On this dark cold winter night I lay apon a grassy hill and watch the moon blurry light scemmer across a sea of dark clouds. Laying on my back I move my arms and lay them behind my head to give my neck a rest. Longer I layed on hill still watching the moon blur getting tired as time flys by but soon as I close my eyes I fall to sleep.
I slowly open my eyes but blinded by a bright light I quickly closed them again. Covering my eyes and slowly opening them again, I see a bright blue sky with no clouds in sight. Slowly my eyes start to ingest to the light and put down my arm to feel a cold wet surface. I look down at my arm to see cotton white snow throughout the plain. 'how did I not die of frost bit and why do I not feel cold' I thought. I raise my arm up to my face and stared at it for a moment. ' it's not even blue..' I put down my arm and slowly get up from where I was sleeping. I look around the area just to see a sea of white snow glistening by the suns bright rays.
As stream of questions flow in my mind, I hear a soft yet loud voice echo behind me " Luna..Luna!? Why are you here and What are you doing out here without a coat"? I knew that motherly voice any where. I turn around and see my older , Tia , standing on top of a hill with her heavy duty super coat on and bright pink boots on. " Hi Tia"!!! I yelled waveing my left arm fast as I could. "Luna stop acting like a idiot it's way to cold to be joking around" she said rocking her self back and forth trying to warm up. I let a little moan and ran up the cotton white hill to where Tia was freezing. She slowly walk towards me and gave me a tight hug squeezing my ribs. She lets go, and stares at me with a ' I'm-angry but to cold to expresse it' face " " I'm mad" Tia says with a shivering tone. "And cold.." I laugh but stareing at Tia's red frozen face made my little chuckles die. "Luna lets go inside before-aww" Tia face turns a light color of green and thinking that she was gonna barf I ran down the hill into the house "I GOT TO GO"!!!! She yells behind me.
As I quickly ran inside the log cabin, Tia runs down the hill sliping on ice and slideing right into the cabin. I closed the door as Tia stands up and slaps my face. Tia walk toward the fireplace and turns me "My face, my butt, my hands and my butt is freezing cold. But look at you, you look like you were inside this whole time!!!! Why is that?" She says taking her heavy duty coat and boots off. " I don't know" I say dropping myself on our long grey couch. Tia sits at the edge of the couch and removes 15 layers of socks off her feet. " Luna, how do you not know? You were sleeping in snow, through the whole night with only your short dress on which you really need to get rid of because those are shooooooort" she says pointing at my legs. I look down, look right back Tia, and look right back at my legs. "This isn't short and I really have no idea how I survived sleeping snow for the whole night. I don't even remember going outside " I said walk towards the kitchen." Of course you don't remember you stayed up past your bed time" she said running towards me. " Sister for past weeks you been able to be warm in cold and being able to float without you wings" she said following me around the kitchen as I gather some staples. " Luna , every time you walk past water it grows higher" she somehow got in front of me and stared at me with her light magenta eyes. "Luna I think your powers are grow stronger" she said with glee. I look at her with rage in my eyes and move her aside. " Luna...why are you mad" she says with a worrie tone. I stop and turned around. "I...I..I don't my powers are stronger Tia." I said looking at her wide eyes. " Luna, what do you mean...y-" " Tia I mean that..arg...I.." I let out a little air " My powers...I..think..its growing darker.." I slowly turn around and started walking. " Luna, your powers are not darkening. It's that you feel like your powers are going to get to strong and that you will not be able to control them.So you try to put them on a low profile. I felt the same way when my powers started kicking in but trust me sister your powers are going to grow stronger and you'll always have control of them if you just let me help you" i turn to her and just stared at her confused. " that made NO sense..." I said walking closer to her. " WHAT!!!! It made perfect sense!!!!!..wait what...." she look at me confused. As I got closer to her, I jump on her giving Tia a nice tight hug. I look right back at her face " Teach me how to control my new growing powers" I said with a smile apon my face. Tia look at me with a getail smile " lets get started....after you brush your teeth, eat breakfast, and get dress properly".
