Ivory Diaries, Part One:

December 6, 2011: Well, I never thought that I'd be one of those crazy mares who would pour her feelings out in a book, but Mic told me that it was a great way to vent out some frustration. He also said it would be a lot cheaper than a therapist, and that had me sold. Well, Sky wants to add a fourth member to the band. Says that Hard Lines and I don't contribute enough to the band, compositionwise. That mare is going to drive me mad. She doesn't deserve anything that she's gotten in life. She doesn't deserve the fame, and she definitely didn't deserve the affection of that Pegasus who used to sing for Fasthor5. The only thing she really deserves is a good, swift mule kick to the face.

December 8, 2011: Well, today, Sky started holding auditions for our fourth member. There were quite a few ponies who auditioned, but only a few of them stood out. One of them was a drummer, and the other was a guitarist / singer. Both of them were mares, too. Good thing, too. That just means that Sky won't try to fuck either of them.

December 9, 2011: I knew something was up, when Sky asked that drummer girl to come in for a second audition. She kicked Lines out, and replaced him like a broken key on a keyboard! He was such a nice guy, too. This Up Tempo filly had better be able to fill Lines' horseshoes, or this band is going to hit a quick low. Oh. And also, that guitarist mare made the cut, too. To be honest, if Sky knew how much I hated her, she'd probably replace me just as quickly.

December 11, 2011: Wow! The two new ponies are actually pretty good! The new drummer really knows her stuff! Not to mention, she's a total party animal! And this Soft Treble mare... Just WOW! She's got a set of pipes. And the way she plays guitar... Who ever heard of a unicorn playing an instrument by hoof? And willingly, at that! Something tells me that this band just got a lot better. I can't wait to get to know my new bandmates a little better. I would warn them about Sky, but something tells me they've already figured it out.

December 12, 2011: Well, last night, Treble, Tempo, and I went out to dinner after practice. I had no clue that Treble was Lunar Black's twin sister! That's so awesome! I really hope I get to meet him, some day. I heard that at one point, he replaced the pony who used to sing for Fasthor5. That's kinda shitty for that Deep Bass guy. First he gets caught up with Sky, then he gets replaced. And he was so cute, too.

December 14, 2011: Wow… for once, Sky's habit of spreading her hind legs for anything with four hooves, and a pulse finally paid off. Apparently, we're going to be starting a rather lengthy tour across Equestria, starting in Steedston, stopping in every major city around the nation, then going straight to Canterlot! I just don't know if I can bear being around Sky for that long.

December 16, 2011: And we're off! That's right, you horrendous little blue-covered bundle of paper! We took off today, to start our tour. Treble seemed kind of excited, too. I think she said something about getting to see her brother. And some Sparkle chick. I don't know.

December 18, 2011: Well, we stopped in Ponyville for a few days. It was more of a unanimous decision. Sky didn't want to, but Treble really wanted to, so Tempo and I took her side. I don't think Sky was too happy about that. Fuck her.

December 19, 2011: Sky came in with a bruise on her face, today. She made us pack up, and leave without Treble. Well, that's another one gone. It looks like we're going to be spending the next few days in Manehattan. I can't wait to see Mic again.

December 22, 2011: And now, we're on the road again. We're headed to Steedston, for the show. On the plus side, we're finally playing a major tour. On the downside, Sky's ego has turned into full-blown madness. It's kind of funny, really. I just hope something happens soon that'll put her in her place. Or at least knock her down a few levels.

December 23, 2011: Oh, Luna! Today was probably one of the most amazing and hilarious experiences of all time! Okay, where to begin? Well, we woke up a bit early, and went to the venue, to set things up, and get ready for the show. Well, apparently, some rockpony superband was supposed to be playing, too. Well, yesterday, Tempo and I got a letter from Treble, asking for our assistance with a little matter. Well, we were backstage, just relaxing, and listening to Sky's ego bleed from her mouth, until it was time to go on. Well, on the way to the stage, we saw the last band coming. It was Treble, her brother (who apparently was Sky's old coltfriend), Speed Kicker from 36 Crazyhooves, some cellist that I had read about in Musician's Weekly, and some other mare. They had a slight argument, and we went onstage. Sky gave a short monologue to the crowd, exposing the third band's lineup, then we played through a few of our old songs. The crowd didn't even care about Sky, after they found out who was coming on next. I think Sky took this as the crowd not liking our music, and this drove her nuts. We knew it was time to put Treble's plan into action, so when she announced that we were going to play "Ice," we walked offstage before she even noticed us. The crowd laughed hysterically, as Sky ran off stage, crying. I feel like I should've felt bad for her, but I didn't. She deserved it. Well, after that, Tempo decided to go celebrate with a few drinks. She invited me to come along, but I decided to stay, and watch the show. It was an awesome show, and after the second song, he proposed to his marefriend. It was so romantic. I won't lie. I was kind of jealous. Oh well. Hopefully, I'll find somepony sweet and romantic like that, some day.

December 25, 2011: Happy Hearth's Warming Eve! Today was a wonderful day. Mic came all the way from Manehattan to come visit me! It was really nice. Ever since mom passed, he's been the only family I've had. I just wish we could spend more time together. I miss my big brother. I told him about the show, and he seemed a bit shocked. Apparently, he and Deep Bass used to be best friends. I think that's pretty cool. Maybe he could introduce me, sometime.

January 13, 2012: Well, today, I met this stallion at the local club, named Sharp Flats. He was playing a set at the club, and his music was pretty decent, but it was missing something. We got to talking after his set, and sure enough, I'll be helping him with his music writing. I hope I'm not too bad at it.
