Applebloom, Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, Snips, Snails, Dinky, and Spike get pulled into a different world, they don't know where they are until they meet their digimon partners who explain where they are. At first they try to get their bearings in this new world and find a way to get back home, then they realize that the Digital World is in trouble. Their first opponents are three champion level digimon who have recruited other digimon to do their work, but there is more to it than they can immediately see, after defeating them they find out their are more stronger digimon to fight and they start to wonder if they can ever save the Digital World and go home.
