//-------------------------------------------------------// The Unforgiving Moon -by Luna-in-war-time- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// To Dark to See Stars //-------------------------------------------------------// To Dark to See Stars     Luna's eyes opened. Her five seconds of serenity were gone and all of her memories of who she was and what she had done came flooding back to her. But one thing was new. Today was the day she would get to go home, she would be able to see her friends and family again! Her sister Chelestia and her best friends- But that's when her heart sank. "Your  friends  Are  dead  Luna." She said to herself "And  you  sister  hates  you,  don't  you  remember?" The words tasted bitter but she felt they needed to be said even if it was just to herself. Luna sat up taking in the cold air around her, the moon was always cold. She looked around her bedroom and out through her windows into the empty space that coverd where her stars should have been, there is not enough light on the moon to see the stars. That was another form of her punishment. Her room had deterated over the thousand years it stood as a resting place for her. It was a complete copy of her old room, the one she destroyed. Luna cast her legs to the side of her bed she felt the cold stone on the soles of her feet. She began to walk down the hallways taking in everything they had to offer, paintings she had done covered them mostly, painting was fun and meteralizing paints and paintbrushes was never hard. She came across two golden doors, they had lost there luster over the years but they still welcomed Luna every time she came to them. She opeand the doors and cast the same spell she did every morning. It was a simple personality spell that made a man in a hazy blue magic to appear, he had been Lunas old chef even though he just cooked the same fake meals every morning it still made her happy to see a face that she knew. "Good  morning  Princess  Luna! I  hope  you  had  a  good  nights  rest!" The chef allways had a lightness to his voice that made Luna smile. "We  did  sleep  rather  well. Thank  you." Luna sat at the table that was Blue where Luna sat but as it went along it turned a gold yellow for were Chlestia would sit. Luna had thought of making her own table instead of the copy but there was something about the color yellow that always gave Luna warmth, maybe that's why they loved Chelstia over her yellow was always more inviting than pitch black. "What  would  you  like  to  eat  today  Princess?" Luna thought for a few seconds it didn't matter what she would eat there were no calories in her fales food. Or fats or proteins. " We  will  have  pancakes  please." The chief got straight to work. Soon he placed a plate In front of Luna. She stared down to the food she wanted to eat but food was thee only thing she could not make with Magic. She cut the spell off and left the kitchen. She did this often even with real people maybe that's why the help always  liked Cleastia over her, Cleastia was the one with people skills. Luna walk down the halls and entered her thrown room that on one side there sat a large obsidian thrown with Luna's moon crest on it. And on thee other there sat a gold thrown long since smashed to bits form one of Luna's many rage filled moments. She turned and walked out to the balcony that too had withered away with time and, looked at the green earth and Equeasria she smiled slightly, she opeand her mouth to speak. "Soon." She said."Soon  I  shall  be  home." And she was right even now in thee early hours of the day she can feel the stars begin there alignment. She was always good with stars maybe that's why she liked them over people. Luna sat at her makeup table and gazed at herself she was pale and she had rosy some what boney cheeks  that made her think of flowers that were withering away, she wasn't very strong looking due to the fact that her body has only been able to stay alive Due to her magical growth other the years. She painted her eyes a dark shade of blue to Mach her hair and to bring out her green cat slit eyes. When ever she would stare in to her own eyes she would have memories of the past memories that she didn't want. But came anyway. She remembered her last day with her sister and how small she felt. She had gone to Cleastia and asked for an hour maybe two more of nighttime so the people could get to see the night instead of just going to sleep as soon as she raised her lovely moon. This was not the first time Cleastia had said "No." But it was the last time Luna could take. She refused to lower the moon and Cleastia started to yell but unlike the many other times Luna yelled  back. Maybe this is why her sister had liked the sun and her people over Luna. Luna had not realized that she had been pulling the moon closer and closer until she looked outside and heard the screams of the maids and butlers outside the thrown room, like allways they did not see the moons beauty. Cleastia pushed it back and began to say that Luna was "Unneeded." And that she could, "Lower  the  moon  for  her." That's when Luna snapped she cried and cried but the tears weren't clear like the sea they were black like the skies during a new moon, they ran down her face covering her hole body in black armor it stung like acid but that only made her cry more And more. Cleastia yelled for the guards to help but it was too late the new Luna stood tall over Cleastia  and made a knife apper in her smoke like magic that Cleastia had olny see in the hands of the fallen King Sombra she named it "The  Magic  of  the  Evil  Hearted." And she was right too. The knife shoot at Cleastia and hit her in the stomach her blood painting the black face of her once sister. Luna wanted to vomit from the memory of her sisters blood In her mouth. Cleastia fell her blood was forming a pool around her she whispered something to Luna past her blind rage. It was an apology. After that all Luna could remember was the burning hot power of the Elements of Harmony  ripping her apart and the sadness of realizing what she had done. She smashed the mirror with one blow of her Magic she couldn't look at herself anymore. She blamed Cleastia for sending her way but she blammed her self for being too weak to handle her emotions. Her magic hummed the time was nearing. She ran down the halls of her castel in to a small room that lead to a door way she stared at the door inside lay her armor waiting for the time that Luna and only Luna would put it on once more. She opeand the doors the armor seemed to glow in the darkness. She slipped it on one pice at a time she kept her mind this time casting spell after spell of sheilding magic to make sure that if there was any remands of the nightmare in the armor it would be killed or to weak to do her any harm. She then quickly took  her sword and slid it into its sheath she also grabbed her spear she felt how perfectly weighted it was with its tip made out of moonlight its self she looked back fondly of all the battles it had won her. She began walking down her hallways one last time taking in the sounds on her boots as she walk, every  step seemed too get louder and louder as she went along. Her mind was clear and at peace with its self. It had not been so peaful in thousands of years. She began to feel the hot raw power of the elements consume her like that day all those years ago. And she smiled. "I'm  coming  home  sister." And with one final look back at her home of the last thousand years she was gone. And in her place remands a crescent moon,  Marking the last day of the Princess of the moon's banishment. She even watched as the mare like shape in the moon that mocked her sister for a thousand  years disappear in to the clear beautiful  moon, that  had given her refuge and a shoulder to cry on. And as she fell to the earth she saw her stars once again. And felt warmph for the first time in a thousand years.
