Part 1: Summer Sun Celebration

Janet walked into her brother's room, hoping to finally get some information on whether or not he planned on going to the Summer Sun Celebration. She knew that he wanted to go, but being the most famous pony in Equestria took it's toll on his calendar most of the time. Every once in a while, he would be free for a week or so, but usually, ponies would be asking him to perform at their Birthday party or something, and his kindness would usually get the best of him. She loved her brother, but sometimes he was a little too kind.

"Hey!" She called, immediately spotting the pure white stallion laying on his bed, staring at a calendar and crossing out stuff.

"Hi, Janet" He said, not even looking up from his calendar,"I'm just  trying to find out how I can move this stuff around so I can go to the Summer Sun Celebration this year."

"Well, why don't you just cancel whatever's on that day, and them only one thing would be affected." She suggested.

Michael stared at her with a face that rivaled that of a young puppy in pure innocence and said , "But it's for a Filly who just got her cutie mark!" He argued.

"Fine." Janet said, "But make sure you find room to go to the Celebration." She walked out the door and then heard a ring, indicating that somepony was at the door, "GOT IT!" She yelled so that none of her other siblings tried to race to the door. (Last time they had attempted to do that, it didn't end well.) She grasped the doorknob with her magic Aura and opened the door, only to see Princess Celestia standing at the doorstep.

"Hello," She greeted Janet, "Is Michael home?"

"Oh, yes," She responded, "Why don't you come it?"

The two walked in and she heard a random voice called down, "Who is that?!"  "It's Nopony, Guys!" She replied to the many ponies upstairs, who were apparently doing karaoke with some friends, as if 7 ponies wasn't enough to sing 'Thriller' accurately. Celestia sat down at the kitchen table while Janet poured some water for the two of them.

"I hope I'm not intruding or anything, but I need to know if Michael is planning to go to the Celebration or not." Celestia explained, "Because if he is going, I need him to check up on these things," She levitated a scroll over to Janet and continued, "They're just a list of the ponies who I have given preperation assignments to. I need your brother to check up on them and see how they're doing tomorrow."

"Oh..Ok" Janet replied, "MICHAEL, COME OVER HERE AND SEE THE PRINCESS!"

As Michael walked out of his room, Somepony called down from the second story, "IS THE PRINCESS HERE!?"

"NO JUST JOKING!!" Janet yelled sarcastically at the ponies upstairs.

Michael walked up to the table and looked at the Princess and asked, "So what did you want me too do?"

"Well, I'm just seeing if you are going to the Summer Sun Celebration because if you are, I need you to check up on these ponies who are doing preperations for the event." She answered.

"That's convenient because I finally figured out a way to change my schedule, I called up the mother of the Filly who was having the party, and she said She could move the party to a few days later." He exclaimed, glad to free up his schedule.

"I'm not surprised my suggestion worked." Janet joked, annoying Michael, who gave her an irritated look.

"So, you two are going?" Celestia asked.

"Yep!" The two siblings confirmed.

"Well," Celestia said, "Your sister has the checklist of ponies that I want you to check up on while you're at Ponyville." She stood up and walked over to the door, just as a colt wearing a fake crown and a filly with a picture of the Eiffel Tower on her shirt walked down the stairs, and once they saw Celestia, their eyes widened and they shared a spit take from the juice boxes they were drinking.

"DADDY!" They yelled," YOU SAID THE PRINCESS WASN'T HERE!"

Michael facehoofed and replied, "PRINCE, YOU AND PARIS HAVE BOTH SEEN THE PRINCESS, SO I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU ARE SHOCKED!" He then heard the two rush up the stairs, probably to tell the others, even though Celestia was out the door at this time, and turned to Janet, "Can you find a Foalsitter for them?" He asked.

"What?! You weren't going to bring them?" She angerly replied,"And besides, couldn't one of the others watch them?"

"I guess they could, but ... Nevermind, one of the others can watch them." He gave in, "I just want to go to the celebration alone, just to have a good time."

"Well, that's going to be difficult, considering how you're only a LITTLE famous, I bet you'll sign more autographs than how many times you've tried to teach Paris to Moonwalk." She joked

"Hey!", Michael retorted, "It's not like you're exactly unknown either!"

"Well, at least ponies don't write sick fantasies about me."Janet mumbled.

"WHATWAZTHAT!?" Michael yelled suspisously.

"Nothing.'' Janet said while rolling her eyes.

The two siblings stepped into the flying chariot as Michael looked over the scroll, "Well, at least these ponies aren't really annoying or anything." He said.

"But, they are just random ponies, aren't they?" Janet asked as the chariot took off.

"No, actually they are some pretty famous ponies." Michael replied, " Like that kid who parodied some of my songs, Alfred Flankovic."

"Really?" Janet asked, "I thought 'Al' stood for Alvin."

Michael saw the town underneath them approaching, and felt a pain on his back. "Janet, get me my umbrella!!" He yelled, looking up at the sun, as his sister handed him his umbrella, which he opened and levitated above his back, "Ahh...that's better."

"Don't wanna be rude or cliche, but I feel like this is going to be a long trip" She sighed.
