Tethering on the edge of transcending his limit but in this attempt the only thing it brought was tragedy. Celestia was flying from the newly built castle of Canterlot towards the old abandoned one in the Everfree forest flying with such speed that not even the royal-guards could keep up. 6 years it had been since she had to banish her sister Luna the pain still fresh in her heart. And now she knew that the one that had been there for Celestia in her greatest time of need,  had felt such suffering by his friend because of ignorance of the magic of friendship what she hoped would be the cornerstone of the kingdom. was as heavy in her soul as her on ignorance of Luna’s suffering and loneliness. Whatever happens today it would shape Equestrias future. At old Royal Castle entrance One creature cloaked in darkness with 3 golden eyes full of hate piercing through it,  as they stared down on a bearded Grey unicorn the remains of some kind of clothing lying beside the unicorns mangled legs. “Sorry,   so you are sorry for what has happened to my family because of your stupidity.”  The creature said calmly in a voice that devoided of even anger,   as it’s front leg carved a symbol in the ground. “Not only did your spell take my wife away from me but you had the gall to try to manipulate time itself to fix you’re mistake. Killing nearly my whole family,   and also erasing the very knowledge of what you have done. So that only you,  me and Celestia will ever know of what you have done.”  The creature said as it finished the symbol. Stamping on the ground it started to glow with a Silver light all around six different symbols glowed each in it’s own color. “Starswirl I can never forgive you but I will always love you my friend. ”  The creature said in tone of pain and it’s eyes full of sadness, as the symbols rose from the ground into a circle surrounding the unicorn embedding them self into his body as a silent scream rose from his throat. The symbols slowly faded as the first one dissolved the creature spoke. “Kindness,  Laughter,  Loyalty,  Honesty,  Generosity,  Magic,  and lastly my element you have never realized it but it was never a true element of Harmony but merely a key. I am the Element of Understanding Grey Song and I say farewell Starswirl the bearded Element of Magic. Never let your ignorance and sin taint another ponies heart.” Grey Song looked down on his former friend as the last symbol finally faded away as of now neither he nor Starswirl were Elements anymore. Breaking Starswirls legs may have been a bit excessive,  but he knew that if he had not done it something far worse would have happened today. Hopefully the next elements would fix the mistakes of the past,  and save Luna from the Nightmare. When they first received the elements of harmony it had intoxicated them the power that defeated the so called incarnation of chaos Discord,  give Sombra as swift kick in the flank and fix the every other thing they heard of. He had seen it clearly from the beginning Starswirl may have ended with his experiment it but it was never fully his fault they had could never bond in true friendship. Grey Song had tried but the only ones that had truly bonded was him,  Starswirl and his beautiful wife Starlight. The power of the elements had only been used by them never had they truly become them. They had been arrogant and prideful and now they had paid for it. Celestia could finally see the her old castle in the horizon. In less than a minute she swooped down towards the entrance,  seeing the two figures on the ground as she landed right in front of the creature. Feelings of anger and sadness in her heart at the scene of Starswirl’s body his legs all broken. Aside from some bruises on his body there was no other evidence of violence,  yet she could fell the last whisper of power from whatever spell had been cast. “He will heal in a month I put a small symbol of healing on him” Celestia turned towards the voice seeing the darkness fade away and a big white earth pony walks slowly towards her. Grey Song looked at his one time friend body. “I could not do it he was my best friend to kill him for his crime it will not bring my wife or daughter back.” He said stopping right in front of the fallen Starswirl. “Celestia my clan left Equestria today our loyalty was to both you and Luna,  but we cannot find a home here were ponies are afraid of us so we will wander the lands in search of new home.” Taking a deep breath he spoke words that filled her with dread. “I am dying Celestia. To save my son from the effects of the time spell I used my life force to protect him, only my Element held me alive.” She could see his hooves beginning to fade tears falling from both their eyes as the looked upon each other “I am Grey Song first sage of Equestria,  husband of Starlight,  Chief of the Soul clan of the earth ponies,  Archmage and your and Luna's friend" As the stallion faded away he embraced Celestia and whisper into her ears "And maybe one day we will return to be with you all again,  so stay strong for me and Luna,  stay strong Celestia “Princess i’m finished” Her new Student Twilight exclaimed as she slammed Eye through the veil by Starswirl Shut waking Celestia from her daydreams. “Twilight will not repeat the mistakes of the past I’m sure of it.”  She thought as she looked proudly on her eager student. On the other side of the world a small Grey colt looked down on the symbol he had on the ground stamping his small hoof on it and spoke “Harmony”
