It was a bright sunny winter afternoon in Ponyville. Rainbow Dash was doing what she usually does other then doing her weather patrol duties, because she already clear the sky earlier that morning. Rainbow Dash was scanning Ponyville from up above in the clouds when she saw her favorite unicorn, Twilight Sparkle. Rainbow Dash flew down to Twilight softly landing to the ground,"Hey Twi! How is everything going?"
"Hi Dash! Everything is doing good. Especially you clearing the sky this morning, it's been nice and sunny all day." said Twilight with a bright smile.
Rainbow Dash blush a bit, but shook it off as if it was nothing while replying with a smug grain,"That's nothing! I could clear all the skies in Equestria if I could!"
Twilight giggled at her comment expecting nothing less from her rainbow hair friend.
Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle have been spending a lot of time together, more often then usually. Dash would come and visit Twilight about three to four times a week these past two months in the afternoon until the sun goes down. They would talk about how their day has been and they would find a bunch of other things to talk about as well. Sometimes Rainbow Dash would just come in and sit by the fire place and watch Twilight do her studies for Princess Celestia. Once in a while Dash would complain about how much the Princess gives Twilight, but she would usually brush her comment off and go back to her studies.
And today was the same thing like always. Twilight invited Rainbow Dash in for some hot chocolate to warm her up, from seemly being in the cold all day. Dash agreed and sat down in front of the fire place like she usually does. A few minutes later Twilight came in with two mugs of hot chocolate while making it levitate in the air with her magic. She sat down right by Rainbow Dash so close that there bodies where barely touching, which made Rainbow Dash blush.
"Here,"Twilight offered the sky blue mug to Rainbow Dash. While she took the dark purple mug, being Twilight's favorite color.
Rainbow Dash took the mug. "Thanks Twi." she mutter then took a sip of the hot chocolate to make sure it wasn't to hot.
She sat the mug down and agreed that the hot chocolate was hot enough. While she put her hot chocolate down she felt Twilight shivered a bit. Rainbow Dash hesitantly but her one wing around Twilight, but surly prepared to remove her wing if Twilight didn't like it. But, to her surprise Twilight cuddled into her warmth. That which made Dash blush a deep red, and to her liking Twilight was blushing as well.
Twilight toke one last sip of her hot chocolate and said shyly, "Rainbow Dash, their is something I been meaning to tell for the past week. You see for the last two months you coming to visit me more often has made me real happy I think...I might have fallen in love with you." Twilight looked away to expected the worst.
But, Rainbow Dash took her chain in her hoof and look deep in Twilight's eyes. Twilight was shook to see so much love and concern in Dash's eyes, but was even more shook when she pulled her into a deep and loving kiss. Minutes passed... not wanting the kiss to end, but they're lungs were dying for air. They released from there kiss breathing heavily.
They both looked into each other eyes. Dash gave a loving smile and finally realizing her ture feeling. Dash said,"I love you too."
While she pull Twilight in for another kiss.
It's been three weeks since Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash had confess there feelings for each other. Things were a bit bumpy at first, but now everything is going smoothly agin. Once they both told their friends about what happen they did not hesitate to accept they're relationship with each other. They were truly the greatest friends in the world, especially them accepting two mares being in love with each other.
