Chapter 1-Bonus "Sweet Dreams!" (Chapter 1 Epilogue)

It had been such a stressful night for Luna, she had disguised herself as Nightmare Moon and scared the children to hand over candy... and now she just had to return back to Canterlot.

But as she flew over Ponyville she realised that Ponyville was burning and that all the ponies were running around in fright and crying. She quickly dove down and landed in the town square as she looked around, smoke was in the air and ponies were panicking, trying to keep themselves safe but only made the matter worse.

It wasn't just fire that had been causing all this commotion, some houses seemed crushed as if something big had landed on them, she wondered what had happened but she soon realised that the thinking could wait because these ponies needed help.

Luna spread her wings and soared up into the air, activating her horn as she summoned gray rainclouds and squeezed them with the help of magic, wringing out all water as if they were sponges.

All the ponies looked up at her from the ground and stared in awe before cheering, but she still felt bad, she had to help them rebuild. It wasn't just one or three houses that had been burnt down, it was around half of the village.

She began descending and all the ponies came rushing to her as they cheered her on and some even began hugging her, but she still focused on the destroyed village...

...-This was going to take a while.

Celestia opened the room to her bedroom and walked over to her bed sluggishly, she slowly laid down and tucked the covers over her. These nights were often so peaceful, the guards were all out having fun on Nightmare Night, even her sister was not here. Everything was so silent...

But this night was different, like crawling bugs she heard multiple echoing footsteps around her castle now and then. But it never got the chance to bother her since it constantly went silent as soon as she had picked up the strange sound. But now when she was silently laying in her bed those sounds tormented her. It sounded like it came from the walls, but that seemed a bit too farfetched, those walls were made of solid rock.

After a while she felt her eyelids slowly closing as the promise of sleep gnawed at her brain, and before she knew it she fully closed them, the last thing she saw being two shining green eyes... green eyes?!

It was too late, she had fallen asleep and couldn't force herself to wake up. She found herself already being stuck in a dream, but it was no regular dream. She just seemed to float around in nothing.

What was this place? There was no floor, only a background consisting of green floating magic. Celestia tried moving but she seemed to be paralyzed, she couldn't do anything but look around with her eyes. Suddenly Chrysalis appeared infront of her and the changeling queen quickly levitated over to her with a mocking grin on her face.

"So, Celestia. How do you feel about your new temporary home?" Chrysalis said with a smirk, chuckling faintly as she circled around Celestia like a shark.

"Chrysalis?! I thought Shining Armor and Cadance defeated you for good," Celestia said as she was relieved that she could at least speak.

"Oh, they did. I had to use the last of our magic to cast all of my changelings and me in hybernation in your old castle where we landed from the explosion. But ponies seemed to stumble in now and then and foolishly fell for our tricks. Which gave us a small amount of magic each time, and now we're ready to reclaim Canterlot," Chrysalis said as she tenderly stroked her changeling hoof through Celestia's mane teasingly as she then took some steps away and quickly transformed into the shape of Celestia. "I'll release you from this dream when the time comes, but until then... be prepared to have some really sweet love filled dreams that'll fuel our food supply immensely!" Chrysalis said as she grinned and then disappeared.

Suddenly Celestia stood in a very old classroom from when she was just a little filly in magic school, where she sat next to her first crush at the school bench... was this really Chrysalis plan?

Either way, Celestia knew she was not going to be able to escape...
