Having Fun

“Get back here right now!” screamed Midnight.

Death Wing strolled through the forest, his body felt naked without any armor.  He thought to himself, “What a useless piece of raw materials, I would cut this down and take it back to The Rig.”  Perhaps he would enslave these ponies or perhaps once he returned to the Enclave, he’d just purge the place.  Soon he arrived in Ponyville, he recognized it from the ruins, as it started to rain and so he elected to find shelter.  He trotted in disgust until he saw Rainbow Dash, a comrade and praised commander, and elected to stay with her for the time being.

As he trotted toward her he called, “Rainbow, Commander Rainbow Dash”.  She seemed surprised and off balance from his call and flew towards him.  “Who are you supposed to be and what did you call me?” said Rainbow Dash.  Death Wing quickly apologised for the confusion and asked her why the town wasn’t in ruins and she was without her officer’s uniform.  “What are you talking about weirdo?” she retorted, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”  “Well then, may I just stay with you for the night as I figure out this confusion?”  She seemed rather hesitant and then proceeded, “S… sure… come on”.  “Thank you Rainbow Dash.”

The night was long and saddening but Death Wing learned to not give in to such emotions.  “Heres a pillow and some covers, you can sleep practically anywhere if you want”.  “Thanks, if I had my equipment I wouldn’t burden you like this”.  “Its fine but who are you?”.  He turned to her, “I’m Death Wing, commander, soldier, pegasus.  I’m not much else”.  “I still don’t know what your talking about, you know that right?”.  “I know but still thanks, I’ll figure out some way to repay you”.  He laid down to sleep and did for a few hours until he heard a noise.  “Those muties I found earlier with Midnight would appear to have found me”.
