The Conversion Bureaus are not what the world had anticipated. People were welcoming the Conversion Bureau and their "kindness" to humanity. There came one day when some people would say no to the idea of abandoning your species for the illusion of happiness, as they used to say ignorance is bliss. It must have been very blissful to be converted.
