Something horrible has occurred in Ponyville. A horror unlike any other has struck two of the town's citizens. One of the Elements of Harmony witnessed the act but, it left them all shaken. Twilight Sparkle races to find and defeat whatever "it" is before more ponies are killed. Not wanting to risk the lives of anypony else she alone trys to stop the ancient evil.
