Fleur de Lis was a very lucky pony in the eyes of many, but the Pranch pony would never admit it. In fact, she would call herself the opposite in that regard. It wasn't that she was ungrateful for having this life, her love for her husband is hard to outmatch, but it didn't mean she felt that it was for her. It was something placed on her since she was a school filly by her mother, Cassette. Instead, she always wanted something less...exotic.

This amplifies when she meets Applejack-a simply pony with a hard working life, honest in nature and caring. The craving for being rustic intensified in the pony, so much so she could no longer take it. Maybe things would be entirely different if she wasn't the way she was, if she hadn't met the strange pony by the name of Krokodil in an attempt to be rustic. Maybe she should have just listened to Applejack. Then maybe, just maybe, she wouldn't be regretting everything in the end.

This is could be considered a creepypasta, but its more sad than scary. Still, I heard that many people wanted something darker for Fleur de Lis than what she was usually portrayed in, so here it goes.
