Aege Anderson, Commander of the Phoenix division from the Acradian Empire, Human, is marked as KIA, but after his body is returned, he becomes subject to a genetic experiment, changing nearly everything, but in the process saving his life. But in unfortunate circumstances he is put to decades of slumber during a Galactic war.

The Acradians lose the war, and Aege is fired to another Planet in an attempt to save the last Acradian.

Aege must take on a new name, and adapt to his new self, completely unaware of the tragedies befallen on his lost home.
