Chapters A niveous feeling struck Harmony's stomach as her mother, Tabitha, pulled into a parking spot at Canterlot High. At first, Harmony had felt excited, but now she just wanted to go home and jump back into bed. Tabitha unbuckled and got out of the car, she came around and opened Harmony's door. Harmony sat there, staring at the seat in front of her, her eyes refusing to move.
"Harmony...you need to get out." Tabitha said gently.
Harmony shook her head violently and looked at Tabitha. "Mom...I feel sick." She said as she clutched her acing stomach.
Tabitha placed her gentle hand on Harmony's forehead and smiled. "No, your just nervous."
"Very..." Harmony replied. "I don't want to be bullied like at my last school Mom."
"Don't worry, Vice-Princeipal Luna told me that their is no bullies at the school, and she even knows six girls that will help you get started." Tabitha replied cheerfully.
"Are you sure?" Harmony asked.
Tabitha nodded. "I'm sure."
Harmony slowly got out of the car and looked around. "Wow! This is a big campus!" She exclaimed.
Tabitha and Harmony's gazes locked on a dark blue figure approaching them. When she reached them, she smiled. "Hello, I am Vice-Principal Luna. I'm very pleased to meet you." She said.
"Hello, Miss Luna! I'm Tabitha, and this is my daughter Harmony. " Tabitha replied.
"Hello Miss Luna." Harmony said.
"Hello Miss Tabitha, hello Harmony." Luna replied.
"I suppose I had better get going so the Harmony may get started, hmm?" Tabitha said with a smile.
"Oh, wait Miss Tabitha...!" Luna said.
"Yes?" Tabitha replied turning around from her car.
"You said that you were going to attend a new church as well, correct?" Luna asked.
"Yes..." Tabitha replied.
"Well then, you know the six girls that I told you about...?" Luna asked. Tabitha nodded in reply. "Well their families all go the same church, save for Sunset Shimmer, who sadly has no family, but she goes there too."
"Oh good! Which Church is it?" Tabitha asked.
"They go to Ponyville Baptist Church." Luna replied.
"Oh! Well thank you Miss Luna, we will certainly check it out!" Tabitha said with a smile. She gave Harmony a kiss on the forehead. "Good-bye honey. Love you."
"I love you too Mom. Bye!" Harmony said. She waved as her mom drove away.
Harmony turned to Luna who smiled. "Now then Miss Harmony, why don't we get you settled?"
"Sure..." Harmony said.
Harmony and Luna walked into the large school building. Harmony saw may students, she saw boys and girls, many teenagers, a few pre-teens and Harmony suddenly felt like she would fit in here very well. Luna took Harmony to her office where Harmony had to sign her name on a few pieces of paper. By the time they were done, it was lunchtime. Luna gave Harmony her class schedules and smiled.
"Would you like me to show you to the lunch room?" Luna asked.
"Yes please." Harmony replied.
Luna took Harmony to the lunch room, where Harmony saw so many things it made her eyes hurt ! There were so many colors of different students, it looked like a rainbow split into individual chairs! Luna took her over to a table where six girls sat. There was a girl with turquoise eyes and fiery red and yellow hair, there was a girl with royal purple hair and sapphire blue eyes, she looked like she was a princess, but Harmony seriously doubted it. There was a girl with cotton candy pink hair and sky blue eyes, Harmony guessed that part of her name had the word word 'pink' in it. There was a girl with rainbow colored hair and magenta eyes. There were two other girls, one had pink hair with turquoise eyes, and the other had blonde hair with a cowboy hat and green eyes. Harmony thought that out of all the students, this group was certainly the most colorful.
"Girls! This is Harmony, I trust that you will help her get started here?" Luna said.
The girls nodded and the pink one stood up and hugged Harmony "Yay! A new friend!" She exclaimed.
"Pinkie Pie! Put her down." The rainbow haired girl said.
The girl known as Pinkie Pie put Harmony down, but continued to hug her.
Luna smiled. "I will leave her in your...capable hands." Luna looked at the fiery haired girl with a warning. The girl smiled sheepishly and nodded.
Luna left and Harmony sat down next to the royal looking girl. The girl looked at Harmony and smiled.
"Hello Harmony, it is a pleasure to meet you, my name is Rarity." The girl said. "And of corse, you already know Pinkie Pie." Rarity looked at the crazy girl.
"Hello Harmony!" Pinkie said cheerfully. "Let me tell you who my friends are!"
Harmony nodded.
"Okay..." Pinkie started. " this is Rainbow Dash!"
"Hay!" Rainbow said.
Harmony smiled, and Pinkie continued. "And this is Sunset Shimmer!"
"Hello Harmony." The fiery haired girl said.
"This is Fluttershy!" Pinkie said.
"H-hello..." The girl said quietly.
"It's okay Fluttershy, it's not like she's gonna bite!" Pinkie said. "This is Applejack!"
"Howdy." Applejack said.
"And this is...oh right, that's it!" Pinkie said with a smile.
"Well...it's very nice to meet you all." Harmony said.
"It's nice to meet you too Harmony, and may I just say, your eyes are gorgeous!" Rarity said.
"Thank you!" Harmony replied.
"Are they color contacts, or are they natural?" Rarity asked.
"Natural!" Harmony replied with a smile.
"Wonderful!" Rarity said.
"They are pretty..." Fluttershy said quietly.
"Thank you, it's just the way the Lord made me!" Harmony said.
"Oh! Speaking of, do you go to church?" Rarity asked.
Harmony nodded. "Yes, Vice-Princeipal Luna told my Mom what church you guys all go to, and we're going to check it out!" Harmony said.
"Awesome!" Rainbow Dash spoke up. "Then we'll get to hand out more then ever!"
"Yeah, it's pretty cool." Harmony said.
"You know...there's something strange about these girls. " Harmony thought. "It must be just me...because some how they feel... Magical...

Harmony walked home with her new friends happily, she had invited them to dinner and they gladly excepted. However, Harmony felt bad that Sunset Shimmer was unable to make it, and she couldn't help but wonder why. The first day of school had been amazing! And Harmony was glad to have friends already. When they got to her house, it was filled with boxes. Pinkie ran around the house, constantly saying:
"IT'S SO BOXY!!!" She yelled.
When she said it for the hundreth time Rainbow Dash decided that she couldn't take it anymore. "PINKIE!!! CALM DOWN ...we get it, it's boxy...now please stop!"
Pinkie stood beside Harmony and leaned over to her. "Your house is very booooxy !" She whisper yelled.
"Yeah, we just moved in." Harmony replied with a smile. "Oh! Which reminds me. ~Moooom, I'm home!" Harmony sang out.
"One moment dear! I'm a bit busy!" Tabitha yelled back.
"Mom! Would you like to meet my friends?" Harmony called.
"Oh yes! Be there in a minute!" Tabitha said.
Tabitha stumbled into the room literally. This drew a few giggles from the girls.
"Now then..." Tabitha said with a smile. "Why don't you introduce me to your friends?"
"Aright!" Harmony said turning to her friends. "This is Rarity." Harmony said gesturing to the girl with purple hair.
Tabitha walked up to Rarity and shook her hand. "Nice to meet you Rarity. I'm Miss Tabitha."
"Nice to meet you Miss Tabitha." Rarity replied.
"And then this is Fluttershy." Harmony said looking at the shy girl.
Tabitha looked at the girl who hid behind her hair. "H-hello Miss Tabitha..." She said.
"Hello Fluttershy." Tabitha said with a smile, gently shaking the girl's hand.
Harmony smiled. "This is Applejack."
"Howdy Miss!" Applejack said with a smile, extending out her hand.
"Well howdy there Applejack!" Tabitha said shaking the cowgirl's hand.
"That's Rainbow Dash." Harmony said.
"Hey Miss Tabitha!" Rainbow said shaking Tabitha's hand.
"Hey there Rainbow Dash." Tabitha said.
Harmony giggled. "And that pinkie blurry zooming around our house, is Pinkie Pie!"
Pinkie zoomed in front of Tabitha and smiled. "Hello!"
"Why Hello Pinkie Pie!" Tabitha said shaking her hand.
"Yourhouseisrealyboxy, it'sprettycool!!!" Pinkie exclaimed, slurring all of her words together.
Tabitha and Harmony looked at each other and giggled.
"And last but not least...Oh." Harmony said with a frown.
"What dear." Tabitha asked.
"Sunset Shimmer couldn't make it." Harmony said.
"Well that's okay, maybe next time." Tabitha replied. "So...who wants some spaghetti?"
"Yay!" Pinkie exclaimed. The other girls nodded.
"Alright, who would like to help me prepare it?" Tabitha asked.
Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Harmony, and Applejack volunteered, while Rainbow explored the house, cooking wasn't her thing, plus, this was a nice place.
When supper was done, Harmony's dad, John had gotten home. He too received as introduction to Harmony's friends.
Pinkie Pie had seconds, even thirds of Tabitha's delicious spaghetti! Harmony was glad that her parents approved of her friends. The girls eventually said goodbye, and Harmony went to bed. She didn't know what it was about those girls, but when she was around them there was something that made her feel like they were important.

The next morning, Harmony was startled awake by her beeping alarm clock. She turned it off and buried her face in her pillow. Suddenly she shot up and gasped, realizing that it was inly the second day of school and she already had friends to look forward to seeing! She jumped out of bed and got dressed. She went to the table and ate her oatmeal.
"Alright Mom! I'm ready to go!" Harmony said grabbing her backpack.
"Wow! You certainly got up quickly, usually, Mom sends me in to kick you out of bed." John said as he also got ready to leave.
"I know, but I've got friends that I can't wait to see!" Harmony smiled bouncing up and down as Tabitha came into the room.
"Alright Harmony, I'm coming." Tabitha turned to her husband. "Be careful." She said, she gave him a kiss and then turned back to Harmony as John went out the door.
Harmony was pointing to her tongue and pretending to gag! "Ew! Grose, mushy stuff!" She said.
"Oh stop it you!" Tabitha smiled. "It won't be long before you find yourself falling for someone at school."
"Oh please Mom, I'm not that kind of girl. I'm not into boys, I'm into friends and singing and stuff." Harmony said.
"We'll see how long it takes." Tabitha said.
"Oh? Well don't hold your breath!" Harmony said getting into the car.
"I don't have to." Tabitha replied.
They drove out of the neighborhood and into town, it took twenty minutes to get to school depending on traffic.
Harmony jumped out of the car when they got there. "Love you Mom, bye!" She yelled as she took off toward the school.
"Have a nice day!" Tabitha called back as she pulled out of the parking lot.
Harmony ran as fast as she could to find her friends. First she found Sunset Shimmer leaning up against the statue.
"Hi Sunset!" Harmony said.
"Oh, hay!" Sunset said.
"Are you waiting for the girls?" Harmony asked.
"Yep." Sunset replied.
"Oh, are you guys gonna hang out after school?" Harmony inquired.
"Yeah, why?" Sunset said.
"Because I have something to ask all of you guys later." Harmony answered.
"Okay." Sunset replied.
Sunset and Harmony turned to see the five girls approaching and they smiled. They met up and started to head to class. Sunset and Harmony had Bible Class, while the others were in History, Science, and Math.
When Harmony and Sunset got to class, Harmony noticed something.
"Sunset...do you not have a Bible?" Harmony asked.
Sunset hung her head. "No, I can't afford one."
"Would you like to share mine?" Harmony asked. She pulled out the Holy Book and handed it to Sunset.
Sunset's eyes widened at the sight of the Book. It was a beautiful cyan color with Harmony's initials at the bottom: Harmony L. Joy.
"Sure!" Sunset said. "I love the color!"
"I'm glad you like it!" Harmony said.
"Like it? I love it!" Sunset said.
Harmony smiled and turned her attention to the teacher. Mrs. Allen told the kids to stand up to start with the pledge.
When they said the pledge, they said the Lord's Prayer and sat down. After singing a few songs such as Standing on the Promises, and Tell the Truth, the Bible lesson began.

As they left Reading Class for lunch, Harmony and Sunset got to know each other a little more.
"So Sunset, do you think that you could come over for dinner tonight?" Harmony asked.
"Maybe, I dunno." Sunset answered.
"Why couldn't make last night." Harmony asked.
"I have an after school job on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays." Sunset replied.
"Oh." Harmony said.
When they arrived at the cafeteria, they quickly found the girls and sat down.
Harmony sat down and found that there was something in her seat, and when presser came upon it, it made a familiar funny noise. Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash immediately broke out in hysterical laughter.
With a striate face, Harmony reached under her and grabbed the whoopee-cousion.
She raised an eyebrow. "Really, what are you? Three?"
"Aren't you the least bit amused?" Pinkie Pie asked.
Harmony's facial expression softened. "You know, I have to admit..." Harmony broke out in laughter. "That was funny."
Pinkie and Rainbow Dash laughed with her. Applejack laughed a bit, Fluttershy and Sunset giggled, and Rarity simply smiled.
Harmony suddenly remembered something, and decided that she might as well ask them now.
"I have something to as-" Harmony interrupted be the bell.
"Don't worry darling..." Rarity said. "you can ask us when school is out."
"Okay." Harmony said with a smile.
Now, Harmony was joining Pinkie Pie in Language Class. When they arrived, Pinkie took a seat beside Harmony and handed her a peppermint.
"Oh, thanks." Harmony said.
Pinkie Pie smiled and nodded. Their teacher, Mrs. Tupua greeted them and began her lesson.

Now came Harmony's favorite class: Science! She was joining Fluttershy this time walking into the classroom. Harmony couldn't help but notice the cup-full of gummy worms on the teachers desk. Fluttershy sat in the back where she usually faded out and listened to the teacher. It was five minute before class and Harmony decided to go sit with her.
"Fluttershy, why do you sit back here?" Harmony asked.
"Because I don't...um like to be the...center of...attention." Fluttershy responded.
"Oh, I understand." Harmony replied.
Their teacher walked into the room and greeted them. Mr. Howe was quite funny, and Harmony couldn't wait to see what they were learning today. She quickly took it back, the were leaning about worms.

Harmony and Fluttershy soon walked out of Science and joined the others. They walked to the café on the corner of the street and had a few smoothies.
Harmony found it the opportune moment to ask them her question.
"Girl. I have something to ask you all..." She began.
"Sure! Asked away Harmony!" Pinkie Pie replied.
"Okay...I know this may sound a bit crazy but..." Harmony paused. "Why is it that when I around you guys...something about it seems...Magical?"

"WHAT?!" Harmony exclaimed.
"Yep, that's why." Rarity stated flatly.
"Wait wait wait! Are you saying that there's a magical portal in front of the school, that leads to a magical land called Equestria? And there's a magical princess pony called Twilight Sparkle A.K.A. the Princess of Magic, who defeated Sunset Shimmer when she was a power crazed luna-tic, no offense, and you all were quote on quote'infected' by this 'Equestrian Magic' and you gained pony ears, tails, and wings !?!?" Harmony exclaimed.
"That...pretty much sums it up." Sunset replied.
"T-this...this is crazy!" Harmony said.
"Yes it is..." Pinkie Pie said. "but it's also true!"
"No...way!" Harmony said.
"Uh, yes way." Rainbow said.
Harmony breathed heavily, she couldn't believe it, and suddenly one question zipped through her brain: "ARE THESE PEOPLE SANE?!?!?! "
"Are you alright sugarcube?" Applejack asked with a little concern.
Harmony fainted.
"Well..." Rainbow Dash sighed. "I saw that one coming."
"Well if you did, why did you not care to TELL US?!" Rarity asked.
Rainbow chuckled. "'Cause it's more fun!"
The whole group face-palmed. (Save RD)
"Why don't we get some water and wake her up?" Sunset asked.
"OH! I'll get the water!" Pinkie exclaimed before she zoomed off.
In one second she was back with a big cup of water. Applejack and Rainbow grabbed Harmony and brought her outside. Pinkie splashed the cup of water and Harmony's face, which caused to her to wake up breathing heavily.
"Okay...I...must have...been dreaming, because I thought I heard you guy say that you were somehow magical...or, something like that..." Harmony stuttered as she woke up.
"Nope, you heard right!" Pinkie answered.
"Okay...I think I got it, but just in case...tell me the whole thing again I wasn't listening." Harmony said.
"Okay..." Pinkie paused and inhaled deeply before saying:magical portalinfrontoftheschool,thatleadstoamagical landcalledEquestria!Andthere'sa magical princessponycalledTwilightSparkleA.K.A.thePrincessofMagic,whodefeatedSunsetShimmerwhenshewasapowercrazedluna-tic,nooffense,andwewerequoteon quote'infected' bythis'EquestrianMagic' andwegainedponyears,tails,andwings !!!"
While Harmony and Sunset Shimmer stared at Pinkie Pie like they had seen a ghost, Rainbow Dash and Applejack shrugged unsurprised.
"How? In the name of cinnamon buns, did she say that in five-point-three seconds?!" Harmony asked.
"O...Kay, that's just...impossible." Sunset said.
"You can't say that anymore silly." Pinkie Pie replied taping Sunset on the nose.
"So I have one thing to ask..." Harmony said.
"Just one? Really?" Pinkie asked.
"Well, for now." Harmony replied. "Sunset Shimmer was a, power-crazed-luna-tic? I can't even imagine, she seems so nice." Harmony smiled at the fiery-haired girl.
"Well...the whole reason that their magical is because...I went through the portal when it opened and I stole Twilight's crown." Sunset answered. "Her crown was magical, and as implied, she was the Element of magic..." Sunset received a curious look from Harmony. "I'll explain later. The crown would have given me the power to take over the school and Equestria, but fate had something else in mind...

"Sorry it had to be this way..." Sunset Shimmer paused as she teleported in front of the mirror. " Princess ." With that, Sunset jumped through mirror, not knowing that her plan, had already been foiled.
A young girl sat by a statue at a school, her Animal Shelter fliers strewn about. She was crying, why did no-one want to volunteer? Animals needed help, and no-one even cared!
*BONK!*
"Ouch!" The young girl exclaimed, something had hit her. It was a crow, but not just a everyday, ordinary crow, it was the Fall Formal Crown. It was gold with a pink, six-pointed star at the top. "How do that get there?" She thought . "No matter, I'd better take it to Principal Celestia!"

"Thank you Flutteshy." Principal Celestia said. "But...where did you get it?" She asked
"It was in the front, I was just sitting by the statue, and it hit me in the head!" Fluttershy replied.
"Hmmm..." Celestia trailed off. "Okay, thank you though."
"No problem!" Fluttershy smiled.
Fluttershy exited the office, not knowing that Sunset Shimmer was about to get on to her...

"So Fluttershy found the crown and returned it to Principal Celestia, thus ruining your plan?" Harmony asked.
"Yes." Sunset replied. "But Twilight followed me through the portal, and that changed every thing..."

"How dare you speak yo her that way!"
"What did you say?!"
"I said, how dare you speak yo her that way!"
"You must be new here, I can speak to anyone, anyway I want."
Sunset walked away after glaring at a student, which caused him to hide inside his locker.

"Twilight followed you thought the portal and stood up for the students in the school?" Harmony asked.
"Yes, and she also was the one to bring the school together against me, but what she did helped me to see the light, and she let her friends teach me about friendship." Sunset replied. "I'll never forget that day, the day everything started to change..."

"The crown may be one your head Sunset Shimmer, but you cannot wield it, because you do not posses the most powerful magic of all! The Magic of Friendship!"
The friends bang together creating the shape of a heart. A rainbow shot into the shy before starting a swift decent down toward Demon Sunset Shimmer, hitting her.
"What. Is. Happening?!"
"Here and in Equestria, it is the only Magic that can truly unite us all!"
A smaller version of the rainbow shot out hitting the zombie-fied students and breaking the spell on then as well as the demon forms of Snips and Snails.
When the light disappeared, the six lie on the ground, and Sunset lie in a large crater.

"Woah! That must have been cool!" Harmony exclaimed.
"Cool? IT. WAS. AWESOME!" Rainbow Dash exclaimed. "We had ears and tails, and then Twilight, Fluttershy, and I had wings, and it was so awesome!"
"Calm down there Rainbow." Applejack said.
"So what happened at the Fall Formal that night?" Harmony asked.
"Well..." Rarity began. "Twilight got her crown back, and she got to dance with her crush, and yeah it was fun." Rarity said with a memorable expression.
She suddenly received a glare from the other girls.
"What?!" Rarity asked. "She asked, I answered."
"Ahem, Rarity, you uh...could of left a part out there." Applejack said. Rarity looked as if she didn't know until Applejack gave a 'You-Know-What-I'm-Talking-About' look.
"Oh...right...sorry." Rarity said.
"What?" Harmony asked.
"Like...we thought you be curious as to who Twilight's cru-" Pinkie Pie was cut off by a hand covering her mouth.
Rainbow glared at her. "Are you like, trying to embarrass Twilight?!" Pinkie responded with a shake of her head. "Then shut-up!" Rainbow said through clenched teeth.
"What's the big deal? I wasn't gonna ask." Harmony said. " Besides, I'm not into boys, I like music and dancing and drawing and other stuffs. I'm not into mushy stuff like that."
"I sooooooooooooooooooooo agree!" Rainbow Dash said.
"Anyway...I had better be gettin' home." Harmony said. "Sunset, would you like to join my family for dinner?"
"Sure, why not...just please don't tell them about my past as CHS, I would hate for them to think of me as a bad influence." Sunset replied.
"Okay then." Harmony answered.
With that, the girls said goodbye as Harmony and Sunset left. Back at Harmony's house, the boxes were not as numerous, but they were still there.
"~Moooom, I home and I brought Sunset Shimmer!" Harmony yelled.
"Oh! One moment dear!" Tabitha yelled.
When Harmony's mom managed to fumble into the room she smiled at Sunset.
"Hello Sunset, I'm Miss Tabitha. How are you this evening?" Tabitha asked.
"I doing well, how are you?" Sunset replied.
"I doing fine, I'm living amongst the world of boxes, but I'm just dandy!" Tabitha replied cheerfully. "So, do your parents know that you're here tonight?"
"No, because there're not here." Sunset hung her head.
"Oh! I'm sorry, did I hit the touchy subject?" Tabitha asked with worry.
"No..." Sunset replied. "it's fine."
"Okay then." Tabitha said. "So, I heard you go to church with your other friends."
Sunset nodded. "Yeah, I have to leave a hour before it starts though."
"Why?" Tabitha asked.
"I have to walk...well most of the time." Sunset replied. " Ever once and a while, Rarity's parents come to pick me up."
"Oh dear! Well, we're going to check out the church that you guys go to, so maybe we could take you." Tabitha said. "We do have room in the car."
"Cool!" Sunset exclaimed. "I would like that, thank you!"
"No problem!" Tabitha replied.
John walked in the door at that point and smiled at his wife and daughter. "Well now, it looks like I have some one else to meet." He said.
"Yes Dad, this is Sunset Shimmer!" Harmony replied cheerfully.
"Well hello there, Sunset Shimmer." John said shaking her hand. "How are you?"
"I'm wonderful!" Sunset replied.
"Good!" John said. "Now then, why don't we get some dinner started, I'm hungry!"
"Well that's better than being hangry!" Harmony said with a smile.
"Ha ha very funny, stinker!" John said ruffling his daughter's hair.
"What's hangry?" Sunset asked.
"Hungry and angry." Harmony replied.
"Ooooh!" Sunset said before she started giggling.
For dinner, they had ravioli, with Hawaiian rolls. Sunset enjoyed every moment of it, she had never tasted such good food. When eight-o-clock rolled around, Tabitha and Harmony drove Sunset home. They were shocked that she lived in an apartment, but to Sunset, it was home sweet home.
Harmony wanted to do something for Sunset, she was a truly blessed girl when Sunset barely had anything. Suddenly, it hit her.
"Mom...I wanna by get Sunset a Bible." Harmony said.
"Doesn't she have one?" Tabitha asked.
"No ma'am, I know it isn't much, but I would like to get one for her." Harmony replied.
"Well maybe we can go tomorrow and by her one." Tabitha said with a smile.
"Thanks Mom!" Harmony said.
"You're welcome, and I'm sure Sunset will too. Good night Harmony." Tabitha said.
"Good night Mom!" Harmony said. Tabitha turned off the light and Harmony cheerfully drifted off to sleep.

The next morning Harmony got up and asked if they could pick Sunset up for school, Tabitha gladly said yes.
As they swung by, they found Sunset leaving. Tabitha drove up and rolled down the window.
"Need a ride there miss pretty?" Tabitha asked with a smile.
"...Sure!" Sunset exclaimed.
The girls talked in the back as they drove along. When they got there Harmony and Sunset got out.
"Thanks for the ride Miss Tabitha!" Sunset said.
"Your welcome!" Tabitha replied.
"Love you Mom! Bye!" Harmony yelled as Tabitha pulled out of the parking space and waved.
"Bye girls, have fun!" Tabitha called as she drove out.
Harmony turned to Sunset. "So, what class do you have this morning?"
"I have..." Sunset looked at her schedule." It says 'Meeting in the Gym'." Sunset replied.
"Me too...I wonder why?" Harmony said.
"Because Principal Celestia and Vice-Princeipal Luna have a surprise for the whole school!" A voice said behind them.
Harmony and Sunset turned to see Pinkie Pie and the others.
"How do you know?" Harmony asked.
"Well..." Pinkie began before pointing to the words on the schedule. "it doesn't say why does it?"
"No but...well she does have a point." Sunset said.
"Well what are we waiting for? Lets go find out what it is already!" Rainbow Dash spoke up.
"Yeah, lets go." Harmony said.
They went to the gym with the other students. And found that it surely was a surprise!
"Students here at CHS..." Celeste addressed the crowd. " we are please to announce that this year we will be hosting a High School Musical Showcase!"
Harmony jumped up and down in joy, she couldn't believe it, a musical showcase!
"This is so exciting!" Harmony exclaimed.
"I know right, this is gonna be awesome!" Rainbow Dash replied.
"So, now that there is going to be a showcase does that mean we have to make up a band name and everything?" Rarity asked
"Yep, and we're gonna have to right our own songs." Rainbow replied.
"Oh...well maybe I could...you know, d-do that?" Fluttershy asked.
"Sure Flutters, you can write some." Rainbow Dash answered.
"Oh...yay!" Fluttershy exclaimed.
"Oh Oh Oh!" Pinkie exclaimed. "And we'll need instruments!"
"Yep!" Rainbow Dash replied.
"So...what are we going to play?" Harmony asked.
"I was thinking that I could be lead singer, and I also know how to play guitar." Rainbow said.
"So, how many band members are there going to be?" Sunset asked.
"I dunno...maybe...me, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy!" Rainbow said.
"Oh." Sunset said hanging her head. She felt a hand on her shoulder.
Harmony smiled. "It's okay, I wanted to be included too."
"What instruments are we gonna to play?" Applejack asked.
"Well...as I said, I'm gonna play my...oh right...we need to run to the Guitar Center." Rainbow said.
"Why?" Harmony asked...
"Rainbow Dash, you have a guitar you can play, you don't need a new one just for the Showcase." Rarity said.
You'll understand..." Rainbow replied.

After a few days of planing, the girls got their instruments sorted out:
Rainbow Dash was lead singer and played the Guitar .
Pinkie Pie was on the Drums .
Rarity played the Key-tar .
Fluttershy played the Tambourine .
And Applejack played the Bass .
Harmony hadn't been with them, since it all happened over the weekend, she had been at a plane museum with her dad.
Harmony wished that she could be lead singer, she loved singing, more than anything! And the best part was she would get to sing with her best friends. Harmony couldn't help but feel bad for Sunset Shimmer though, she was hated amongst the school, with no-one but them as her friends.
One day at lunch, Harmony found a song that would be encouraging to the school before the showcase started. Harmony wanted to lift Sunset's spirits, to make her happy, even though she wasn't going to be in the showcase.
But she need Pinkie Pie's help. As lunch began, students began to poor into the room, and Harmony found that the best time to start.
"Pinkie..." Harmony whispered into the hyper girl's ear. "I need you help with something."
"Okie-Dokie-Lokie!" Pinkie whispered back.
The girls got up from the table and went out the door.
"I wonder what those two are up to?" Rarity said.
Harmony told Pinkie what to do, and Harmony would do the rest. Pinkie responded with a hard nod and a mock-salute.
"Where are those two?" Applejack asked.
"I dunno, they've been gone for about ten minutes now." Rainbow replied.
Suddenly, there was a noise. Everyone turned their heads to see where it was coming from, what they saw was Pinkie drumming her drum-sticks on a nearby table. Pinkie then pulled out two big spoons and started tapping them on a tray rack. The students began to clap and stomp to the beat Pinkie was creating.
Some of the students began to pull out instruments, such as Recorders, Chellos, and Violins. Some students began to dance on the tables, and Harmony saw her que!
She ran into the room and jumped onto the main table where she began to sing!

"BREAK!" The students yelled in reply again. Harmony was surprised that they had caught on so fast, but she continued to sing. And the student continued to dance.

A lot of the students gave Harmony complements on her singing and insisted that she be in the showcase.
Harmony approached her friends, who were now back in their seats since they had been dancing.
"How did I do?" Harmony asked with a smile.
"You did amazing darling!" Rarity exclaimed. "I never knew you could sing so well!"
"Yeah, that was amazing!" Sunset said.
"Beautiful!" Fluttershy exclaimed.
"It was a nice workout too!" Applejack said.
"It was pretty awesome!" Rainbow Dash said.
"Thank you, all of you!" Harmony said.
"Maybe you can sing a few of our songs..." Rainbow said.
"Really?!" Harmony's face lit up. "You mean it?!"
"Well...yeah." Rainbow replied.
"Thank you!" Harmony exclaimed as she hugged the rainbow haired girl.
"You're welcome, now could...you please...allow me to...breath " Rainbow replied.
"Oh! Sorry." Harmony said as she released her friend.
The girls went their separate ways for their classes.
When History came around, Harmony was with Sunset Shimmer. Harmony noticed that Sunset seemed sad, and Harmony knew why, but she decided to ask...
"Hey Sunset, what's wrong?"
Sunset jumped, clearly she hadn't known that Harmony was there. Sunset looked up at Harmony. "Um...nothing..." She said.
"Come on Sunset, I'm your friend you can tell me anything." Harmony said with a smile.
Sunset thought for a moment. "Well...I-"
"Okay Class, settle down and get to your seats." Miss Dabbelt said, interrupting Sunset Shimmer.
"Dang it!... " Harmony thought. "Well, I can ask her after school. "

Harmony gasped in her mom's car on her way to Mardel as she remembered something.
"Dang it!" She exclaimed.
"What Harmony?" Tabitha asked.
"Well earlier today, I noticed something was wrong with Sunset Shimmer. I meant to asked her after school but I forgot." Harmony replied.
"Well, maybe your gift will cheer her up." Tabitha said.
"I hope so." Harmony said.
Tabitha and Harmony soon arrived at Mardel where they went searching for a red Bible. When they finally came across one, they walked to the counter.
"We'd like a name inscription please." Tabitha said, handing him the Bible.
The man at the counter nodded and took the Book. " Write the name down here please." He handed Tabitha a piece of paper.
Tabitha grabbed a pen and put down Sunset's name. She handed it back to him.
He took the Bible over to a machine that would put her name on it. "Would you like the name in silver or gold?" He asked.
"Gold please." Tabitha replied.
When done the man handed Tabitha the Bible. She paid for it and went on their way.
"I hope Sunset Shimmer likes this... " Harmony thought.

Harmony awoke the next morning, and quickly got up.
Tabitha drove her to school like normal, Harmony said goodbye and ran into the school.
"Hay Harmony." Rainbow Dash said, leaning on the statue.
"Hay..." Harmony said.
"Do ya wanna hang out before lunch, we've been given extra time to set up and practice." Rainbow said.
"I should be able to hang out while you guys are practicing, but Mom signed me up for some private dancing lessons." Harmony replied.
"Dance lessons?" Rainbow asked. "I didn't know they did that here."
"Yep. thirty-minute Dance Class a little before lunch." Harmony said.
"Cool." Rainbow replied.
Soon the rest of the girls arrived and wen to their classes. Before Harmony knew it, she was in Dance class.
Of corse since it was private she was the only student. Fifteen minutes into the class, Harmony's teacher: Miss Carter had some work to do in the cafeteria.
"Practice the dance I showed you while I'm gone, and we can review it tomorrow." She said.
"Yes ma'am Miss Carter." Harmony replied.
Harmony danced to her heart's content. The dance went perfectly with a song she knew, so she hummed it while she danced.
When she was done, Harmony put up her shoes, but when she turned around, she saw her friends. (Save Sunset Shimmer.)
"Wow!" Rarity said. "You're a really good dancer!"
"Thanks!" Harmony replied. "But... what are you guys doin' here?"
"We came to get you." Rainbow said.
"Oh, okay." Harmony replied with a smile. "Where's Sunset?"
"She's already there." Pinkie Pie said.
The girls walked to their practice room. Sunset Shimmer sat on the piano that Rarity had brought in.
"Hi Harmony." Sunset said.
"Hi Sunset." Harmony replied. "So did you guys get your banner done?"
"Yep." Pinkie said. "It smells like cake!"
"It...does?" Harmony asked, a bit confused at why Pinkie would make the banner smell like cake.
"Um...it does." Fluttershy said.
"Yeah not to mention, Sunset got totally embarrassed inform of the whole school." Rainbow said.
The girls glared at her. (Save Sunset.)
"She's right, I'm never gonna live that down." Sunset groaned.
"You were pretty bad at the Fall Formal..." Fluttershy pointed out.
"A demon, I turned into a raging she-demon." Sunset deadpanned.
"And tried to turn everyone her into teenage zombies for your own personal army." Pinkie said.
"Yeah, that too!" Sunset said.
"Oh, don't worry darling, you have us, and we've forgiven you for your past...boo-boos." Rarity said.
"To be honest, I think the whole experience brought everyone at Canterlot High, closer than ever before." Applejack said, tuning her Bass before turning to Pinkie and giving a nod.
"One..Two..Three" Pinkie announced smacking her drum sticks together.

Harmony and Sunset both clapped.
"That was awesome!" Harmony exclaimed. Then she realized something. "Wait...is that what you meant by pony ears, wings, and tails?"
"Yes..." Rarity replied. "I still can't believe that happens when we play. I've got to look into some accessories, something that looks good in a longer ponytail, OH maybe some clip-on earnings for when I get those adorable pony ears!"
"Ah just wonder why it happens..." Applejack said. "Princess Twilight took her crown back to Equestria, wouldn't that mean she took the magic back with her?"
"Who cares why it happens..." Rainbow replied. "it makes my bang totally awesome!"
"Uh! Your band?" Rarity asked.
"Duh? It was my idea to start the Rainbooms so we could be in the Showcase..." Rainbow said. "plus, I'm the lead singer and guitarist."
"Modist much?" Harmony whispered to Sunset.
Suddenly, there was a knock before the door opened. A boy with blue hair and blue eyes walked into the room.
"Hey, I heard you outside, you guy are sounding really tight." He said.
"Yeah, we're getting' there..." Rainbow said. " Rarity is still coming in a bit late on the second verse, and Applejacks Base Solo could use a little work. They'll get it in time for the showcase."
Rarity and Applejack both glared at her from behind.
"I don't suppose any friends from out of town might come, I mean, it'd be a special charity event and all." He said
"Sorry Flash..." Applejack replied. "I don't think Twilight is gonna be back at Canterlot High anytime soon."
"Okay, I just, you know...thought I'd ask uh...keep on rockin' it." He said bumping into a wall and then leaving the room awkwardly.
"Well..." Rarity giggled."someone is quite the smitten-kitten." She turned to Sunset Shimmer. "Oh! Sorry, I always forget that you and Flash used to be an item."
"It's okay..." Sunset replied. "Flash is a great guy and all, but I never really 'liked him liked him', I was just using him to become more popular." She groaned. "The old me really was just awful wasn't she?"
The girls kind of mumbled while Pinkie gave a simple, "Yup!"
"But the important thing is that you've turned yerself around." Applejack said with a smile.
"Thanks Applejack, but I don't think that everyone else at CHS feel the same way." Sunset replied.
"Okay..." Harmony spoke up. "did I miss something, or is it just me?"
"Oh sorry." Rarity said, turning toward the girl. "That was Flash Sentry."
"He's the one Twilight has a crush on, and now I know that the felling is mutual." Pinkie Pie said, balancing a cymbal on her head.
All except Harmony glared at the pink girl.
"Oops." Pinkie said with an innocent smile.
"That halo of yours is hangin' of one o' your horns." Applejack said.
"Hay, I'm that one who asked." Harmony said in Pinkie's defense.
"Yes, but there is a thing such as too much info." Rainbow said, glaring at Pinkie again.
"I don't care." Harmony said. She suddenly remembered something when:
"Sunset Shimmer, please report to the main foyer " Vice-Principal Luna said through the P.A. System.
"Gotta run, I volunteered to show some new students around the school..." Sunset said starting to exit the room. "I thought that it would be good for them to get to know the new me before they here'd all the stuff about the old me." She said with a smile.
The girls waved as Sunset left.
"We've still got a few minute before lunch stars..." Rainbow said, turning to her friends. "What'd ya say we do Awesome As I Wanna Be?"
"Um...Rainbow Dash, I was wondering if...we could maybe play the sing I wrote." Fluttershy asked.
"Uh yeah, well get to it." Rainbow said, waving it off.
Harmony looked out the door when she realized something...she was really hungry.
At lunch, Harmony and the girls sat down with their plates and treys full.
Sunset entered the room and sat next to Applejack.
"So, how was the tour?" The country girl asked.
"I don't know, these girls...there was something 'off' about them." Sunset replied with a worried expression.
"You mean off like this..." Pinkie said, making a mustache-beard with her hair. "Or off like this..." She said, putting lettuce on her face and two carrots in her mouth to make her look like a vampire. "Oh! Or or-"
"Why don't we just let her tell us?" Rainbow asked with a amused look on her face.
Pinkie nodded, letting a carrot fall from her mouth onto her plate.
"That's just it, I can't put my finger on it..." Sunset replied. "They just acted sort of, strange around me. Maybe someone already talked to them, and told them what I did. So much for making a good first impression." Sunset sighed and lay her head on the table.
"Uh huh..." Fluttershy said. The girls looked at her. "Oh, I'm sure that's no it."
The girls gave her a 'No Helping' look, and she sunk in her chair as Sunset looked up.
"Sunset, I'm sure no one did. The people who they ket was Vice-Princeipal luna and then...you." Harmony said. "That is, unless someone told them before they entered the building."
"There's always a 'But' or 'Unless; isn't there?" Sunset asked.
The girls were suddenly interrupted as the doors swung open...
