then turned myself invisible. Yes I can do that just don't ask. I looked at what I had guessed right from before. A yellow pony with pink mane stood there. I have see her before.
My thought was stopped. As I saw she was terrified. At what? Can't be me I am unseen able.
That is when I saw it.
Damn it why did it have to be one of those? In front of the pony was a timber wolf.
Why isn't she running away?
It got closer and closer.
IS SHE MAD?
I looked at her face.... My heart fell....
Hey don't look at me like that! You don't know these cute pony faces!
But before I knew it I was in front of the pony and was looking at the timber wolf. It growled at me. That's all you got? I thought. Well this is going to be easy. Wait why I'm I doing this again?
I let out a mighty roar. I watched as I had scared it of.
I turn to the pony remembering her after my moment. She was just starting at me.
"Ah crap." I muttered as I saw here about to feint. I quickly used my magic to send a quick jolt to her. She jumped right in the air giving a quick squeak. She landed back in my arms as I caught her. I thought she would try to run away. But she just laid there while shivering. Her head under her hooves. I could hear crying.
Oh boy this is going to be a long day.
I did the only thing I knew on how to calm down ponies, from what I watched. Hey I don't need a pony mob after me. I started to stoke her mane while gently saying "Please clam down I won't hurt you. I promise." To my luck she stop shivering. Wow. It worked?
I used my claw to lift her head up to make her look at me. She had stopped crying. "Look I promise I would not hurt you. Now if you can let me check you for wounds please?"
She slowly nodded after hearing what I had said. I laid her down on the grass and did what I had said. After a while I spotted a cut on the back of her neck...she was bleeding.
"Now don't be scared but I'm going to heal the wound on you neck. Ok?"
She nodes. I then leaned in and pulled out my tongue. She backed away after seeing this. "Don't worry." I said.
She then seem to trust me. I then began licking at the cut. She giggled a bit while I rolled my eyes. My tongue lick at the cut. I could sense the pony was confused.
"All done." I said. She reach out and touch her neck. If only you could see the look on her face when she felt the cut was gone! Priceless. She then turned to me with a smile. This warmed my heart.
"Hel..l..o I'm Flutter.....shy" I heard her say.
"Well hello there Fluttershy." I waved. "My name is Kalokas." Before She could say any more, I put my claw on her mouth. "Now I know you have a lot of questions to ask but I really don't have the time." I lied. She looked confused even more as I said this. "Now I'm going to walk with you till you reach out of the Everfree forest. Then I must leave you. Ok?"
She nodes. I started to walk until I felt a tap on my wing. I turned back and looked at the pony.
"Yes?" I asked
She points toward her leg and asks a question.
Oh you have got to me kidding me.
A few hours later.
"Fluttershy wake up" I lifted my left wing upwards to see her sleeping on my back. I had to carry her. Nothing more to say.
"5 more minutes. Please?" She gave me the sleepy puppy look after rubbing her eyes.
"Fine." I muttered between my teeth. She gave me a smile in response. We were on the the edge of the forest. Near her home from what she told me. I laid down carefully while lifting Fluttershy with my wings. I got comfortable and laid Fluttershy away from me. What I didn't get to sleep much ok?
I was about to drift off when I felt a touch on my wing. I lift my head to see Fluttershy standing near me. "Yes?" I asked while looking at her. She smiled then pointed at me. "What?...Oh....fine but only this once!" I knew what she wanted again.
Hey I wanted to sleep ok.
She then went and laid down next to me. She then snuggled up to my furry body and rest her head on my arm. She felt cold so out of my rush to get to sleep. I put my wing over her. This help her warm up more quickly. We fell asleep after a few seconds.
A while later, I was woken to the sound of voices. I kept my pose and eyes closed but listen more carefully.
"You can't hurt him! He did no harm!" That sounded like Fluttershy.
"But he was about to eat you!" Who ever that was they were angry.
Wait what! Eat who? Fluttershy? Who was this voice? I opened my eyes and looked up. A purple pony was talking to Fluttershy.
"And what is he? Just let me do some test on him!" I saw the purple one say.
TEST!?!? What test? I was not a pony test subject. I then stood up which seem to make them jump.
"Fluttershy behind me!" The purple one shouted. Lets just call her Pp for now. Pp then lowered her horn and it glowed.
"Wait Twilight don't!" Fluttershy said. But then twilight sent something out of her horn. I felt nothing. Must of been a weak spell? Suddenly my anger rose as I remember what just happened.
She wanted me to be her test subject without my permission and then attack me!
Before I knew it my anger got the best of me. I looked at the Unicorn who was surprise. I then smacked her with the back of my claw. Sending her flying into a tree. I walk up to her. She was bleeding. I didn't care it was her fault. ALL HER FAULT!!! I raised my claw again but stopped when I suddenly got kicked in the side. I groaned and looked to the right. There stood a blue, winged pony. She charged at me again. She was fast but I'm faster.
I step to my right and grabbed the pony in my claws. The looked of shock on her face was a sight to see. I then saw how she started to fear me. I started to squeeze. She cried out in pain. Pp only looked with horror while laying there. I was about to end this blue one.
"STOP!" I heard a cry. I stopped squeezing but still holed on tight. I then felt something nuzzling my right leg. I looked down and saw a sad little yellow mare looking back at me. "Please stop...please." She now proceed to hug my leg. I dropped the blue one who had know was gasping for breath. Fluttershy looked at me with a smile.
I then torn her off my leg. She looked at me in confusion. Pp laid there in shock. The blue one followed. Out of nowhere they both fainted.
Weak ponies.
I looked back to Fluttershy who was still confused but smiling at me. I then suddenly turn and ran towards the Everfree forest. I heard Fluttershy calling me back as she tried to follow me but I manage to lose her.
I went into a bush and camouflage myself with invisibility. I looked back towards Fluttershy home. I saw an orange pony with a yellow mane, a pink pony with a pink mane and a white pony with a purple mane run toward PP and the blue one. I later saw Fluttershy come towards them her head hanged low. I could see her crying.
I left before I saw any more.
I just sat there in hospital thinking about that poor creature. I looked up at the two beds before me. One had Twilight and one had Rainbow dash, they were still knocked out. I felt tears running down my cheeks. Then I felt a hoof touch my back. I looked to my right and saw Applejack looking at me.
"You ok there sugar-cube?"
"Yeah...thanks...it...it...just Im thinking about that poor creature."
"Poor creature! What about poor Rainbow and Twilight? It attack them and almost killed them!" I saw Rarity looking angry at me
"But." I tried to say.
"No buts! We have monster nearby and it seemed to be no normal monster." Rarity said looking out the window. I then notice Pinkie had fallen asleep on some chairs? Wow. Pinkie was tired?
We all froze when we heard a roar. Kalokas? I thought and before I knew it i was out the door.
"Wait Fluttershy!" I ignored it.
I finally stopped after thinking Im far away enough. Why did I act like that I thought. I felt rage building inside of me.
WHY! WHY! Before I knew it I had let out a roar louder then before as I started to break my surrounding.
WHY! *Smash!*
WHY! *Smash!*
After a while of rage I finally stopped and laid down. I thought about ways to make me happy and calm. Fluttershy smile came into my mind. That pony. The way she acted for me like a....friend. I thought more about the smile as it calm me down.
I felt something touch my tail. I flipped around quickly. What dared to touch me now! My anger rose only to have it fall again.
There stood Fluttershy crying.
I lean in and pulled her in for a huge which she accepted. "Im so sorry!" I cried. Yes I cried so what?
"It's ok. We are friends after all." She replied while she nuzzle my neck.
"Friend? But I have no friends."
Fluttershy without a moment after hearing this replied. "Well I'm your first friend then." I watched as a smile came across her face while the tears have stopped.
I couldn't be any more happier on that day.
She was my friend.
My only friend.
And I wasn't going to lose her. No matter what!
"All done is that all?"
"Yes Spike. That is all thank you."
Spike just manage to snap out of his trance from looking at Rarity. He then rolled up the letter and breathed fire on it. He watched as it turn into smoke and went flying outside towards Canterlot.
I hope Celestia knows what to do. Rarity thought. After all it did just beat two of the elements like they were nothing.
