Chapters [1] Worst. Birthday. Ever.
"Funny, and I was about to say: this day couldn't get any worse." Mikel grumbled, pulling over for the cop. Today was a dreary Saturday, and Mikel's birthday. His day had been horrible. His day started when he accidentally spilled coffee on his shirt rushing out the door due to over sleep, and continued when he forgot his laptop at home. He had to rush back home, only to find the laptop completely dead. When he finally got in to the office, he was late. To top things off, the report he had been working on for the bast month had gotten deleted, via thumb drive "malfunction" (he dropped it in the street). When he was finally able to recover it, it was already 5 hours late. Now he was going to be late home and miss one of his only joys in life.
"What seems to be the problem officer?" The fresh out of collage Mikel asked.
"Do you know your back lights are out?" The cop asked.
"No I did not sir." Mikel replied.
"You were also going 5 miles over the speed limit." The cop said pulling out a pad of paper and a pencil. "I'm gonna have to see your drivers license." Mikel grimaced as he reached for his wallet and handed it to the cop. The cop took it and wrote down a few things on the pad of paper. He ripped it off and handed it, along with the wallet, back to the Mikel.
"Now you drive safe now." the cop said.
"Thank you officer." Mikel said as the cop walked back to his car. Mikel waited until the cop drove off and dropped his hand on the steering wheel, causing the horn to honk. He picked his head and drove back home.
"Why today?" Mikel asked the sky. "It's my birthday."
Mikel finally got home, and sure enough: he missed the first episode of season 5, mlp. He walked inside the house. He walked to the TV and turned on the DVR.
"What a surprise! The DVR didn't record it!" Mikel said sarcastically. He walked to the kitchen. Mikel lived in a small, 1 story house. He was alone here. "But hey, at least I get tomorrow off." Mikel said, trying to stay positive. "After all, I have been working on that rocket desighn for that NASA scientist." Mikel was an engineer. He was pretty good at science. His parents had sent him a package, his birthday present. He opened it. It was a new tee. The angering thing wasn't that it was a tee, he asked for one, but when he asked for a tee, he asked for a tee with Rainbow Dash on it. But no, he got a plain tee. It was 5 sizes to small. He sighed. "This is the worst birthday ever." Mikel decided to just got to bed. That night he tossed and turned, for 3 hours. He felt uncomfortable the whole time. When he finally fell asleep, he had a strange dream. In the dream, he was walking down a concrete road. It was decollete for miles. As he walked the street soon turned to a light path. He continued walking. Soon, he passed by a transparent Rainbow Dash, walking in the other direction. He tried to say hi, but he couldn't say anything. He also found that he couldn't stop walking. After some more walking the light path turned to a dirt road. Soon the dirt road led to a small cloud, hovering only a few inches off the ground. on the cloud, curled up, was a sleeping (solid) Rainbow Dash. She was snoring happily. Mikel didn't stop walking. Mikel eventually tripped on the cloud and fell on top of Rainbow. It felt like her fur was sticking to his skin. Where ever her main touched his hair, it stuck to it. He soon had rainbow hair, and blue under arms. He (not in control of himself) curled up to match Rainbow's position. Mikel then started sinking into rainbow. He went numb as his body parts entered and vanished. He lifted his head up, for a brief moment before it was pulled under, to call for help, but no sound came out as his head submerged. He then felt, nothing. He couldn't feel any part of his body. The only feeling he had left disipated.
"GAH!" Mikel sat upright with a start. He was in a sweat. He swiped the sweat off his brow with his hoof. "That was a weird dream." he said. "No more chocolate cupcakes before bed." Mikel got out of bed and slowly clopped over to the bathroom. His carpet felt different. He pushed open the bath room door. He looked in the mirror. He gasped and let is muzzle drop open. Judging by his reflection, he now had a main, and a rainbow one at that. He had a coat of sky blue fur covering his entire body, including his four hooves, his muzzle, and his ears. He also had a tail to match his new main. On his new flank he had the image of a cloud with a rainbow lightning bolt coming out of the bottom.
"I..." Mikel stuttered. "I'm Rainbow Dash!!!!!!!"
"I'M RAINBOW DASH!!!!" Mikel cried. He frantically looked at all his body parts. He had a sky blue fur coat (like Rainbow Dash) 4 hooves (like rainbow dash) a rainbow main and tail (like Rainbow Dash) and even Rainbow Dash's cutie mark (like... oh). But on this extra inspection, He found some thing else, more like didn't find something.
"I'm... a girl ?!" Mikel cried. His muzzle dropped open again and he fell over. He just sat there, for what felt like an eternity. Finally, he got up. He was in rainbow dash's house so she decided to visit Twilight to see if she could help. He stood up.
"Using hooves is easier than I thought!" Mikel said. He opened hi- her wings. She flapped them a bit. Testing them. After 5 minuets of testing, she was finally in full control of her new wings. "OK. Let's fly!" Mikel gulped. She was able to lift off the cloud ground a bit. For 30 tedious and painful minuets she was able to learn how to fly, to an extent. Not as fast as the real rainbow dash, but at least she was flying. She walked to the front door of the house, witch she opened and flew out through. Mikel flew for about 5 minuets, at a jogging pace. After that, Mikel had to walk, she was to tired to continue.
"How do Pegasi do that all day?" She asked herself. But lucky she made it to town. Mikel walked around town, looking for the library, because he didn't see Twilight's castle. As he walked, he tried to mentally name all the back ground ponies he passed.
"Junebug, Bon bon, Lyra, Vinyl, Doctor Whooves, Derpy..." she said noted. After a while of being lost, she found a building she recognized: Sugar cube corner. "Well, I might as well." Mikel said. He walked through the door.
"Hi!" came the perky, unmistakable voice of Pinkie Pie. "What chu' do-in?" Pinkie asked.
"Oh, Hi Pinkie pie!" Mikel said, trying not to freak out at meeting the super party pony herself. "I'm not doing much."
"GHAAAAAAA!" Pinkie gasped in her over the top gasp. "But it's your birth day ! You should be doing something fun on your birthday!" Mikel thought this was funny, it was his birthday to.
"It is? I totally forgot." Mikel lied.
"Do you have anything planned?" Pinkie asked. Before Mikel responded, she answered. "Of course you do! I planned it!" Pinkie said in her usual, perky way. Mikel couldn't help but brake out in a smile.
'This is going to be great!' Mikel thought. All Bronies will admit how awesome it would be to have a party, thrown for you by Pinkie Pie. And now it was happening.
"I'll be back. I need to go help finish your birthday cake!" Pinkie said, bouncing into the back of the shop. Mikel thought that it would be OK to wait for his party to have a sugar cube corner cake. So instead, he walked out of the front door and now had her bearings. Back on his quest to find the library, Mikel continued his walk. He passed by some more background ponies on his way.
"Thunder Lane, Amethyst Star..." Mikel continued as she walked past the gazebo. Down the road, he finally saw the building he was looking for: the library. "Great! I'm one step closer to getting home!"
Twilight Sparkle had been in the market place, getting some grocery's. She had to get some regular things, namely carrots and some hay for sandwiches. But she had promised a gem for Spike. Twilight saw a few pegusi flying threw the sky. She had always wondered what it would be like to do that.
"OK! That about dose it! All I need now is some cloud for a potion." She then happened to see her friend (And arguably best pony) Flutter Shy.
"Hey Flutter Shy!" Twilight called out to her friend. Flutter Shy was carrying a basket with some stuff in it. Flutter Shy noticed her.
"Oh! Hi Twilight!" Flutter Shy called back. "What is it?"
"I was wondering if you could get a tuft of cloud for me?" Twilight asked. "But it's perfectly fine if you don't want to." Twilight didn't want to force her friend to do something she didn't want to do.
"It's OK, I'm perfectly happy to help out a true true friend." Flutter Shy said in her nice, caring tone. "Could you hold my basket?" Twilight nodded and levitated that basket from her friends mouth. Flutter Shy then flapped her wings and flew up to the closest cloud. She pulled out a tuft of clouds in her hoof. Flutter Shy flew back down to the ground and handed Twilight the cloud.
"Here you go!" Flutter Shy flinched. "I hope that's enough!" Flutter Shy squeaked.
"No no! That's plenty! Thank you!" Twilight said. "So... uh... what are you doing?" Twilight asked, 25% to change the subject, 75% because she was generally curious.
"I'm so glad you asked! I'm trying a new pet food recipe." Flutter Shy said excitedly. "I really hope my animal friends like it."
"I'm sure they will. Thanks again!" Twilight said, waving as she walked away. She strolled down the street, thinking over her ingredients for the new potion recipe she found in an old spell book. She had everything she needed, all she needed to do was brew it. As she walked up to the library door, she opened it to find Spike staring into the left wing, as though some thing horrible was in there.
"Spike? What's wrong?" Twilight asked rushing to his side.
"It's... it's..." Spike stuttered. He slowly raised his claw and pointed to the left wing. "Her!" Twilight looked where Spike was pointing to see Rainbow Dash reading a book, and a big book at that.
"Rainbow?" Twilight asked shocked. The left wing was mostly science and research books.
"Oh, hi Twilight." Rainbow Dash said, absently. She was obviously absorbed in the book. It was a book on dimensional travel, and was very complicated. "Yeah, that makes sense." Rainbow dash muttered to herself.
"What makes sense?" Twilight asked.
"Yes." Rainbow said, not looking up.
"Yes?"
"No."
"No?"
"That doesn't make sense!"
"What doesn't make sense?" Twilight asked exasperated, realizing Rainbow wasn't really listening to her, just responding hoping what she said would work.
"But, if the rift DID open, then that would have to leave some sort of scar. And there isn't any scar." She said. Twilight walked over to Rainbow. The book was indeed complicated. Next to rainbow sat a piece of paper, and on rainbow's left hoof, a pencil was tied there with tape. A piece of chalk was on the other in the same way. The paper was covered in equations and theories, most of witch would be difficult for her to solve.
"Rainbow? What are you doing?" Twilight asked.
"OH!" Rainbow poped up. "OH OH OH!" She was exited. "The reason time travel spells were so complicated and always fizzled out, was because they were trying to rip a hole in time itself!" Rainbow ran over to the chalk board in the room. With the chalk hoof, she drew up a grid and labeled the x and y axis. (Warning, gets kind of sciency.) Next to it, she drew another grid and labeled it Z.
"Our world, is three dimensional, follow?" Rainbow asked Twilight.
"Yes I follow." Twilight responded.
"We have the y axis height, x axis width, and z axis depth. BUT! We are wrong!" She said. "Our world, actually, has 4 . This fourth dimension: is time! We are normally locked out of this dimension. We can go up and down and all around, but in time we are stuck! The time travel spell can be done in the way it is, but it can also be done like a teleportation spell, only with four coordinates! The fourth, is the date!" Rainbow said. "But, if I was able to create a small area of our three dimensions, and make the fourth dimension tangible, then I could be able to get to the rift!" She said. Rainbow looked down a bit, dejected. "No no, but that would only work if I had some way to find the rift in the three dimensions I'm in." Twilight's eyes were so huge, an anime character would say: "You got some BIG eyes!" Her mouth was also open to an abnormal size. "I'd also need to make the fourth dimension of the space 3 dimensional for that to work. But if I got it on the rift it COULD work!"
"Wait a minuet..." Twilight said, thinking over Rainbow's theory. "That could work! That could actually work! You just fixed the time travel spell!" Twilight cried out. Twilight had stopped paying attention after "The fourth is the date!" line. Rainbow suddenly looked as though she noticed Twilight was there.
"Oh hi T- Twilight !" He stuttered. "W- when did you get here?" Twilight stopped.
"I've been here listening to your formula on fixing the time travel spell." She said in a dead pan tone. "Didn't you know I was here?"
"Well I didn't know you specifically were here. I just have a habit of explaining what ever I work out to whoever is in the room with me when I work it out." Rainbow said.
"You, do this often?" Twilight asked confused.
"Well of course I do. It's my jo-" Rainbow stopped herself when she extended her hoof. "Oh right. That ." She said with discuss towards her hoof. Rainbow then shook her head and darted towards the cellar door. She ran through it and down into the cellar. Twilight followed. When Twilight entered through the door, she saw that Rainbow was all ready down there, rummaging through the equipment. Rainbow pulled out a giger counter, a pocket watch, and a compass. She started walking back up the stairs.
"Can I barrow this? Thanks! Buy!" Rainbow dash said quickly as she rushed out the door.
"What just happened?" Spike asked. Twilight turned to him.
"I have no idea. But i'm gonna find out."
[3] What's up with Rainbow?
"... and then she said: I wasn't trying to fix the time travel spell!" Twilight said to Rarity. "She solved a complicated spell that unicorns haven't solved in years! How do she do that?"
"Well... maybe it had something to do with that book she was reading?" Rarity suggested. This sounded to her like the canterlot wedding all over again... but Twilight did turn out to be right then...
"She was reading a book that is slightly challenging for me! From a scientific stand point, it's way above her reading level!!!!" Twilight said. "I just don't get it."
"Well, I'm sure you'll figure it out darling. What ever it is." Rarity said. "Now, you're gonna help me with a dress to take your mind off this." Rarity said. Twilight thaught about it for a moment.
"Ok."
Mikel, was hovering back to his cloud house. He was flying, but no more than a few feet off the ground. He was looking over his notes for a devise to make him change back. He was also marveling about how much magic theory was like experimental design, architecture, and chemistry rolled into one.
"Ok! This should work!" he looked it over. Then, right there next to the carousel boutique, one thing occurred to him, one huge thing that couldn't be over looked and had to be addressed that second as the whole plan was riding on this. "I'm not a unicorn!" Mikel relised. "And pegusi simply can't generate enough magical power to pull this off!" But, most unicorns don't have this power ether. But Twilight has extraordinary power, that much has been made clear..." Mikel thought to herself. "But I'm taking a huge risk revealing myself to her... but if I get this right then I can go back to being called he... but being Rainbow Dash is a dream come true." Mikel thought about this. He hadn't even noticed the door to the shop opening. "My options are... tell Twilight what's up... and probably get experimented on... or not tell her, and be trapped here forever... but is being Rainbow Dash, really so bad?"
"WHAT?!?" Twilight's voice cried out behind Mikel. Mikel turned around. Behind him, was Twilight.
'Ok, so my options are now: tell Twilight, or run away until she catches me and I have to tell her.' Mikel rained in his thought, as they were reeling. 'I better tell her now... or I could lye my way out of it.'
"Tell me what!?!" Twilight asked.
"Tell you... about your birthday present!" Mikel quickly thought up. "I got you a really cool birthday present!"
"Cool! Me too!" Pinkie said, poping out of a bush for a brief moment, only to sink back inside and vanish.
"Any ways..." Mikel shook his head. "I need to go see my grandma, but I can't leave town without telling you about the present, the guilt!" Mikel wasn't the best at coming up with lies... but he was great at telling them. "So, uh, bye!" Books under arm Mikel flew off, as fast as she could. Twilight ran after her.
Twilight walked out of the carousel boutique, to see Rainbow muttering to herself.
"What is she doing?" Twilight thought to herself. She was barely able to catch what she was saying.
"So my options are... Tell Twilight what's up... and risk being ex-spited on... or not and be tapped here forever... but is being Rainbow Dash, really so bad?" Twilight heard her say, but it was really garbled. She did, however, perfectly hear the last bit.
"WHAT?!?" She cried, not being able to catch herself from the shock. Rainbow Dash turned to see Twilight, his face went pale. Paler than snow, in fact. It was actually kind of hard to look at. "What were you going to tell me about!?!" She asked, angrily.
"Tell you... about your birthday present!" Rainbow said, obviously lieing. Her birthday was in 3 months. "I got you a really cool birthday present!" Suddenly, Pinkie Pie burst from a bush.
"Cool! Me too!" Pinkie said. Pinkie then sunk back into the bush. Twilight and Rainbow stared at the bush for a moment.
"Any ways... I need to go see my grandma, but I can't town without telling you about the present, the guilt!" Rainbow lied so obviously, it was a little insulting. "So, uh, bye!" She shot off like a rocket, Twilight chased after him. Twilight raced down the dirt road, heart and hooves pounding equally fast. The only difference was how her hooves were pounding on a road, and her heart was pounding in her chest and up her throat. Rainbow was fast, but she was definitely slower than usual. This was great for Twilight, she would actually be able to keep pace. Rainbow darted off the road, and into a wood. Twilight tried to follow, but the trees were to thick, meaning there was too many trees for her to pass. Twilight walked back to the library, in a huff.
"I'm gonna get her."
Author's Note
THE ENDING WAS TO WEAK! It was too weak for the readers, and too weak for me. IT DEMANDS TO BE CHANGED! And so it is.
Mikel was flying above the forest. He wasn't sure which one, the poster map showed about 3 around Ponyville. But, unfortunately, one was the Everfree Forest. But the bright side was in season 1, the characters overstated the dangerousness of the forest. From what is seen, the Everfree is actually quite lame. Mikel kept flying. (PSST! He's over Everfree!)
"GAH! My wing!" Mikel said as his wings cramped up, he fell down into the forest below. He hit the ground, rolling dazed. He slammed, headfirst, into a tree. Mikel lay there, sprawled out on the ground dazed. He was there for who knows how long. When the muddy, hurt, and utterly lost, Mikel was able to wake up. Once he stood up, he looked around. It was evening. He was completely lost.
"I gotta get out of here." He said to himself. He unfurled his wings and flapped them. He was stopped by the sheer, unrelenting, pain. It felt like... having a broken arm. It even hurt to curl them back up. After resting for a bit, waiting out the agony, he got up.
"Ok... so I can find north by... polaras !" Mikel said excitedly as he found the star he was looking for. "Ok, At least I know what direction I'm facing. But, I don't even know what that is in relation to ponyville. Or even what way to go!" Mikel put a hoof on his face, "I never thought I would die lost in a forest, trapped in Rainbow Dash's body. Oh well, there Is only ONE WAY to pick which way to go!" Mikel picked up a stick, and spun it in the dirt. Hey don't judge! You'de do the same thing. "Ok, South West it is!" Mikel said, satisfied with his results. Mikel began to walk south-east, hoping to get back to town.
3, hours later... (in that voice from sponge bob)
"GROWL!" Mikel's stomach growled loudly, as he sat around his makeshift camp. He put a log around a pit he dug, (with HOOVES!) with a lit fire in it.
"Shut up." Mikel said, punching his gut. Bad move. "OW! Stupid hooves." he grumbled. CRACK! the sound of something big walking nearby could be heard. SNAP! It came closer. Mikel stood up and slowly backed away. 'Greate, just greate !' He thought angrily. 'Come on! Give me a freaking break!' Suddenly, from the bushes, burst Twilight!
"THERE YOU ARE!" She said. "I've been looking for you forever! Where have you been!" Twilight stopped when Mikel knelt down at her hooves, and started kissing them.
"THANK YOU! (kiss) Thank you thank you! (kiss kiss)" Mikel kissed her. "I thought I was gonna DIE out here!" Twilight had a HUGE grin on her face. I don't think I can describe how big it was. (Wait, is that physically possible?)
"Well... you will if you don't tell me." Twilight smirked. Mikel's muzzel dropped open.
"But... you'de let me DIE! Are you kidding? Please tell me you're kidding." Mikel said, desperate and scared. "You are joking... right?" Twilight's... (really? I can't believe that!) growing grin, told Mikel that she wasn't kidding. She could easly teleport back to town, and leave him stranded. But, the real seller, was that: no matter how big (how impossible big) her grin was, it was still cool and calm, it said "I'm in control and I know it." Mikel, eyes bulging:
"Come on... you gotta help me!" He said, growing more desperate by the second.
"Tell me." Twilight said. Her horn began to glow, with its purple pink aura. Mikel almost had a heart attack when he thought he saw her fade a little.
"ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT!" Mikel said, cracking. "I'll tell you!" Twilight's horn stopped.
"Good." She said, calm and cool as can be. Her horn started gloweing again, and aimed it at Mikel. Mikel literally started to black out. The flash faded, revealing... something only seen when on hallucinogenic drugs. Imagin Discord was using his chaos magic, only he got super drunk, and played the "Ponyville, fair drinking game" before he started. If you don't know, the Ponyville fair drinking game, is when you look over all of MLP FIM, and take one shot for every town-wide event that is only existent for one episode. So yeah, it was super weird. I'm actually losing my sanity thinking about it. So he was in "What the F&^%" land for... a period of time... before he woke up in the hospital. He had a Doctor and the rest of the mane 6 around him.
"She'll be fine, You got her here just in time though. This is the hard stuff." Rainbow looked around the bed. Her entire left leg was numb. "She's in rough shape. A star spider bite AND 2 broken wings! If Twilight hadn't found her, she'd be... well... you know..." The Doctor (Put your whovian merch away...
Mikel stretched his wing.
"What spell did you use?" The Doctor (WHY DID I WRITE THIS CHARACTER?!?!) said exasperatedly to Twilight. "This spell is heavy duty! He healed in a matter of hours!" Mikel was healed up and getting ready to leave the hospital.
"I thought it was an emergency, so I used the supreme heal." Twilight said sheepishly. The Doctor (It is taking every ounce of restraint I have not to write myself in here and IMPAIL THIS GUY!) looked stunned. He shook his head and walked out of the room.
"I expect you gone in an hour max."
Twilight and Mikel walked down the dirt road to the library. Mikel was contemplating whether or not to beg Twilight for help. But, unfortunately, that would involve telling her he was actually a he from another dimension.
"OK, you don't need to tell me what's up, but you at least owe it to me to tell me why you ran from me." Twilight said, grumpy.
'Unfortunately that answer is complicated.' Mikel thought to himself. After some silence, Mikel took a deep breath.
"I'll tell you when we get back to the library." Mikel finally said. Twilight suddenly sped up to a gallop. Mikel raced after her.
Spike was sitting in the library. He was waiting for Twilight to get back from her outing, via reading a comic book. She had gone to Carousel boutique a couple hours ago (actually, a day ago but spike didn't notise the long time pass). The main door slammed open and Twilight ran in, followed by Rainbow Dash. They ran downstairs and closed the door behind them. He heard the lock click as well. Spike didn't really care what they were doing. He had a comic to finish reading.
Twilight had just finished listening to Rain- Mikel's story. It was an incredible one. She, or he, was actually from another dimension and had switched bodies with her dear friend unwittingly.
"So... you actually from another world?" Twilight asked.
"Yep." Mikel responded.
"Wow! That's incredible! But, how?" Twilight asked. Mikel shrugged.
"I've got just as much idea as you." He responded.
"Well, I got a better idea now. I only know of one-" Twilight started.
"Let me stop you right there," Mikel said. "I know your gonna blame Discord automatically, give the guy a freaking chance! Gosh, I bet if the sewer got backed up you'd blame him."
"True." Twilight slowly nodded.
"OK, now I'm not gonna rule out Discord just yet, but we shouldn't let our minds immediately blame him." Mikel said, nodding his head.
"Alright, Mikel, have any Ideas about how to switch you back?" Twilight asked. Mikel nodded.
"Yes, actually. I was researching about what ponies knew about dimensional travel yesterday, that's why I was here." Mikel explained. "I've been working on a spell theory and worked out something that could switch me back, but I need a powerful unicorn to do it, like you per say." Twilight agreed, it would have been too hard not to help out with this once in a lifetime event. Mikel went to the chalkboard, and began to write the diagram on it. "Man photographic memory is useful. When it decides to work. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Memory-ex-machina." He grinned as he perfectly recreated the diagram. "Allright! Time to get back to my old body!' Mikel said, standing in the center of the room. Twilight looked a little stunned.
"That's it? That's all I do?" She asked.
"That is what I said you were doing going into this." Mikel replied.
"I just thought there would be more to my job, it seems a bit basic." Twilight said,
"Get used to that princess Twily." Mikel said, laughing a bit. Twilight shook her head and disregarded his statement. The mood suddenly darkened, and became more serious. Twilight could feel sweat forming on her brow, and could see it on her targets. They were both worried about if something went wrong, Twilight's concern was never seeing Rainbow again and Mikel's was ending up like one of the orange abominations from too many Pinkie Pies. Their hearts were pounding as Twilights horn began to glow brightly. A swirl of magic floated swiftly around Mikel, as he was lifted off the ground. Things began to blur and he started to black out. The glow on Twilights horn began to flicker. She strained to keep the spell going, but Mikel's float was losing support. The spell ultimately ended in an explosion, sending both the caster and the target to opposite walls. Twilight was instantly knocked unconscious, being unstable to begin with being weakened from the spell. Mikel was able to hold consciousness for a moment, hearing the same laugh from before, reminding him of Spock, and some actor... He suddenly realised what it was.
"John Delancy! That means... I'm gonna kill that bas..." Mikel then lost his grip on consciousness and fell asleep.

"I enjoy your visits and do hope you come by again soon!" Fluttershy said, waving Discord out the door. He had come by for a visit. He had made some cucumber sandwiches.
"Thank you, my dear Flutter-" Discord was cut off by the front door being litterally , ripped off it's hinges. In lunged, an extremely enraged Rainbow dash. Fluttershy wasn't aware of Rainbow's true nature at the moment. Mikel had landed on top of Discord and was pinning him on the ground.
"I'M GONNA KILL YOU, YOU SON OF A-" Mikel said, finishing off with something... incredible vulgar.
"DASHY! Such language!" Fluttershy tutted.
"I SWEAR TO GOD," Mikel continued, ignoring Fluttershy. "I'M GONNA REACH MY HAND, DOWN YOUR THOUGHT, AND RIP YOUR STOMACH OUT! I'LL THEN REMOVE YOUR SMALL INTESTINE AND WRAP IT AROUND YOU NECK, AND HANG YOU WITH IT!!!!" Mikel screamed at Discord, causing Fluttershy (and the newcomer Twilight) to let their mouth(s) drop open the floor.
"My my," Discord stifled a giggle. "Somepony has been watching too much Dan vs. lately."
"CUT THE SH*& DISCORD! You, are gonna put me back, in my body, OR SO HELP ME I'LL-" Mikel was cut off by Twilight covering his mouth with her hoof.
"Please don't ever , say anything like that again." Twilight said. She turned to Discord. "We know you did this to Mikel, now change him back this instant!"
"Why, what ever do you mean?" Discord said, stifling another laugh. Mikel's face was so read, a tomato is closer to her original collar than she is.
"Do you know what I've had to put up with!?!" Mikel screamed. He lowered his voice to a whisper. "I've had to... go ... on myself because I'm too embarrassed to go to the bathroom. It's very confusing when you're not the same species or gender." Mikel raised his voice back to normal. "My life, may have been shi-" This time it was Flutter's turn to shove her hoof in Mikel's face.
"Maaaaybe you should, not talk for a while." Fluttershy said, making sure to finish up with a quiet: "but you don't have to!" Any brony would have to be deaf to not understand how Fluttershy tells somebody to shut up, so Mikel did just that. Fluttershy turned to Twilight. "Ok ok. Now, what proof do you have of... whatever it is you're mad about... being Discord's fault?"
"Well, when Mikel passed out in the Everfree forest from a snake bite, he heard Discord laughing." Twilight said. Fluttershy made a face, and Twilight continued. "I know, I know. Hering a voice in your head as your passing out from poison isn't solid proof. But it is proof when you hear it again when you're not passing out from snake venom." Fluttershy nodded her head. She Turned to Discord and raised an eyebrow.
"What?" Discord asked. "I was only granting his wish." Discord put on some reading glasses and pulled a stack of paper out from behind his back. "It clearly says that, right here in chapter one, and I quote: 'All I want, is to be Rainbow!" Mikel said angrily. How is that my fault." Discord made the cartoon halo of innocence appear above his head. Mikel shook his head.
"Ok, so 3 things wrong with that. 1, I didn't say that, I said I want a Rainbow dash tee as in t-shirt. 2, That also says 'all I want is a tee'. And 3... where did you get that?" Mikel asked.
"Internet." Discord responded in a dead-pan tone.
"How was that on the internet? And, follow up, how did you find the internet?"
"On my new apple." Discord said, Pulling a white apple from his 4th-dimensional back. Mikel then laughed.
"Oh I get it: apple! As in apple computers..." He laughed. "But that still doesn't get you off the hook. CHANGE ME BACK!" Mikel snapped.
"Fine... but first you gotta see this home video I found!" Discord made a reel-to-reel projector appear along with a couch and screen. The movie started.
"Hey! Don't think you're gonna distract us with your..." Mikel started before seeing what was being projected. His mouth dropped open. "What the..."
"I thought It would help lighten the situation a bit." Discord said, offering some pop-corn. Mikel thought for a moment.
"Meh. This should be good." He plopped on the sofa, and took some pop-corn. Fluttershy and Twilight looked at each other, and sat on the sofa.

Umm... I'm just gonna, ignore what Mikel said there... and go call a therapist... quick question: are human, or pony therapists better? Ponies have more traumatizing things... but humans know more...
BEEP 3.... BEEP 2.... BEEP 1.... BEEP!
Rainbow Dash, was standing in a bathroom, NOT made out of clouds. She was looking in the mirror, at the strange monster that she had become. She could stand on 2 legs, but she had 2 more that ended in noodles for some reason. Rainbow had found that she could move them.
"Discord." Rainbow sneered. "When I get my hooves on him..."
"OH the irony ." One viewer laughed (Discord).
"Owww..." Rainbow groaned. VVVVV! VVVVV! Something buzzed in the cloth wrapped around her lower half. Rainbow reached into a pouch on the cloth and pulled out the only thing in it: a small picture with a thick frame. VVVVV! The picture buzzed again, and Rainbow dropped it. The buzzing thing was a picture of her . At the top was the word, "Mom" and at the bottom was a green square and a red square. The green one said: "Answer" and the red one said "Decline". The squares and word "Mom" suddenly vanished! Leaving a black surface. Rainbow looked closer at it. The rim was silver, with a sliding switch and two buttons on the left side. There was another on the top. The bottom of the surface had a circle bottom, with a white square. Rainbow leaned in, propping herself up on her four legs. She sniffed the block. She slowly poked out her tongue and licked it. It tasted bitter.
"Oh, COME ON! That's just embarrassing!" The second to sit down (Mikel) said, slouching.
"OH MY!" The timid one (Fluttershy, duh) gasped.her back. Rainbow grumbled.
"Ha ha ha!!!" The intelligent watcher (Twilight, duh) laughed.hay do you use these things." as well as other exclamations of anger. Rainbow stumbled out of the room and looked around the house. She walked until she found a kitchen.
GROWL! Rainbow actually jumped at the loud noise her tummy made. So, seeing as Rainbow was in the kitchen, she decided to get a snack. The room was quite rustic, it had a sleek wood counter and a silver colored fridge. Rainbow dug around in the fridge, looking for something good to eat. After throwing out lots of packages labeled "Oscar, Myers" (much to the annoyance of the slouching viewer) he finally found some cheese.
"Aww! That's my good cheese!" The sloucher said.
"Don't you mean, GOODE cheese?" The only male body said. The other viewers groaned at the bad pun.
"UPS? What does UPS mean? UPSey daisy?" Rainbow shook her head.
"Ok, OK! That's enough. Turn it off!" Mikel said. "We've seen enough!" Discord snapped his fingers and the whole movie setup vanished.
"So, now that you know what happened whale you were gone... sort of... now you aren't too worried about what Rainbow did." Mikel looked down, as if he was looking over his glasses.
"We haven't seen the rest of the clip." Mikel said to John De-Discord.
"Well then, we've got a movie to watch." Discord said, re-creating the movie setup.
"Please don't."
[8] We're Off to See the... "Wizard"
"So, can you: or can you not change me back." Mikel said, after a micro viewing of more of the clip.
"Maybe, you could go to the emerald cit-" Discord began.
"That's The Wizard of OZ!" Mikel snapped. "It's a yes or no question."
"Well, I'm not sure. Do you think the plot demands it?" Discord asked angrily.
"What?" All the pony body's said.
"All you humans, think I can only do what the plot demands." Discord crossed his... "arms" ... After a while, he finally continued. "Yes I can put you back in your body. But, we need to make sure the other end is ready."
"The other end... by that you mean Rainbow?" Mikel asked.
"Yes, quite correct. But are you sure you wanna swap back? I've seen the whole clip, and I don't think you do." Discord said, to the accompaniment of Mikel nodding his head at an INSANE RATE. "Suit yourself. But yes, both ends of a body-swap like this need to be ready for the change to occur." Discord said, he was suddenly cut off.
"Wait, if the targets need to be aware that they are about to be placed in another body, then why were you able to affect me? I didn't know it was gonna happen." Mikel said.
"Well, ready or wishing." Discord said.
"I did not wish for this!" Mikel immediately screamed, before anypony could get any words out.
"Then why did the change work?" Discord asked. Smugly.
"Oh for the love of," Mikel said. "JUST F***ING CHANGE ME BACK!!!" He screamed angrily.
"Mikel! You said you use those words anymore." Fluttershy said.
"I'm sorry Flutter's, I just got a bit annoyed," Mikel said to Fluttershy. He turned back to discord, but he was gone. In his place, was a reel to reel slide, with the words "PLAY ME NOW" on it. So, what could they do: but put in the movie. When they went to do it, they found a camera and a microphone set on top of it. They had a card that said, point both at self. The dragged them to the couch, and the movie started.
This is what they saw:
Rainbow was lounging on the couch, (she knew that she couldn't go back out into public, not after last time), when suddenly: Discord appeared! She fell off the couch and landed with her head between her legs.
"YOU!" Rainbow got to her feet (wow, I never thought I'd use that phrase!). "Tell me what you did to me! And a reversal while you're at it!" Discord giggled a bit.
"That's what I'm here to do!" He laughed a bit. "So, first I need to explain..."
One exposition later...
"And Then I came here. OH RIGHT!" Discord put up a video/camera mic setup like the one at Fluttershy's. Once he hit project, a scene of the cottage couch, only from the point of view of the screen. On it was sitting Mikel, Twilight, and Fluttershy.
"What's that?" Rainbow and Mikel asked at the same time.
"This is a live video from Fluttershy's cottage." Discord said proudly. "What's happening on the screen is happening right now." Twilight leaned in a little closer.
"So... that's Rainbow Dash? The real one?" Twilight asked. Rainbow leaped at the screen.
"YES! TWILIGHT IT'S ME!" Rainbow called to the screen.
"Um, Yeah. I can hear you ya' know." Twilight said sarcastically. Rainbow looked as she saw herself sit up on the couch.
"Yeah, good great. Now, can you get to the trade back, please." Mikel said.
"Yeah, what she said!" Rainbow replied back. Mikel grimaced. Discord nodded and held his hand up to snap.
"Wait! There's something I've always wanted to say. Discord lowered his hand. "Alright, alright." Mikel looked around the room. "Ok ok, give me a noun." he said, continuing to look around the room.
"A book?" Twilight asked.
"A couch?" Discord asked.
"A birdhouse?" Fluttershy asked.
"Yeah, that'ad work." Mikel cleared his thought. "That birdhouse... it needs to be about 20% cooler." Mikel broke out into a huge grin afterward. He sat back on the couch like a human. "Alright I'm ready, switch us back."

[9] Lose End Round Up, Lose End Round Up!!!!
Twilight:
Twilight left the cottage to let Fluttershy "supervise" Discord, "cleaning up" his mess. She planned on going to AJ's for a tall glass of cider. Also, she wanted to do some research into other worlds and what ponies knew about them. She saw something about a mirror and the crystal empire in a book. Sadly that book was eaten by parasites... and Discord... and Pinkie Pie. That was a weird weekend.
Spike:
Spike Finished the PowerPoniesTM comic book. He was ready to move with series! Unfortunantly the second comic would be difficult to find because it was only printed in Canterlot. Lucky for him, soon an event would happen (the ending of season 3) that would take him there. That's gonna be fun.
Fluttershy
Fluttershy had a talk with discord... in bed... via (insert magic thingy here)

Absulutly nothing happened with Discord, much to his disappointment. (I guess the writers just didn't give him screen time
Mikel
Mikel was switched back to his body. For some reason his body really had to pee. Also: he was out of milk, missing his car, and was now getting tons of texts and e-mails from "Marrisa" about a wedding. He decided to block her... and call the police once the emails and texts continuing. It's too long a story (and too loosely connected to the rules) to tell here. Also, for some reason "The Hangover" was in the main DVD player and was rented on every other TV in the house. He was expecting some choice vocabulary for season 5... as well as a few references to that movie in question. It was a bit of a surprise when a few pizza were delivered to his house. The more the day dragged on, the more he felt like Rainbow set it up to feel like the movie.
Oh boy. This is a little late. A think most of us who write have written one of those ... this is one. I didn't realize how tired out the idea was, but yeah. This was bad, but I'm going to choose to laugh at it, as I hope you do as well. But please, this was early in my writing career, just, remember that, OK? Thanks.
