I warn you. Stay away.

Eyes flash bright, jolting back and forth in the dead of night. Veils of darkness lay over the land, summoning themselves from under every bed, in every basement, around every gravestone, and from each dying lightbulb. Dare to look closely, closer than you ever have before. Don't run off in fear, explore the unknown, no matter how hard your heart pounds. Screams echo from every fiber of silence, chose which you hear. The deadly silence or the overwhelming cacophony. Let your mind chose, logic or wonder. The darkness builds itself up bigger, more and more of it gathering in a deep haze. The absence of all light, the presence of all color. What makes it so menacing? Trust me here, you will surely find out. You dive in head first, only to bury yourself too deep. Trapped in a black hole you can never escape. Whispers rushing past at deafening tones and speeds. Do what your heart tells you. Scream. Cry. Panic. Let yourself grow oh-so afraid. The darkness feeds off your pounding heart, your rapid breath, your frantic mind. It lures you in, prompting you to encase yourself in the night. Once there, your thoughts turn from black and white to shades of grey. The darkness can manipulate minds, do what it wants. Let it engulf you. Use you. Cast you off in the shadows of ebony mist.

I urge you. Come inside.
