Thump.

Raindrop groaned as she lifted herself to her hoofs.

She shouldn't of had those extra couple of rounds of that cheap whiskey. Annoyed by the horrible aftertaste sitting on her tongue.

Raindrop got to her hooves with much effort but she finally got there.

That wonderbolts celebration party was definetly something, but not amazing. In the midst of the celebration everyone had managed to get drunk off either the spiked punch or the various alcohols dotted around sugarcube corner. Raindrop having a good couple of rounds of each.

Raindrop walked over to her window and took in the beautiful sight of the sun cresting the horizon. It truly was a lovely sight to wake up to in cloudsdale, one of the most magical sights to see the sun rise in the morning even if it had happened almost every day for the whole of her life.

Her belly rumbled, and she headed downstairs at the complaint of her stomach, The feel of her lovely cloud carpet trying to lull her back to sleep as she trod towards the stairs. Sadly she could not say yes to its question and simply walked down the stairs and prepared some coffee with a bowl of fruity oatmeal. As Raindrop chewed down her oatmeal she thought of her average day of moving ponies stuff around for the moving company. She wished she could have a new more interesting job but all the jobs she had applied for had rejected her. So she was stuck with working for the moving company. Atleast the pay was decent though and she didn't screw up as much as Ditzy had which was definetly something.

Raindrop took a glance at her clock. "Shit!" cursed Raindrop. She quickly stuffed her cheeks and guzzled her coffee before dashing out the door.

Raindrop managed to make it to work with only a hard glare from her boss, Crafty Crate. The day went past as normal, Raindrop and the other people working dropped a few things and moved things around for other ponies. Raindrop was releived and joyous when the end of the day came early. She decided she would go and spend her spare time before nightfall in the countryside.

I was a beatiful afternoon, the birds were singing there beautiful choruses and sky was a clear blue. It seemed that all of nature and Equestria was at peace, not a single thing could ruin this moment.

Raindrop decided to have a well deserved nap. She dreamed of flying through beautiful skies and watching the beautiful lands of Equestria flow past.

Raindrop was suddenly woken from a nap by a sharp pinching at her neck. As she rolled her eyes around to where she could feel the pain she felt a neglection of energy to her body and felt as if she was being drained even more by the second, but instead of spotting an everyday mosquito, what she spotted made her eyes go wide with fear. What was biting at her neck was a Pony. It took her a couple of seconds for her to process this. Were the old ponies tales real? It couldn't be... She must be dreaming. She must! But this dream felt all too real to be a dream. The pony had a dark crimson coat and a long black mane and tail with a few nighttime purple streaks in both. The most interesting part of her was her eyes, they looked like they belonged to somekind of reptile or maybe a dragon, With long vertical slits instead of the casual round iris. By the time Raindrop had managed to process all that was happening through her drowsy brain the crimson mare had noticed Raindrop's terrified stare and gave her a fanged grin before sprinting into Whitetail woods.

"H-Hey! Get back here!" yelled Raindrop before giving chase, it took Raindrop a while to get up as she again felt her lack of energy but soon she was bounding after the mysterious mare in shock and determination to catch the her.

The crimson mare seemed to have no trouble weaving through the many trunks that beared the leaves creating the canopy of Whitetail woods but Raindrop was able to catch up thanking that pony which had accidentally put a couple of coupons for martial arts classes into her mailbox and her mother for encouraging her to take up dance when she was a filly, mind you she had never performed but that didn't matter now. Instantly her mind flashed back to the task at hoof. She managed to notice a bent but strong branch that pointed to the sky. Raindrop sprinted up the branch and lunged at the crimson mare landing ontop of her in a large heap of orange and crimson.

The mare beared her Fangs and hissed at Raindrop as she pinned her to the ground.

"Who are you?!" screamed Raindrop in a frenzy of fear and adrenaline.

"I asked who are you?!"

The mare suddenly lunged at Raindrops as if to rip her throat out but that unbearable pain never came and instead felt the familiar pinching feeling in neck. Raindrop tried to pull away from the mare who was pulling her down with a pair of unseen limbs where a normal pegasi's wings would have been.

"Your worst nightmare." The mare whispered as she flashed a fanged grin before burying her face back into Raindrops neck.

"S-sto-op." moaned Raindrop as any remaining energy she had retained fleeted her her body and everything started to fade to black.

The last thing she heard was.. "Don't worry Raindrop this is only the begining."
