The add that changes life
A orange mare slept in the dark away from the worlds hardships. Her life has been hell for a long time until she slept. Sleep was her only escape. Unfortunately it never lasted long enough. As the light of the sun seeped through the thin curtains the purple maned mare mumbled something and got up. She surveyed her surroundings as she sat on the floor.
The tree house she was in looked the same as it always did. Old and worn down. There was cabinets along one wall for storing food while a simple couch that was worn down and had holes in it was at the opposite wall. She must have fell off it last night. There were some paintings on the walls but are so worn out and decade that they looked like extra wall paper. Same as always.
It sucked but it gave her memories of her old life. Of Applebloom, Sweetie Bell, and the old CMC days. It gave good and bad memories. She could still remember the day when those days were taken from her along with her friends.

"What do you mean were through."
"Ah mean were done. We are done getting hurt and you bossing us around. Have you noticed when we took the lead we got our cutie marks. You still have a blank flank." Applebloom stated coldly.
"But Diamond Tiara, you can't be serious. Please tell me you aren't Sweetie Belle."
"Sorry but Applebloom has a point. I'm also getting tired of your antics. But most of all i'm tired of being picked on by hanging out with a blank flank. A flightless one at that." Sweetie Belle said with no remorse.
"But... But"
"You heard their decision Scootaloo. Lets go." Diamond Tiara said as she turned with the orange mare's friends. If they bothered to look back they would see their orange friend Scootaloo crying on the ground.

Scootaloo wiped his eye at the memory.
No cool mares don't cry. It's just sweat from the eyes she thought to herself. Grunting she got up and went to the cabinets.
"Buck" After a quick search she only found an apple. She would have to get money soon or she would starve. She picked up the apple and went over to the couch to get comfortable. As she ate from her apple Scootaloo heard a knock from the door.
"Come in" A silver mare opened the door and walked in.
"Silver, long time no see. Did you find me a job yet." Scootaloo said with happiness. Silver Spoon became Scootaloo's friend soon after she saw what happened to the CMC. It also helped that Diamond Tiara abandoned her as well after having the other CMC.
"Yea I have one. Mind scooting over." Silver Spoon said as she walked toward Scootaloo. She quickly scooted over for her only friend.
"So what is it. I'm starving and I need money over here." That's when Silver noticed the empty cabinets. She let out a slow sigh.
"Scootaloo my offer still stands. You can live with me or I can get you some money. Trust me I have enough." Silver said with a hopefulness in her eyes.
" And as I said I can't. Cool mares don't take money from others even if its given to them." Scootaloo said with a humph.
"And as I said you even if you are a 'cool mare' you are going to die if you keep living like this." Silver said hoping to get through to Scootaloo.
It didn't.
"I'll die if you don't tell me what my next job opportunity" She said intrigued by what her next job is. Silver let out a sigh.
"I found it in the article today. Their looking for someone to work as night guard at this place called..." Silver looked at the news paper for a second "... Pizaria of Harmony"
"Is that the place with the robot elements of harmony." Scootaloo asked. Silver nodded worryingly.
" And it that the place near Sugar Cube Corner." She persisted. Silver gave another nod only slower.
"Not that place. It gives bad memories." Scootaloo groaned as she shriveled up on the couch
"Look Scootaloo.." Silver looked at the shriveled mare with a stern look. "I know you don't like it there but, and excuse my language, you fucked up every job you had so far.. twice. I'm surprised they'll let you take the job in the first place."
" But that's where me and the others broke up." It was true. Scootaloo found out about their break up on the floor of that building. Plus looking at the elements of harmony made her feel bad for knowing that they disappeared a week before the break up.
It was made to honor their memory and teach foals. To Scootaloo that place was a disgrace not even worth mentioning. It was probably the reason she never went went there no matter the reason.
"I know you hate it but you can't afford to miss the opportunity. I even made them raise the price to 1000 bits a week." Scootaloo's mouth hung open in amazement. Silver rolled her eyes. "I'm rich remember"
Scootaloo finally closed her mouth. "So when do I start" She asked curiously.
"12pm when they close from what I heard but you should go before then to get familiar with the building." Silver said happy that she finally agreed.
"I have to go. Ponies to meet and places to see"
"Ok thank you and goodbye" Scootaloo said as she watched silver go out the door. Little did she or Silver Spoon know that the add would change their life forever.
