Rarity and Sweetie Belle love each other as sisters should, despite being so different. However, one day, Rarity receives notice that Sweetie Belle may not be whom she thinks she is.
While working all night on a dress, Rarity receives an important package revealing an awful secret; the Sweetie Belle in Ponyville is a fake, and the real Sweetie Belle's life is in danger. Carefully following the instructions to get her sister back, Rarity would do anything to save Sweetie Belle - including killing her dupe.
