Lie
Prologue
Load Full StoryI groan, as another boring day passes by. I lean on one of my hooves, slowly falling asleep.
It was science class, the teacher was talking about something that had to do with mass, I couldn't quite make out the words, they all just merged together, as I fell into the darkness they call sleep.
:psst, Nicky, wake up!” I start to gain concussions, and look around to find ponies packing up and leaving class, I look up at the pink Pegasus that just woke me up. A smile that could melt the coldest of hearts. Her fur a soft pink, and mane of gold, the falls perfectly every time she moves, and her eyes, the most beautiful of green, that melts me from the inside out.
“I'm awake, Kat. Class is over?” I stretch out my wings and forelegs, getting up and out of the seat. She replies with a quick nod and waits for me to get my things together. I put away some homework the teacher passed out. “How did the teacher not notice me sleeping?”
“He, well...She did...She said that she'll be dealing with you after class.” She points to the tall pale yellow elder mare, eying me down like a lion watching it's prey. “I'll wait outside.” I nod, and trot to her.
“Have a good sleep?” She says grumpily, she sorts out out a few papers. “I hope it was worth it.” She passes a detention slip, for tomorrow. A Friday.... Ugh. I hate school. I grab the slip and throw it into my backpack, I then trot out of the class room to meet Kat.
“Lemme guess, detention?” She giggles. I roll my eyes. “I'll take that as a yes, wait is it on a Friday?” She holds back her laughter, but fails. I curse under my breath, and trot words the cafeteria. “Come on sower puss! Stop being such A downer!” She laughs, I groin, as I keep trotting beside her, passing others. “I love you.” She snickers as she bats her eyelashes.
“The felling is not mutual.” I reply. She starts laughing even harder, I chuckle along with her that quickly changes to full blown laughter. We reach the lunch room, and sit at out usual table, with some other friends, we then get in line, hugging a few of our friends. “so guys, whats up?” Brianna speaks up, her fur a shiny wight color, and her mane a light brown.
“Nothing really, hey Kat!” She moves me over to hug the pink Pegasus. “I love you!” Kat looks at me with a face full of emotion, concern, and embarrassment.
“Uh...Yeah, can you let go of me now your kinds, bending my wings...”
