Chapter 2 The Tetrahedron

Right after Star Storm and Twilight Sparkle left Sugarcube Corner they headed back to the library to begin studying. Star Storm opened the door and let Twilight go inside first, " Aw Thanks Star Storm you are so kind.", Twilight said after that letting out a cute squee , " You're welcome Twilight." Star Storm said as he closed the door. Star Storm took off his coat then hung it on the coat rack.

"Oh Star Storm I'm gonna go upstairs and get us some ink and also our quills, why don't you find our books that we need in order to complete our assignments.", Twilight said with a smile.

"Ok Twilight I'll get right on it then.", Star Storm said as he heads to the bookroom.

While Twilight Sparkle was upstairs getting their supplies  Star Storm managed to get their books while using his magic skills he turned around and placed them both in two stacks right by the table. "There that should do the trick", Star Storm looked at the scroll for the list of books that both him and Twilight were going to use then he checked them off. Right when he turned around he stumbled upon an ancient relic that is in the shape of a tetrahedron and it was sitting at the place where one of the books used to be.

"what in the wide world of Equestria is this strange looking object doing in here?", Star Storm said as he went to go get it.

Right when he picked up he examined it closely and on the tetrahedron was some strange looking marks and designs almost similar to crop circles . "But how did it get in the library without me and Twilight knowing?" , Star Storm asked to himself while looking puzzled. "I better show this to Twilight right after we are done with our important stuff first.", Star Storm then placed it in his coat pocket.

Twilight Sparkle came downstairs with their ink and quills then she said," we might want to be a little quiet while we do our work after all, Spike tends to get very upset when he wakes up from his nap".

"Okay then Twilight shall we begin?", Star Storm whispered as he grabs his ink and quill.

The two study buddies went to the table and began to read one of the books that is on the top of their stack. Star Storm had just began to write down some notes in his scroll while his Chosen Pony wrote some down in her notes as well. It had almost took them about a couple hours for them to finish up their assignments.

"So looks like we are finished with everything right Star Storm?", Twilight Sparkle said.

"You're right about that Twilight now then to check off finished on the scroll." Star Storm said as he used his quill to check off the "Finished with everything" checkbox on their scroll. Then he said to Twilight Sparkle, "Twilight I just found something strange in the bookshelves while you were upstairs getting our writing equipment."

Twilight's adorable eyes grew big with excitement  then she said, "oh what is it?"

Star Storm went over to his coat and pulled out the mysterious tetrahedron and showed to his Chosen Pony then he said," I found this also this object has some strange looking symbols that are similar to crop circles".

"we might want to find out what it is first before we do something with it Star Storm." ,Twilight said " I hope I have a book about the strange looking symbols that are on the tetrahedron, then after that we both need to show Princess Celestia what this object is."

"Okay", Star Storm replied,"let's both try to find the book and find out what the symbols are".

As they began to look for the book they were also making a huge amount of noise that Spike woke up and headed downstairs only to find Star Storm and Twilight going around the bookshelves trying to find the book that they need.

"I found it Twilight", Star Storm said as he held the book by the spine

"Hooray Star Storm now we can read it!", Twilight cheered while clapping her hooves

"Ahem are you two done making a racket?", Spike said as he crossed his arms looking confused then he looked at the tetrahedron and said," Holy Moly is that a diamond?"

Star Storm then said "Um it's a tetrahedron mah boi and it may look like a diamond and such."

"But you cannot eat that Spike we need that for something. After all it is an ancient relic.", Twilight said while she began to search for the page number.

" I was just asking you guys it's not like I'm gonna eat it or anything." Spike pouted "besides Star Storm gave me a bag of gemstones that Shard and Rarity found."

" I found it! Star Storm come here and look at these then tell me if you see anything that looks like the ones on the tetrahedron then I'll write it down in the notes.", Twilight said as she grabbed a piece of parchment and a quill with her magic

Star Storm began to examine the page and the tetrahedron very closely at a time. After a few minutes of both studying the book page and the tetrahedron alternatively he then began to point at the first picture then Twilight drew it on her notes. Star Storm then said," the next one looks like the sun and moon are combined and it's the one in the middle," He then pointed to the picture in the middle of the page.

"Okay Star Storm I got it down. Which symbol is next after that one?", Twilight beamed as she began to write down what the symbols look like after she drew them.

"So why does this tetrahedron have these funny looking designs on the sides?, Spike asked as he began to eat a diamond from the bag

"Well maybe the reason why they got on there is still a mystery mah boi.", Star Storm answered back then he found the last one that is similar to the final marking on the tetrahedron

"okay then Star Storm got the last one", Twilight said while she wrote down what the design looks like underneath what she drew.

"well then looks like you guys are done then so now what?", Spike asked as he gobbled a handful of small gems as if they were potato chips

"We're gonna have to show this tetrahedron along with the notes that I wrote down and what the symbols really mean and look like to Princess Celestia." ,Twilight said as she is preparing her saddle bag with a lot of stuff that both her and Star Storm will use, then she placed the tetrahedron in the other side along with the piece of parchment that was rolled up by Star Storm.

"It is important that we must get these items to her as soon as possible so that we may find out what we need to do next in order to solve this big problem.", Star Storm said as he puts on his shin guards and coat then he turned to face his Chosen Pony and asked," got everything ready Twilight"?

"Yes everything is inside my saddle bag Star Storm.", Twilight Said, now in order for us to get to Canterlot Star Storm have you studied teleportation spells lately?"

"Yes I have Twilight, also the ones that require some special materials and equipment like chalk and a piece of paper," Star Storm said.

"Yes well done Star Storm I knew you figured out what other kind of teleportation spells there are. but as a test to see if you know how to use one of them let's try the chalk one." Twilight said. "do you know how to use it Star Storm"?

"Yes I have Twilight. Let's use that one then", Star Storm said as he grabbed a piece of white chalk and both of them went outside then Star Storm began to draw an arcane magic circle that was used for teleportation and he said "whenever you're ready Twilight".

"Ok but first we need to ask Spike if he wants to come with us.", Twilight said as she turned to Spike and said," You coming or what?

" um sure." Spike said as he ran outside and stood in the circle with Star Storm and Twilight, "Alright then let's get this show on the road!"

Star Storm began to say the words that are required to activate the circle and then he finally said the destination to be teleported, "Canterlot  Outside Princess Celestia's Castle"! After that the circle shone brightly and then a ray of light shone above them and then they began to warp to the desired location. After a few seconds of warping they were at the desired location.

"Here we are Princess Celestia's Castle", Star Storm said

"We better get inside and tell the Princess what we had just found", Spike said getting on Star Storm's back

"Right you are on one thing mah boi! Twilight let's go!, Star Storm said

"Right!", Twilight said as she followed Star Storm and Spike as they all went on the pathway to Princess Celestia's Castle.
