A little filly whispered, tears streaming down her face. I was heartbroken, so I myself revealed to her. "Child, you did nothing," I said gently. " They are just blind to real talent. They pretend they do know real talent and they have it, but they are wrong about both. YOU have real talent." The little filly smiled and began playing the flute beautifully. I smiled and I withdrew from the dream realm altogether. I shook my head, and looked at my surroundings. Oh, horse apples. I must have gotten bored at dinner and went to the dream realm. Celestia was looking at me clearly annoyed. " What? You were talking about politics, you know how bored I get!" Celestia just sighed and shook her head. " You know that you have Night Court, so you SHOULD know these things! Did you just doze off, or did you zone out, or did you go to the Dream Realm?" I just shrugged. "The Dream Realm. I helped a little flute prodigy. Apparently her brothers have been mean to her, saying that she would never become a famous musician. They take her flute away. I told her that they dont know true talent and thats what she has. I think I might just go over to her house and tell those brothers what`s what. That will teach them. Either that or I will put them in her shoes in their dreams. I don't know yet. But, I will have to choose." I grinned mischieviously, thinking of all of the fun I could have. I almost laughed, almost, Tia was glaring at me. "What do you mean, that either you will put them in her shoes, and what exactly is going on at that house?" I scowled, so bucking angry those brothers. " They smash her flute, lock her in her room for days at a time without food or water, and they do so many more terrible things. You know what, I'm gonna go there right now, and yell at them, and then tonight, I`ll make their dreams her life. Bye-Bye Tia." Before Tia could say anything I teleported by her house. I walked up to their door and knocked. Somepony half groaned, half yelled, " Who is it? If you're selling something, we don't want it!" "It is I Princess Luna, the Protector of thous dreams, Co-Ruler and Founder of this nation Equestria, and Bringer of the Night Sky, The Stars, and The Moon," I heard some scrambling inside, probably cleaning. " I wish to enter thous home." A minute or two passed, and all the while I was playing with my mane. I don't know why, but I love to play connect the dots with the stars in my mane. It helps pass the time. I created Pinkie Pie with a batch of cupcakes, and with one in the air, right above her mouth. I dont know how she isn`t the size of Canterlot, with the amount of sweets she eats in a day. I held in a snort as the door opened and a light brown earth pony opened the door, and let me in. It was clear that they hurriedly cleaned the place. "Oh my, your highness, what a surprise it is. What brings you to my humble abode?" They bowed. "Oh nothing, oh and where`s your younger sister? And don't thou dare try to deny that you don't have one, because I know you do." I finished with a forced smile. 'I would like nothing more than to beat them to a little purple pulp' I thought savagely. "O-of course, Ill go get her," he said nervously. When he walked up the stairs, he called,"Music Note, we have a special guest, she came all the way from Canterlot to see us," When she didn't come out of her room, he smiled at me," Of course Ill go get her myself." I just smiled and nodded,waiting. When he came back with the tiny unicorn filly, I could at once see the affects that they've put on her. You could see her tiny ribs, and the bruises. I bent my head down and smiled gently at her, " Hello child," But it seemed she didn't hear me because she was too busy playing with my mane. Chuckling I said, " Would you like to play with my mane?" She nodded enthusiastically. I picked her up with my magic, and gently put her in it. I then put a simple spell to make sure she doesn`t hear any of our conversation. "Your majesty, are you sure that it`s okay that our sister plays within your mane?" I simply nodded, thinking that I would like to have a filly or colt one day. "You see, the reason I came, well, you know how I walk, and help ponies overcome their fears in their dreams?" They nodded, and, so I continued. " Well, earlier, I walked in to Music Note`s dream, and do you know what I saw?" They both asked, "What did you see?" My face turned into a scowl, " I saw you two starving her, breaking her flute, and punching her, and so many worse things. And don't you try to deny it, Ive saw her ribs and the bruises. And I'm almost positive that if I open up the closet door, I will see a pile of broken flutes. As so, as it is within my power, I remove her from you and place her with one of my trusted advisors. She has always wanted a child of her own, and now, I leave the child with her. I will see to that shes properly fed, and has a new flute. Good day to you sirs." At that, I walked out the door. I flew back to the castle, and when I got there, I ordered two daffodil sandwiches, and carrot soup. After she ate those, I put her on my back, and flew to Midnight Moon`s house. I let myself in, she was at the fireplace. She loved her at first sight. Half an hour later, I was back in the castle, thinking once again about how I would like a child of my own. I sighed, and then, when I just finished sighing, my sister walked through the door of my bedroom, no knocking or anything! "What is the matter Lulu?" She asked "Oh nothing, its just that, I just love children, but I cant have any of my own. How did Mother get pregnant? I just want one child,one child to call my own, one child to love and care for, one child to to-" I sighed again, "Never mind Tia, I guess that`s the downside to being a immortal pony." I hung my head, feeling tears come to my eyes. My sister frowned, "I do know how Mother got pregnant, but I don`t think your going to like it," My head shot up, " You do? Tell me Tia, tell me now! I want my own child," I demanded, starting to break up. Tia sighed, " Ill tell you. First you have to give up two of your abilities. Like, your horn, or your wings,or your Earth pony strength. Once that is done, you have one year to find your very-special somepony. If you dont you have to wait another year to try again." "Done" I set my mouth into a determined jaw line, and narrowed my eyes. "Okay, just give me a couple minutes to decide," Tia nodded, and left me to decide. Well, Im very used to my horn and wings, so my Earth pony strength is out of the question. Hm........ I guess I can live without my wings, though I sure would miss them. Ive decided. I concentrated my magic, and I felt my strength weaken and my wings disappear. I also felt myself getting shorter, not by much, but still shorter. When I opened my eyes, I still looked like Princess Luna, only shorter and with no wings. I then called Tia back in, and when I looked at myself I still had my cutie mark,and everything else- minus wings."Tia, will you help me change my appearance? I need to, because people will still recognize me. We need it to last for a whole year." She slowly nodded, and with her magic, and mine, she changed my appearance. Now this wasn't just a simple illusion spell, this was ancient magic that our mother used to have us. My eyes turned light blue, and my mane and tail turned silver with one dark blue strip through each. my coat was a deep, deep purple. my cutie mark turned into a silver full moon. I tried my magic, it was silver. For my name, I decided Silver Moon. When I looked in the mirror, I looked like your regular old run-of-the-mill unicorn. I threw my forelegs around Tia, and cried, "Thank you, thank you so much!" "Now, how will I get out of the castle? Oh, I know! Ill pretend that Im part of the tour group. Bye Tia!" I said as I raced out of there, grabbing some bits as I went. When I caught up to the group, they were ready to leave. At the train station, I bought a one way ticket to Ponyville. At Ponyville, since I was starved, I bought two apples from Applejack. As I was walking to the mayors office, I ran into Pinkie Pie. She jumped like ten feet in to the air, and sped off. When I got to the mayors office, I was let in. I put on a bright smile and said " Hi, my name is Silver Moon, and I would like a house. Somewhere close to town, but close to the Everfree. Im a fan of its natural beauty and dangers." I thought of the ancestors of them, they were so nice. "Really, you want a house close to the Everfree Forest," She asked with a face of disbelief. I nodded. "Well, I have just the home for you, it may be just a little run down, but it`s exactly what you're looking for." I again smiled brightly "Thanks so very much, now I need to know where it is." "It`s about 3 miles in front of Zecora's hut." "Thanks, I`ll be going now." I walked out if there and went to the saddlebag shop. I ordered a white saddlebag with my cutie mark as a clasp. I thought about it, and decided to go borrow a book from the castle. I got a book thats about Equestrias history. There I met Twilight without her treating me like royalty, it was a nice change. The conversation went like this- Me- "Hi, I would like to-" T- " Pinkie Pie, I don't want to be pranked, I have lot of reading do, so can you please leave me alone?" Me- "I`m not-" T-" Pinkie, I told you-" Me- " I'M NOT PINKIE!" T- " Im so sorry, but, she usually comes at this hour, I wonder whats keeping her." Just as those words left her muzzle, Pinkie zoomed in, whispered something in Twilight`s ear, took one look at me, then zoomed out again. Now thinking about it, I probably should have known what she whispered. In PonyvilleI walked to my new house for the year, and she was right, it was a little run-down a bit, nothing a little magic can`t fix. When I walked inside, I used a simple light spell, and there was a party. Figures, I thought. But, since I was more than a thousand years old, I was an expert on acting surprised. One of my many talents. Pinkie Pie bounced up to me, and said, " HimynameisPinkiePieIthrewyouthispartytowelcomeyoutoPonyville," I backed up a little, feeling a little scared. I mean, come on! I`ve faced almost all of the threats to Equestria, and here I am scared of a pink pony who talks really fast! "Hello," I said keeping my voice level, " Im Silver Moon, and I actually understood all that you said. Youre Pinkie Pie, party pony extraordinaire and Element of Laughter, part of the Elements of Harmony, and you returned your Element to the Tree of Harmony. You have faced up against Nightmare Moon, Discord twice, Tirek, a dragon who threatened the health of Equestria, Queen Chrysalis and Sombra. You helped Princess Luna have fun on Nightmare Night. You are friends with Cheese Sandwich, the only party pony who is even close to rivaling your parties," She stood agape, and the whole room had gone quiet. Twilight stepped forward, " How do you know all this?" I turned to face her, " And youre Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship, youre brothers to Shining Armour, Prince of the Crystal Empire. You used to be Princess Celestia prized and private pupil. You represent the Element of Magic, and have finished Starswirl the Beared unfinished masterpiece. I can even say the rest of the spell if you would like me to," She shook her head. " You have an assistant named Spike, who is a baby dragon. You`re old foal sitter, Princess Cadence, was kidnapped by the Changeling queen, Queen Chrysalis during her wedding to your brother. You helped Cadence defeat her, by letting her go to Shining Armour. You then helped Cadence protect the Crystal Empire. You lost your tree house home to Tirek, and were able to shoulder the weight of power from four alicorns. Also you were able to raise the sun and set the moon on your first try, granted not very well, but you still did it. Does anypony else want me to tell you about your self?" "Oh and Twilight, I have connections leading up to Princess Luna and Celestia, So, I know everything major that has happened in Equestria." I smiled mischievously, and then shot a ray of magic to Pinkie Pie, turning her into a cake. I then cast a invisibility spell, and then, I was gone. Ponies looked around, and I cast a anti- gravitational spell, and made myself visible. And all the while ponies were saying " Where did she go? How did she turn Pinkie in to a cake?" and all that rubbish. "Aren't you looking for me?" I asked floating in air. Rainbow Dash, and Twilight flew up to me, both of them saying different things. Rainbow Dash said, " That was so AWESOME!" To that I just smiled and nodded. Twilight said, " How did you do that? What were those spells?" I answered, " The first one was a transformation spell. The second one was an invisibility spell. The last one was and is, a anti- gravitational spell." She was shocked. "I thought I was the most powerful unicorn alive, and I can't do those spells." I smirked, " Well, heres the thing, my magic is as powerful as yours when you were a unicorn, and YOURE A ALICORN, A PRINCESS! And, I`m just a unicorn" I then broke the spell, and summoned a spell, for a cloud, and did the same spell that Twilight did for the best young flyers competition,and landed on it. I then lowered it to the ground and made it disappear. I smirked, and yelled, " Lets get this party started!" At The Farm*The Next Day* ( Luna`s P.O.V) Time to go get some supplies for my house. As I walked in to town, I looked up at the sky longingy. Oh, how I would like to just fly in to the sky and not come down, but I made my decicien, I`m just a regular old unicorn, unable to fly. But, I can make a cloud. When I walked in to the hard-ware store, I bought some hammers, nails, screws, and screw-drivers. As I was walking back to my home to fix it up, I ran in to Big Macintosh. "Oh, hey Big Macintosh, how ya been?" "Good," "Oh,good, well, sorry for running in to you, I better not keep tho- you any longer. I`ll just be on my way, oh by the way, what are you doing?" "Going to ma` farm to buck some apples." "Maybe I could help, I mean, I probably can`t buck any apples, but I could probably bring in the apples to the barn. Is that okay?" "Eyuop`" "Cool, Ill meet you there in lick-a-dee split.," and with that, I ran off to my house, tossed my things in, and teleported to the farm. "Ow,ow,ow, man, this used to so easy, know I cant so it with out getting a headache, Ow!" I yelped while rubbing my forehead, I then shook my head and ran to the barn. Huh, I was there before Big Macintosh. "Hmm......Oh! Silver Moon, I didn`t know you were here!" Twilight exclaimed, almost dropping her apple basket and Spike. Well, Spike fell off. "Yeah, what are you doing here Silver Moon?" Spike said while rubbing his head. I laughed, " I could say the same to you too! Well, I could say something, but Ill wait till you say what youre doing here as well." Spike had this dreamy look on his face, and my eyebrow raised on its own accord. Twilight jumped in to save him, "Were just helping Applejack with her chores," "Really, so am I! Well, not Applejack, but Big Macintosh," Judging by her expression, she was confused, so I hurried on. "I ran in to him on the street, and he agrreed to let me help him with his chores," I saw him over Twilights shoulder. "There he is now, Id better go meet him, and with that,I ran out. (Twilight`s P.O.V) When Silver Moon ran off, Spike sighed, I knew that sigh, that`s his love sigh. He stared after Silver Moon, and then I knew that he had a crush on her. "Spike, do you have a crush on her?" Insted of answering, he mummered, " Her laugh is so beautiful." He sighed again, and I knew that he did. "Spike, I thought you had a crush on Rarity," He turned to me, and said sadly, " I knew after a year she would never like me the way I liked her, but there was a sliver of hope in me, so I kept on loving her, but after Trender Hooves came and went, there was no doubt in my mind that she would ever love me, but I kept up the act, but now, after meeting Silver Moon, I know in my heart,that one day she might." He stared at Silver Moon,who had two baskets on her back and six more floating within her magic, waiting for more. I realized that tears were streaming down my face, and I wiped them off. I pulled Spike close, and hugged him so very tightly. "Twilight, I can`t breath!" Spike gasped. I laughed, and asked " Spike, can I tell Rarity that you had a crush on her now?" He grinned," Sure." "Alright, let`s finish this up." *Two Hours Later* I burst in to Rarity`s boutique, and,breaking the peaceful silence with, "Rarity!" Rarity came in with her glasses on and asked, " Twilight, darling, whats the matter? You know what, lets talk about it over a cup of tea." I shook my head, "Spike has had a crush on you ever since he saw you, but after Trender Hooves, he knew you could never love him the way that he loved you, but he kept up the act, but about two hours ago, that act crumbled down when he saw and heard Sliver Moon laugh and talk. So now he has a crush on her instead of you, and he gave me perrmission to tell you all this information." Rarity was shocked. "Really? My little Spikey-Wikey has had a crush on me this whole time?" I sent her a look, " You really didnt know? Here Ill show you," and then cast a memory spell. After seeing that, Raritys eyes were filled with tears. When I went over to comfort her, she didnt refuse, and I spent 5 minutes comforting her. (Spike`s P.O.V) Once we, Twilight and I were done, I walked over to Silver Moon and said, "Hey Silver Moon," She laughed, and it was the laugh of a angel, full of happiness, love, life and sounded like music. "Its okay if you call me Silver Spike, I dont mind." Me,being the idiot dragon that I am, blushed. She laughed and said, "Spike, did you put blush on?" "No! Silver, why did you say that? I`m a boy!" She laughed again, and it took my breath away. "Hey, do you want to ride on my back to the barn? We`ve finished this section, right Big Mac?" And sure enough, she held twelve baskets in her magic. "Eyoup," "Sure Silver." When we got there, I saw Applejack, slid off Silver`s back, and ran up to her, and asked to speak to her in private. When we did get some privacy," Ok, Spike, what in tarnation is this all about?" It came out in a rush, "What do you do when you like somepony, but you dont want them to know that you like them because you dont want to lose your friendship, do you act casual? What do you do?" "Is this about Rarity?" "No, I havent liked her since Trendor Hooves, the rest was a act. Its about Silver Moon," My cheeks turneed scarlet, " I dont want her to know that I like her, because I dont want to lose our friendship, but how do I act around her? How?" Applejack was shocked, "Why in tarnatin do you like Silver Moon? To me she feels like a big show-off," I shook my head,"Shes not, shes a good hearted pony, I mean look at her, shes helping your brother with his chores by carrying in fourteen baskets, tweleve with her magic, and two on her back, each filled with apples, in to the barn. Sure, she likes to tease, but its all in good humour. Like last night, from what Twilight told me, she did a bunch of tricks to make people laugh, sort of like Pinkie." "Oh really, well I`d better talk to her then, get to know her," As she was walking away, I called her back, "Pinkie Promise me you won`t tell her." She did the movements, " Ah Pinkie Promise," Once she said that, we could hear Pinkie yelling,"Forever!!!!!!" We chuckled at our friend`s seriousness about the Pinkie Promise. "Spike, are ya comin?" I smiled at the sound of her voice, and nodded as I ran over to her. "Sorry Sliver, but I gotta go," She smiled warmly at me and my heart missed a beat. "OK, see you later Spike," and with that I ran off. A Busy Day(Applejack`s P.O.V) After Spike left, I walked over to Silver Moon, and said, "Howdy Silver Moon!" She was so startled, that the magic around the baskets of apples disappeared and they almost hit the ground, but she lit up her horn, and turned to me while the baskets floated inside the barn. I was amazed by how easily she can multi-task. "Hi Applejack, sorry about showing off last night, I wanted to surprise you," She grinned, and I swear, they were so white, the clouds looked dull. "I would like a apple pie though, it`s for dessert." "Well why didn't ya just say so? What kind do you want?" She again grinned, and said, "Can I sample?" "Sure, come on, we have some pies over at the house." I noticed the sun was setting, so I said, "Better hurry before darkness comes." She froze, and I mean, she literally froze, she didn't move a muscle. she then sweat dropped, and said "Can you please excuse me for a second?" I nodded and she ran through the orchard to the bat sanctuary. I secretly followed her, and when she got the, she called out to the bats, "My friends, please provide sanctuary for the next year," she bowed, and the bats bowed back. One bat came up to her and screeched. She giggled, held it close to her face and said, "Yes, it is me, I knew your great-great-great-great, and so many greats before you. But, I am in disguise, so you must not tell anypony. And thank you for the compliment!" All the bats screeched at her, and she again giggled," Why thank you, I`m still a little self conscious as Silver Moon, but thank you, please move out of the way, I need to raise the moon," they all obeyed, and when the sun fell, she lit up her horn, and a strand of magic went to the west, she lightly pulled her head up, and then slowly, the moon came out. Two lights came down, and then two alicorns descended, they had much more authority than Luna and Celestia. Silver Moon looked overjoyed, she ran up to them, and held them close. The female, golden alicorn, said, in a musical voice, said, "My daughter, do you know what you are doing? If you bear a child, then you will need to stay up during the day, when they do grow up, you will be heart-broken." she chuckled. Silver Moon stood tall and proud," I am ready, I have waited for so long, I say it once again, I am ready." The male, dark blue alicorn, tilted his head in my direction, laughed, and used his magic to pull me out, and said,"I'm sorry my child, but you cannot remember anything that happened tonight, Luna wants to bear a child, and I will not let anyone stand in her way by squealing on her," Silver Moon laughed, "Dad, I'm more than a thousand years old." He laughed and said with a serious face," Well, you`ll always be my little filly, and I want your dreams to come true, and besides, I want grandchildren." I started to struggle, and he looked at me, and sighed,"You really want out do you?"I nodded, and he lit his horn, and everything went black,and suddenly, I was outside the orchard, and I couldn't remember how I got there. (Luna`s P.O.V.) I woke up in a tree during about eight a.m., and there was bats around me. I yawned, and all the bats woke up, I smiled,"Go back to sleep, I`ll see you tonight." They obeyed, and I climbed on to the top of the tree, falling back asleep when I got there. Seven Hours Later "Silver Moon!" My eyes jotted open, and there, right in front of me was Fluttershy. I yawned and asked her,"Fluttershy, what are you doing here at eight in the morning?" "Its two in the afternoon, and I like to check up on the bats once in a while," she frowned, and I panicked, so my horn acted up, and suddenly I inside of Twilights royal castle library. "Silver Moon, what are you doing here, and why did you teleport here?" Twilight asked from behind me. I panicked again, and teleported twenty feet away from her. "Gosh Darnit horn, why do you do that to me?" I glared up at my horn. "Well, to answer your question Twilight, my stupid horn here,teleports me where ever it wants when I panic." "Hey Twilight, I got that book you wanted-" Spike`s voice stopped when he saw me. I gave a little wave with my hoof, and he waved back. (Spike`s P.O.V.) Last night I dreamt about Silver Moon and Celestia hugging, then Celestia and Silver Moon were fighting, when suddenly Silver turned into Nightmare Moon. Then, me and Silver were dating, and then we got married, and then we had kids,and then we grew old together. My dream kept on going back to Silver hugging me, crying as she turned in to Luna. But before she did, she whispered,'I love you.' that was seriously weird. And then when I woke up, she was still in my head. She was all morning too, and then when I was getting a book for Twilight, I saw her.... and again, the regal way that she held herself, like she was royalty, and that childish side of her drawled my in like bait. She was fishing, I took the bait, and she caught me, plain and simple. After she did a little wave, I felt like a puddle on the floor. With his heart pounding, I waved back. I ran over to Twilight, handed the book to Twilight, and stood next to her."How do you teleport without getting woozy or a headache? Even now, when I`m an Alicorn, I can't do that." She rubbed the back of her neck with her hoof, looking anywhere but at us. "Well," She stammered,"Well, it`s always been a talent of mine. I've been teleporting since a newborn filly." She laughed. "Like when my mother fell asleep with me in her hooves, I teleported to the cabinet, and fell asleep in a big bowl. When she woke up, she went frantic, and practically ripped the town apart until she found me in the bowl. She told me and my sister that story, we laughed." She snickered. "Well, better go fix up my house, bye," And she started to teleport away when Twilight jumped in with her, me, not one to be left behind, jumped in too. A Secret Almost Revealed(Twilight`s P.O.V) Instead of ending up in her house, we ended up in the royal throne room, and Silver Moon called out," Celestia, Im back, but Im only here for a visit, I need to get back to Ponyville." "Lu-" Celestia came in smiling. "Shhh, you don't know who's listening, remember, I`m Silver Moon now." Silver Moon interrupted her with her hoof. "O-hello Twilight, what are you doing here?" I held up my hoof, while rubbing my head. "I wanted to see what allowed Silver Moon to teleport without getting woozy." I then noticed Spike next to a plant, looking like he wanted to hurl. "Well, it didn't work ," Spike muttered. Silver Moon giggled, and said, "I already explained it to you." I frowned," Yeah. Also,what did you mean by you dont whose listening, and Im Silver Moon now?" Silver stuttered,"I-Well,I" Celestia came to her rescue,"Twilight, I do believe that`s none of your business, I mean, everypony is entitled to SOME secrets, aren't they?" I nodded, and I swear, I saw Silver breath a sigh of relief. "Here, why don't I teleport us all back, Spike can ride on my back. Would you like that Spike?" Spike nodded, and jogged over on to Silver Moon back. She looked back on him with a serious look on her face,"Don't vomit on me." he nodded and her silver aura enveloped us, and we we in Rarity's boutique. I looked at her and said,"Why did you pick here?" She shrugged, "I felt like getting a new dress, and," She gestured with her hoof," This is the best place to get one isn't it?" When I nodded, she grinned. "Hello, welcome to Rarity`s bou-" Rarity stopped when she saw us. "Oh, hello Twilight, Spike, Silver Moon, what brings you here?" She smiled. Silver declared,"I would like a new dress, simple yet elegant and easy to move around in." Rarity`s smile grew. "Well, let`s get it done." she said as she walked to the back of the shop. (Luna`s P.O.V.) Two Hours Later I stood like a statue as Rarity put the finishing touches on my new dress. I didn't want to look at it until it was finished. "And, finished!" Rarity`s voice rang out. I immediately turned around, and there it was in all its glory, was my new dress. The neckline was up to my head, had a silver gem on it, and little tiny diamonds woven through-out to look like stars. They actually seemed to twinkle. The whole dress was dark blue, with black trimmings on it. "Rarity? Can I ask one thing?" When she nodded, I added, "Can you add little ribbons for my shoes? Can they be dark blue?" "Of course darling," I smiled, "Thanks I`ll be here in about thirty minutes," With that, I ran out the door, and to the edge of the Ever-Free. I took a deep breath, made the spell, then, I had butterfly wings. When I flew to the castle, I felt a deep sense of nostalgia. This used to be our garden. I planted a batch of Poison Joke to play pranks on ponies. Hehe, those were good times. When I got there, I landed, and my wings kept on fluttering until they settled down. "Okay, wheres my room? Theres the throne room, kitchen, Tias room, ah, here it is!" I had reached the tower. When I opened the door, it was just how I left it, only with a lot more dust. I went over to my dresser, and got out my favorite tiara, a medium sized one, made out of silver, enchanted to stay clean. Then a dark, dark, dark, dark, purple jewel sat in the middle of the arch, also enchanted to stay clean and always twinkle. When I put it on my head, I felt calm, reserved. I flew back to Ponyville, and went to Raritys home, and said,"Rarity, Im back! And Im back with something you might want to see!" When I got no reply, I found a note on the wall. Silver Moon- I have went on a picnic with the girls and you are welcome to join us, and in your dress if you want to. We are at the park by the Everfree, hope to see you there! Yours Truely, Rarity. I grinned and got in to my dress, with my tiara on, and teleported to the park, since my wings melted. When I got there, I got my hair all done up, and walked to where the girls were. I can`t wait to see what they thought of the dress! (Spike`s P.O.V) My jaw dropped when I saw Silver in her dress. All of the details were perfect, she was perfect, the day was perfect with her in it. That tiara, was beautiful. It was like it was MADE for her. Oh, she looks absolutely lovely in it. (Big Mac`s P.O.V) When I got the apples to the girls picnic, Silver Moon was coming up the hill. I was about to yell, "Hey there Silver Moon," until I saw her in the dress. It was a dress fit for the Grand Galloping Gala. She was great at helpin me with ma chores, and she sure was pretty in that dress. When she saw me, she called out, " Hey there Big Mac, girls, Spike, how ya'll doing?" I feel like I blushed, but luckily for me, my coat is red, so you couldn't see it. I'm still undecided about Mrs.Cherliee. I think she likes me, but I cant be for sure. Apple Bloom and her friends keep on tryin to get us together. I like Mrs. Cherrliee, as a friend. Silver Moon though, I don't know. Mrs. Cherliee IS pretty, but not the kind of pretty Silver is. Silver doesnt know shes pretty, yet she knows and doesnt. It`s complicated..... We Learn Something New(Twilight`s P.O.V) I`ll admit, I'm suspicious of Silver Moon. Like when we teleported to the throne room, what was Celestia about to call her before Silver interrupted her? And who interrupts Celestia? Where did she did she get that tiara? As if by a miracle, Rarity asked,"My my my, where ever did you get that wonderful tiara?" "I've had forever, I've just never really thought about it," She said sheepishly. Rarity picked it up with her magic, and Silver Moon yelled,"No!" but it was too late. Vines immediately shot out, and covered Rarity from hoof to head. One vine shot out and covered her horn, cutting off her magic, and the tiara fell to the ground. Silver Moon sighed, and picked up her tiara. I tried to break the vines, but no luck. Pinkie tried her party cannon, Applejack tried to bite them off, and so on. All with no such luck. I looked at Silver Moon, who was calmly eating a piece of apple pie. "What are you doing?!" I cried. She looked up and said," I'm eating a piece of pie." I was so mad, I rage shifted. She just calmly look at me and chuckled. "Its a simple spell really. Its just a spell to keep the stealer of the tiara from moving until somepony finds him or her. It reacts to anyponys hooves, wings, or magic except mine. Its not hurting her. And I know the anti-spell to get rid of those horrid, horrid vines. It was actually really funny to see Tia wrapped up in those vines, trying to take my tiara as a prank." She chuckled again. Everypony yelled,"Get her out of there!" She sighed, and made a beam of magic hit the vines, and symbols circled around the vines. I could feel the magic, it was powerful, and ancient, but Silver Moon didn't even seem tired. Hmmm, interesting. When the vines fell away and disappeared without a trace. Rarity gasped for air, but before she fell, Silver Moon`s magic enveloped her, her dramatic couch appeared, and she was laid on it. And the while Silver Moon was eating pie, and she hadn`t got any crumbs on her dress. They were also within her magic. I was amazed, she could multi-task better than even Rarity. She was sitting straight, and when she looked at us, she said with her mouth full, asked, "What? Do I have pie on my face?" We all shook our heads, and she breathed a sigh of relief, "I still do that." She then noticed the sun setting, and asked, "May you please excuse me for a moment.?" We nodded and she walked away gracefully.......to the Ever-Free. When she disappeared, I turned to the girls and said, "Somethings not right about her." "What do ya mean Twi?" AJ asked me confused. I sighed, clearly annoyed, "I mean that she`s too good to be true. I mean where can you find a better multi-tasker than Rarity? Where can you find someone who knows all those spells and that spell that trapped Rarity?" She shrugged, "I don't know, maybe she reads a lot, maybe she has books that you don`t." I sighed," That`s exactly the point, I have every single magic book on Equestria,well except the ones in the royal archive, and I had only read two of those books, but nopony is allowed to read those." "Well maybe she is, I don't know." I gritted my teeth, "Calm down, I`m sure she just discovered a spell and put it on that tiara."Applejack stated. "Maybe," I said as Luna`s moon began to rise. When it was at its peak in the night sky, only then did Silver Moon come back, and she seemed at ease. "Hey Silver Moon, where did you go?" I asked her suspiciously. "Oh no where, I just went to enjoy the moon rising, and talk to night animals," At our shocked expressions she hurried on."Oh did I forget to mention, I can talk to night animals such as bats. Oh they do give the most lovely compliments. I`ll introduce them to you," We all shared a look," Oh Dark Night, Dawn, and Black Star, could you come down here for a moment? I want to introduce you to the friends I told you about!" When she finished, three bats came flying as fast as they could. When they reached her, they screeched, and she giggled. I looked over and everypony was confused, so I cast a translation spell, and soon enough we all heard what they said. "Its an honor millady, what can we do for you?" Silver Moon sighed and said, "I told you Black Star, you can call me Silver." All the other bats screeched, and flew away, while Silver Moon basked in the glow of the moonlight, not tired at all, even though it was well an hour after sunset. "Aren't you tired at all?" She shook her head,"No, I`m almost always wide awake at night." I yawned, and Applejack chuckled,"Well it seems that we had better get to bed huh?" We all nodded, but Silver Moon stayed behind, "Sugarcube?" When she got no reply,she said again,"Sugarcube?" Something Unexpected(Luna's POV) When Applejack called "Sugar-cube" I was lost in memories. It had been centuries since I could have been around someone without me having royal duties, or them being afraid of me. I gave a small sigh, thinking of my friends before I became a princess. We would always prank the other adults when we were filly's and colts, I miss them. I felt a few tears trickle down my face, just like every time I think of them.......No matter, they are with my father now, prancing across the night sky, playing pranks on him...... I felt them hugging me, and I let them. "I'm sorry that I ruined the picnic, I was just thinking of my old friends......we haven't talked for a while." Pinkie gasped. "Well then, we'll just have to go reunite you with them!" I bit my bottom lip, my horn starting to glow a harsh silver, the moon so longer shining down softly on us, no it was harsh, and mean. I took a deep breath, and said, "The reason that we haven' t talked for a while, is because, they-they-they died." I broke off sobbing, my horn giving off a dim glow. "Excuse me, I will see you tomorrow. I just need to think and honor them." and with that, I turned and galloped away, tears streaming down my face, making it hard for me to see. I didn't see a rick up ahead, making me trip, and hit my head on a trunk of a tree, effectively knocking me unconscious. (Nobody's POV) Pinkie stood, not seeing or hearing anything while everypony talked around her until she snapped. "Alright SHUT UP!!!! We have a friend in need, and we need to go comfort her!" They all quieted down, and together they marched in to the night, calling and looking for their lost friend. (Luna's POV) I awoke to a soft bed, and the smell of broth. I was hungry, I hadn't eaten at the picnic. The broth was in a bowl by my head, and I eagerly gulped it down. It tasted of carrots and mushrooms, and was quite good. "I see you're awake." A deep baritone voice said. I know that voice, it was a solider of the Night Guard. I had made it business ti know each of my guard. This pony's name was Ink Spot, and he was a unicorn with a grey coat, black mane and tail with a cutie mark of a piece of parchment with a large black spot on it. "Hello,and you are?" I asked pleasantly, folding my front two hooves in front of me and looking at him straight in the eye. He had deep blue eyes, with a lot of depth in them. "I'm Ink Spot, and I do not know your name." "I am Silver Moon, and thank you for all this." I said gesturing to the bowl, the bed, and me. He gave me a small smile, "Your welcome, and where did you come from?" I answered "Ponyville" He raised a eyebrow. "That`s a long way away, what happened?" I raised my own. "Where are we?" He laughed, and shook his head. "That's not a answer." "Fine, I got upset, tried to run home, hit a tree, and passed out. Now I ask my question again, where are we?" "Fair enough, you're in the outskirts of Unicorn Range." Had I really run that far? I wondered. ' (Spike's POV) "Silver Moon! Silver Moon, where are you?" I called out. I had been looking for hours, with nothing to eat. It was at least one in the afternoon. Silver Moon had left around nine. My tears had long dried, but they were threatening to spill. We had not seen any sign of her anywhere.......what are we going to do, Faust, what am I going to do? I love Silver Moon, where did she go? I ran a bit farther until I collapsed from exhaustion. Where was she?!
The Begining"What did I do, what did I do to deserve this?" A little filly whispered, tears streaming down her face. I was heartbroken, so I myself revealed to her. "Child, you did nothing," I said gently. " They are just blind to real talent. They pretend they do know real talent and they have it, but they are wrong about both. YOU have real talent." The little filly smiled and began playing the flute beautifully. I smiled and I withdrew from the dream realm altogether. I shook my head, and looked at my surroundings. Oh, horse apples. I must have gotten bored at dinner and went to the dream realm. Celestia was looking at me clearly annoyed. " What? You were talking about politics, you know how bored I get!" Celestia just sighed and shook her head. " You know that you have Night Court, so you SHOULD know these things! Did you just doze off, or did you zone out, or did you go to the Dream Realm?" I just shrugged. "The Dream Realm. I helped a little flute prodigy. Apparently her brothers have been mean to her, saying that she would never become a famous musician. They take her flute away. I told her that they dont know true talent and thats what she has. I think I might just go over to her house and tell those brothers what`s what. That will teach them. Either that or I will put them in her shoes in their dreams. I don't know yet. But, I will have to choose." I grinned mischieviously, thinking of all of the fun I could have. I almost laughed, almost, Tia was glaring at me. "What do you mean, that either you will put them in her shoes, and what exactly is going on at that house?" I scowled, so bucking angry those brothers. " They smash her flute, lock her in her room for days at a time without food or water, and they do so many more terrible things. You know what, I'm gonna go there right now, and yell at them, and then tonight, I`ll make their dreams her life. Bye-Bye Tia." Before Tia could say anything I teleported by her house. I walked up to their door and knocked. Somepony half groaned, half yelled, " Who is it? If you're selling something, we don't want it!" "It is I Princess Luna, the Protector of thous dreams, Co-Ruler and Founder of this nation Equestria, and Bringer of the Night Sky, The Stars, and The Moon," I heard some scrambling inside, probably cleaning. " I wish to enter thous home." A minute or two passed, and all the while I was playing with my mane. I don't know why, but I love to play connect the dots with the stars in my mane. It helps pass the time. I created Pinkie Pie with a batch of cupcakes, and with one in the air, right above her mouth. I dont know how she isn`t the size of Canterlot, with the amount of sweets she eats in a day. I held in a snort as the door opened and a light brown earth pony opened the door, and let me in. It was clear that they hurriedly cleaned the place. "Oh my, your highness, what a surprise it is. What brings you to my humble abode?" They bowed. "Oh nothing, oh and where`s your younger sister? And don't thou dare try to deny that you don't have one, because I know you do." I finished with a forced smile. 'I would like nothing more than to beat them to a little purple pulp' I thought savagely. "O-of course, Ill go get her," he said nervously. When he walked up the stairs, he called,"Music Note, we have a special guest, she came all the way from Canterlot to see us," When she didn't come out of her room, he smiled at me," Of course Ill go get her myself." I just smiled and nodded,waiting. When he came back with the tiny unicorn filly, I could at once see the affects that they've put on her. You could see her tiny ribs, and the bruises. I bent my head down and smiled gently at her, " Hello child," But it seemed she didn't hear me because she was too busy playing with my mane. Chuckling I said, " Would you like to play with my mane?" She nodded enthusiastically. I picked her up with my magic, and gently put her in it. I then put a simple spell to make sure she doesn`t hear any of our conversation. "Your majesty, are you sure that it`s okay that our sister plays within your mane?" I simply nodded, thinking that I would like to have a filly or colt one day. "You see, the reason I came, well, you know how I walk, and help ponies overcome their fears in their dreams?" They nodded, and, so I continued. " Well, earlier, I walked in to Music Note`s dream, and do you know what I saw?" They both asked, "What did you see?" My face turned into a scowl, " I saw you two starving her, breaking her flute, and punching her, and so many worse things. And don't you try to deny it, Ive saw her ribs and the bruises. And I'm almost positive that if I open up the closet door, I will see a pile of broken flutes. As so, as it is within my power, I remove her from you and place her with one of my trusted advisors. She has always wanted a child of her own, and now, I leave the child with her. I will see to that shes properly fed, and has a new flute. Good day to you sirs." At that, I walked out the door. I flew back to the castle, and when I got there, I ordered two daffodil sandwiches, and carrot soup. After she ate those, I put her on my back, and flew to Midnight Moon`s house. I let myself in, she was at the fireplace. She loved her at first sight. Half an hour later, I was back in the castle, thinking once again about how I would like a child of my own. I sighed, and then, when I just finished sighing, my sister walked through the door of my bedroom, no knocking or anything! "What is the matter Lulu?" She asked "Oh nothing, its just that, I just love children, but I cant have any of my own. How did Mother get pregnant? I just want one child,one child to call my own, one child to love and care for, one child to to-" I sighed again, "Never mind Tia, I guess that`s the downside to being a immortal pony." I hung my head, feeling tears come to my eyes. My sister frowned, "I do know how Mother got pregnant, but I don`t think your going to like it," My head shot up, " You do? Tell me Tia, tell me now! I want my own child," I demanded, starting to break up. Tia sighed, " Ill tell you. First you have to give up two of your abilities. Like, your horn, or your wings,or your Earth pony strength. Once that is done, you have one year to find your very-special somepony. If you dont you have to wait another year to try again." "Done" I set my mouth into a determined jaw line, and narrowed my eyes. "Okay, just give me a couple minutes to decide," Tia nodded, and left me to decide. Well, Im very used to my horn and wings, so my Earth pony strength is out of the question. Hm........ I guess I can live without my wings, though I sure would miss them. Ive decided. I concentrated my magic, and I felt my strength weaken and my wings disappear. I also felt myself getting shorter, not by much, but still shorter. When I opened my eyes, I still looked like Princess Luna, only shorter and with no wings. I then called Tia back in, and when I looked at myself I still had my cutie mark,and everything else- minus wings."Tia, will you help me change my appearance? I need to, because people will still recognize me. We need it to last for a whole year." She slowly nodded, and with her magic, and mine, she changed my appearance. Now this wasn't just a simple illusion spell, this was ancient magic that our mother used to have us. My eyes turned light blue, and my mane and tail turned silver with one dark blue strip through each. my coat was a deep, deep purple. my cutie mark turned into a silver full moon. I tried my magic, it was silver. For my name, I decided Silver Moon. When I looked in the mirror, I looked like your regular old run-of-the-mill unicorn. I threw my forelegs around Tia, and cried, "Thank you, thank you so much!" "Now, how will I get out of the castle? Oh, I know! Ill pretend that Im part of the tour group. Bye Tia!" I said as I raced out of there, grabbing some bits as I went. When I caught up to the group, they were ready to leave. At the train station, I bought a one way ticket to Ponyville. At Ponyville, since I was starved, I bought two apples from Applejack. As I was walking to the mayors office, I ran into Pinkie Pie. She jumped like ten feet in to the air, and sped off. When I got to the mayors office, I was let in. I put on a bright smile and said " Hi, my name is Silver Moon, and I would like a house. Somewhere close to town, but close to the Everfree. Im a fan of its natural beauty and dangers." I thought of the ancestors of them, they were so nice. "Really, you want a house close to the Everfree Forest," She asked with a face of disbelief. I nodded. "Well, I have just the home for you, it may be just a little run down, but it`s exactly what you're looking for." I again smiled brightly "Thanks so very much, now I need to know where it is." "It`s about 3 miles in front of Zecora's hut." "Thanks, I`ll be going now." I walked out if there and went to the saddlebag shop. I ordered a white saddlebag with my cutie mark as a clasp. I thought about it, and decided to go borrow a book from the castle. I got a book thats about Equestrias history. There I met Twilight without her treating me like royalty, it was a nice change. The conversation went like this- Me- "Hi, I would like to-" T- " Pinkie Pie, I don't want to be pranked, I have lot of reading do, so can you please leave me alone?" Me- "I`m not-" T-" Pinkie, I told you-" Me- " I'M NOT PINKIE!" T- " Im so sorry, but, she usually comes at this hour, I wonder whats keeping her." Just as those words left her muzzle, Pinkie zoomed in, whispered something in Twilight`s ear, took one look at me, then zoomed out again. Now thinking about it, I probably should have known what she whispered.
In PonyvilleI walked to my new house for the year, and she was right, it was a little run-down a bit, nothing a little magic can`t fix. When I walked inside, I used a simple light spell, and there was a party. Figures, I thought. But, since I was more than a thousand years old, I was an expert on acting surprised. One of my many talents. Pinkie Pie bounced up to me, and said, " HimynameisPinkiePieIthrewyouthispartytowelcomeyoutoPonyville," I backed up a little, feeling a little scared. I mean, come on! I`ve faced almost all of the threats to Equestria, and here I am scared of a pink pony who talks really fast! "Hello," I said keeping my voice level, " Im Silver Moon, and I actually understood all that you said. Youre Pinkie Pie, party pony extraordinaire and Element of Laughter, part of the Elements of Harmony, and you returned your Element to the Tree of Harmony. You have faced up against Nightmare Moon, Discord twice, Tirek, a dragon who threatened the health of Equestria, Queen Chrysalis and Sombra. You helped Princess Luna have fun on Nightmare Night. You are friends with Cheese Sandwich, the only party pony who is even close to rivaling your parties," She stood agape, and the whole room had gone quiet. Twilight stepped forward, " How do you know all this?" I turned to face her, " And youre Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship, youre brothers to Shining Armour, Prince of the Crystal Empire. You used to be Princess Celestia prized and private pupil. You represent the Element of Magic, and have finished Starswirl the Beared unfinished masterpiece. I can even say the rest of the spell if you would like me to," She shook her head. " You have an assistant named Spike, who is a baby dragon. You`re old foal sitter, Princess Cadence, was kidnapped by the Changeling queen, Queen Chrysalis during her wedding to your brother. You helped Cadence defeat her, by letting her go to Shining Armour. You then helped Cadence protect the Crystal Empire. You lost your tree house home to Tirek, and were able to shoulder the weight of power from four alicorns. Also you were able to raise the sun and set the moon on your first try, granted not very well, but you still did it. Does anypony else want me to tell you about your self?" "Oh and Twilight, I have connections leading up to Princess Luna and Celestia, So, I know everything major that has happened in Equestria." I smiled mischievously, and then shot a ray of magic to Pinkie Pie, turning her into a cake. I then cast a invisibility spell, and then, I was gone. Ponies looked around, and I cast a anti- gravitational spell, and made myself visible. And all the while ponies were saying " Where did she go? How did she turn Pinkie in to a cake?" and all that rubbish. "Aren't you looking for me?" I asked floating in air. Rainbow Dash, and Twilight flew up to me, both of them saying different things. Rainbow Dash said, " That was so AWESOME!" To that I just smiled and nodded. Twilight said, " How did you do that? What were those spells?" I answered, " The first one was a transformation spell. The second one was an invisibility spell. The last one was and is, a anti- gravitational spell." She was shocked. "I thought I was the most powerful unicorn alive, and I can't do those spells." I smirked, " Well, heres the thing, my magic is as powerful as yours when you were a unicorn, and YOURE A ALICORN, A PRINCESS! And, I`m just a unicorn" I then broke the spell, and summoned a spell, for a cloud, and did the same spell that Twilight did for the best young flyers competition,and landed on it. I then lowered it to the ground and made it disappear. I smirked, and yelled, " Lets get this party started!"
At The Farm*The Next Day* ( Luna`s P.O.V) Time to go get some supplies for my house. As I walked in to town, I looked up at the sky longingy. Oh, how I would like to just fly in to the sky and not come down, but I made my decicien, I`m just a regular old unicorn, unable to fly. But, I can make a cloud. When I walked in to the hard-ware store, I bought some hammers, nails, screws, and screw-drivers. As I was walking back to my home to fix it up, I ran in to Big Macintosh. "Oh, hey Big Macintosh, how ya been?" "Good," "Oh,good, well, sorry for running in to you, I better not keep tho- you any longer. I`ll just be on my way, oh by the way, what are you doing?" "Going to ma` farm to buck some apples." "Maybe I could help, I mean, I probably can`t buck any apples, but I could probably bring in the apples to the barn. Is that okay?" "Eyuop`" "Cool, Ill meet you there in lick-a-dee split.," and with that, I ran off to my house, tossed my things in, and teleported to the farm. "Ow,ow,ow, man, this used to so easy, know I cant so it with out getting a headache, Ow!" I yelped while rubbing my forehead, I then shook my head and ran to the barn. Huh, I was there before Big Macintosh. "Hmm......Oh! Silver Moon, I didn`t know you were here!" Twilight exclaimed, almost dropping her apple basket and Spike. Well, Spike fell off. "Yeah, what are you doing here Silver Moon?" Spike said while rubbing his head. I laughed, " I could say the same to you too! Well, I could say something, but Ill wait till you say what youre doing here as well." Spike had this dreamy look on his face, and my eyebrow raised on its own accord. Twilight jumped in to save him, "Were just helping Applejack with her chores," "Really, so am I! Well, not Applejack, but Big Macintosh," Judging by her expression, she was confused, so I hurried on. "I ran in to him on the street, and he agrreed to let me help him with his chores," I saw him over Twilights shoulder. "There he is now, Id better go meet him, and with that,I ran out. (Twilight`s P.O.V) When Silver Moon ran off, Spike sighed, I knew that sigh, that`s his love sigh. He stared after Silver Moon, and then I knew that he had a crush on her. "Spike, do you have a crush on her?" Insted of answering, he mummered, " Her laugh is so beautiful." He sighed again, and I knew that he did. "Spike, I thought you had a crush on Rarity," He turned to me, and said sadly, " I knew after a year she would never like me the way I liked her, but there was a sliver of hope in me, so I kept on loving her, but after Trender Hooves came and went, there was no doubt in my mind that she would ever love me, but I kept up the act, but now, after meeting Silver Moon, I know in my heart,that one day she might." He stared at Silver Moon,who had two baskets on her back and six more floating within her magic, waiting for more. I realized that tears were streaming down my face, and I wiped them off. I pulled Spike close, and hugged him so very tightly. "Twilight, I can`t breath!" Spike gasped. I laughed, and asked " Spike, can I tell Rarity that you had a crush on her now?" He grinned," Sure." "Alright, let`s finish this up." *Two Hours Later* I burst in to Rarity`s boutique, and,breaking the peaceful silence with, "Rarity!" Rarity came in with her glasses on and asked, " Twilight, darling, whats the matter? You know what, lets talk about it over a cup of tea." I shook my head, "Spike has had a crush on you ever since he saw you, but after Trender Hooves, he knew you could never love him the way that he loved you, but he kept up the act, but about two hours ago, that act crumbled down when he saw and heard Sliver Moon laugh and talk. So now he has a crush on her instead of you, and he gave me perrmission to tell you all this information." Rarity was shocked. "Really? My little Spikey-Wikey has had a crush on me this whole time?" I sent her a look, " You really didnt know? Here Ill show you," and then cast a memory spell. After seeing that, Raritys eyes were filled with tears. When I went over to comfort her, she didnt refuse, and I spent 5 minutes comforting her. (Spike`s P.O.V) Once we, Twilight and I were done, I walked over to Silver Moon and said, "Hey Silver Moon," She laughed, and it was the laugh of a angel, full of happiness, love, life and sounded like music. "Its okay if you call me Silver Spike, I dont mind." Me,being the idiot dragon that I am, blushed. She laughed and said, "Spike, did you put blush on?" "No! Silver, why did you say that? I`m a boy!" She laughed again, and it took my breath away. "Hey, do you want to ride on my back to the barn? We`ve finished this section, right Big Mac?" And sure enough, she held twelve baskets in her magic. "Eyoup," "Sure Silver." When we got there, I saw Applejack, slid off Silver`s back, and ran up to her, and asked to speak to her in private. When we did get some privacy," Ok, Spike, what in tarnation is this all about?" It came out in a rush, "What do you do when you like somepony, but you dont want them to know that you like them because you dont want to lose your friendship, do you act casual? What do you do?" "Is this about Rarity?" "No, I havent liked her since Trendor Hooves, the rest was a act. Its about Silver Moon," My cheeks turneed scarlet, " I dont want her to know that I like her, because I dont want to lose our friendship, but how do I act around her? How?" Applejack was shocked, "Why in tarnatin do you like Silver Moon? To me she feels like a big show-off," I shook my head,"Shes not, shes a good hearted pony, I mean look at her, shes helping your brother with his chores by carrying in fourteen baskets, tweleve with her magic, and two on her back, each filled with apples, in to the barn. Sure, she likes to tease, but its all in good humour. Like last night, from what Twilight told me, she did a bunch of tricks to make people laugh, sort of like Pinkie." "Oh really, well I`d better talk to her then, get to know her," As she was walking away, I called her back, "Pinkie Promise me you won`t tell her." She did the movements, " Ah Pinkie Promise," Once she said that, we could hear Pinkie yelling,"Forever!!!!!!" We chuckled at our friend`s seriousness about the Pinkie Promise. "Spike, are ya comin?" I smiled at the sound of her voice, and nodded as I ran over to her. "Sorry Sliver, but I gotta go," She smiled warmly at me and my heart missed a beat. "OK, see you later Spike," and with that I ran off.
A Busy Day(Applejack`s P.O.V) After Spike left, I walked over to Silver Moon, and said, "Howdy Silver Moon!" She was so startled, that the magic around the baskets of apples disappeared and they almost hit the ground, but she lit up her horn, and turned to me while the baskets floated inside the barn. I was amazed by how easily she can multi-task. "Hi Applejack, sorry about showing off last night, I wanted to surprise you," She grinned, and I swear, they were so white, the clouds looked dull. "I would like a apple pie though, it`s for dessert." "Well why didn't ya just say so? What kind do you want?" She again grinned, and said, "Can I sample?" "Sure, come on, we have some pies over at the house." I noticed the sun was setting, so I said, "Better hurry before darkness comes." She froze, and I mean, she literally froze, she didn't move a muscle. she then sweat dropped, and said "Can you please excuse me for a second?" I nodded and she ran through the orchard to the bat sanctuary. I secretly followed her, and when she got the, she called out to the bats, "My friends, please provide sanctuary for the next year," she bowed, and the bats bowed back. One bat came up to her and screeched. She giggled, held it close to her face and said, "Yes, it is me, I knew your great-great-great-great, and so many greats before you. But, I am in disguise, so you must not tell anypony. And thank you for the compliment!" All the bats screeched at her, and she again giggled," Why thank you, I`m still a little self conscious as Silver Moon, but thank you, please move out of the way, I need to raise the moon," they all obeyed, and when the sun fell, she lit up her horn, and a strand of magic went to the west, she lightly pulled her head up, and then slowly, the moon came out. Two lights came down, and then two alicorns descended, they had much more authority than Luna and Celestia. Silver Moon looked overjoyed, she ran up to them, and held them close. The female, golden alicorn, said, in a musical voice, said, "My daughter, do you know what you are doing? If you bear a child, then you will need to stay up during the day, when they do grow up, you will be heart-broken." she chuckled. Silver Moon stood tall and proud," I am ready, I have waited for so long, I say it once again, I am ready." The male, dark blue alicorn, tilted his head in my direction, laughed, and used his magic to pull me out, and said,"I'm sorry my child, but you cannot remember anything that happened tonight, Luna wants to bear a child, and I will not let anyone stand in her way by squealing on her," Silver Moon laughed, "Dad, I'm more than a thousand years old." He laughed and said with a serious face," Well, you`ll always be my little filly, and I want your dreams to come true, and besides, I want grandchildren." I started to struggle, and he looked at me, and sighed,"You really want out do you?"I nodded, and he lit his horn, and everything went black,and suddenly, I was outside the orchard, and I couldn't remember how I got there. (Luna`s P.O.V.) I woke up in a tree during about eight a.m., and there was bats around me. I yawned, and all the bats woke up, I smiled,"Go back to sleep, I`ll see you tonight." They obeyed, and I climbed on to the top of the tree, falling back asleep when I got there. Seven Hours Later "Silver Moon!" My eyes jotted open, and there, right in front of me was Fluttershy. I yawned and asked her,"Fluttershy, what are you doing here at eight in the morning?" "Its two in the afternoon, and I like to check up on the bats once in a while," she frowned, and I panicked, so my horn acted up, and suddenly I inside of Twilights royal castle library. "Silver Moon, what are you doing here, and why did you teleport here?" Twilight asked from behind me. I panicked again, and teleported twenty feet away from her. "Gosh Darnit horn, why do you do that to me?" I glared up at my horn. "Well, to answer your question Twilight, my stupid horn here,teleports me where ever it wants when I panic." "Hey Twilight, I got that book you wanted-" Spike`s voice stopped when he saw me. I gave a little wave with my hoof, and he waved back. (Spike`s P.O.V.) Last night I dreamt about Silver Moon and Celestia hugging, then Celestia and Silver Moon were fighting, when suddenly Silver turned into Nightmare Moon. Then, me and Silver were dating, and then we got married, and then we had kids,and then we grew old together. My dream kept on going back to Silver hugging me, crying as she turned in to Luna. But before she did, she whispered,'I love you.' that was seriously weird. And then when I woke up, she was still in my head. She was all morning too, and then when I was getting a book for Twilight, I saw her.... and again, the regal way that she held herself, like she was royalty, and that childish side of her drawled my in like bait. She was fishing, I took the bait, and she caught me, plain and simple. After she did a little wave, I felt like a puddle on the floor. With his heart pounding, I waved back. I ran over to Twilight, handed the book to Twilight, and stood next to her."How do you teleport without getting woozy or a headache? Even now, when I`m an Alicorn, I can't do that." She rubbed the back of her neck with her hoof, looking anywhere but at us. "Well," She stammered,"Well, it`s always been a talent of mine. I've been teleporting since a newborn filly." She laughed. "Like when my mother fell asleep with me in her hooves, I teleported to the cabinet, and fell asleep in a big bowl. When she woke up, she went frantic, and practically ripped the town apart until she found me in the bowl. She told me and my sister that story, we laughed." She snickered. "Well, better go fix up my house, bye," And she started to teleport away when Twilight jumped in with her, me, not one to be left behind, jumped in too.
A Secret Almost Revealed(Twilight`s P.O.V) Instead of ending up in her house, we ended up in the royal throne room, and Silver Moon called out," Celestia, Im back, but Im only here for a visit, I need to get back to Ponyville." "Lu-" Celestia came in smiling. "Shhh, you don't know who's listening, remember, I`m Silver Moon now." Silver Moon interrupted her with her hoof. "O-hello Twilight, what are you doing here?" I held up my hoof, while rubbing my head. "I wanted to see what allowed Silver Moon to teleport without getting woozy." I then noticed Spike next to a plant, looking like he wanted to hurl. "Well, it didn't work ," Spike muttered. Silver Moon giggled, and said, "I already explained it to you." I frowned," Yeah. Also,what did you mean by you dont whose listening, and Im Silver Moon now?" Silver stuttered,"I-Well,I" Celestia came to her rescue,"Twilight, I do believe that`s none of your business, I mean, everypony is entitled to SOME secrets, aren't they?" I nodded, and I swear, I saw Silver breath a sigh of relief. "Here, why don't I teleport us all back, Spike can ride on my back. Would you like that Spike?" Spike nodded, and jogged over on to Silver Moon back. She looked back on him with a serious look on her face,"Don't vomit on me." he nodded and her silver aura enveloped us, and we we in Rarity's boutique. I looked at her and said,"Why did you pick here?" She shrugged, "I felt like getting a new dress, and," She gestured with her hoof," This is the best place to get one isn't it?" When I nodded, she grinned. "Hello, welcome to Rarity`s bou-" Rarity stopped when she saw us. "Oh, hello Twilight, Spike, Silver Moon, what brings you here?" She smiled. Silver declared,"I would like a new dress, simple yet elegant and easy to move around in." Rarity`s smile grew. "Well, let`s get it done." she said as she walked to the back of the shop. (Luna`s P.O.V.) Two Hours Later I stood like a statue as Rarity put the finishing touches on my new dress. I didn't want to look at it until it was finished. "And, finished!" Rarity`s voice rang out. I immediately turned around, and there it was in all its glory, was my new dress. The neckline was up to my head, had a silver gem on it, and little tiny diamonds woven through-out to look like stars. They actually seemed to twinkle. The whole dress was dark blue, with black trimmings on it. "Rarity? Can I ask one thing?" When she nodded, I added, "Can you add little ribbons for my shoes? Can they be dark blue?" "Of course darling," I smiled, "Thanks I`ll be here in about thirty minutes," With that, I ran out the door, and to the edge of the Ever-Free. I took a deep breath, made the spell, then, I had butterfly wings. When I flew to the castle, I felt a deep sense of nostalgia. This used to be our garden. I planted a batch of Poison Joke to play pranks on ponies. Hehe, those were good times. When I got there, I landed, and my wings kept on fluttering until they settled down. "Okay, wheres my room? Theres the throne room, kitchen, Tias room, ah, here it is!" I had reached the tower. When I opened the door, it was just how I left it, only with a lot more dust. I went over to my dresser, and got out my favorite tiara, a medium sized one, made out of silver, enchanted to stay clean. Then a dark, dark, dark, dark, purple jewel sat in the middle of the arch, also enchanted to stay clean and always twinkle. When I put it on my head, I felt calm, reserved. I flew back to Ponyville, and went to Raritys home, and said,"Rarity, Im back! And Im back with something you might want to see!" When I got no reply, I found a note on the wall. Silver Moon- I have went on a picnic with the girls and you are welcome to join us, and in your dress if you want to. We are at the park by the Everfree, hope to see you there! Yours Truely, Rarity. I grinned and got in to my dress, with my tiara on, and teleported to the park, since my wings melted. When I got there, I got my hair all done up, and walked to where the girls were. I can`t wait to see what they thought of the dress! (Spike`s P.O.V) My jaw dropped when I saw Silver in her dress. All of the details were perfect, she was perfect, the day was perfect with her in it. That tiara, was beautiful. It was like it was MADE for her. Oh, she looks absolutely lovely in it. (Big Mac`s P.O.V) When I got the apples to the girls picnic, Silver Moon was coming up the hill. I was about to yell, "Hey there Silver Moon," until I saw her in the dress. It was a dress fit for the Grand Galloping Gala. She was great at helpin me with ma chores, and she sure was pretty in that dress. When she saw me, she called out, " Hey there Big Mac, girls, Spike, how ya'll doing?" I feel like I blushed, but luckily for me, my coat is red, so you couldn't see it. I'm still undecided about Mrs.Cherliee. I think she likes me, but I cant be for sure. Apple Bloom and her friends keep on tryin to get us together. I like Mrs. Cherrliee, as a friend. Silver Moon though, I don't know. Mrs. Cherliee IS pretty, but not the kind of pretty Silver is. Silver doesnt know shes pretty, yet she knows and doesnt. It`s complicated.....
We Learn Something New(Twilight`s P.O.V) I`ll admit, I'm suspicious of Silver Moon. Like when we teleported to the throne room, what was Celestia about to call her before Silver interrupted her? And who interrupts Celestia? Where did she did she get that tiara? As if by a miracle, Rarity asked,"My my my, where ever did you get that wonderful tiara?" "I've had forever, I've just never really thought about it," She said sheepishly. Rarity picked it up with her magic, and Silver Moon yelled,"No!" but it was too late. Vines immediately shot out, and covered Rarity from hoof to head. One vine shot out and covered her horn, cutting off her magic, and the tiara fell to the ground. Silver Moon sighed, and picked up her tiara. I tried to break the vines, but no luck. Pinkie tried her party cannon, Applejack tried to bite them off, and so on. All with no such luck. I looked at Silver Moon, who was calmly eating a piece of apple pie. "What are you doing?!" I cried. She looked up and said," I'm eating a piece of pie." I was so mad, I rage shifted. She just calmly look at me and chuckled. "Its a simple spell really. Its just a spell to keep the stealer of the tiara from moving until somepony finds him or her. It reacts to anyponys hooves, wings, or magic except mine. Its not hurting her. And I know the anti-spell to get rid of those horrid, horrid vines. It was actually really funny to see Tia wrapped up in those vines, trying to take my tiara as a prank." She chuckled again. Everypony yelled,"Get her out of there!" She sighed, and made a beam of magic hit the vines, and symbols circled around the vines. I could feel the magic, it was powerful, and ancient, but Silver Moon didn't even seem tired. Hmmm, interesting. When the vines fell away and disappeared without a trace. Rarity gasped for air, but before she fell, Silver Moon`s magic enveloped her, her dramatic couch appeared, and she was laid on it. And the while Silver Moon was eating pie, and she hadn`t got any crumbs on her dress. They were also within her magic. I was amazed, she could multi-task better than even Rarity. She was sitting straight, and when she looked at us, she said with her mouth full, asked, "What? Do I have pie on my face?" We all shook our heads, and she breathed a sigh of relief, "I still do that." She then noticed the sun setting, and asked, "May you please excuse me for a moment.?" We nodded and she walked away gracefully.......to the Ever-Free. When she disappeared, I turned to the girls and said, "Somethings not right about her." "What do ya mean Twi?" AJ asked me confused. I sighed, clearly annoyed, "I mean that she`s too good to be true. I mean where can you find a better multi-tasker than Rarity? Where can you find someone who knows all those spells and that spell that trapped Rarity?" She shrugged, "I don't know, maybe she reads a lot, maybe she has books that you don`t." I sighed," That`s exactly the point, I have every single magic book on Equestria,well except the ones in the royal archive, and I had only read two of those books, but nopony is allowed to read those." "Well maybe she is, I don't know." I gritted my teeth, "Calm down, I`m sure she just discovered a spell and put it on that tiara."Applejack stated. "Maybe," I said as Luna`s moon began to rise. When it was at its peak in the night sky, only then did Silver Moon come back, and she seemed at ease. "Hey Silver Moon, where did you go?" I asked her suspiciously. "Oh no where, I just went to enjoy the moon rising, and talk to night animals," At our shocked expressions she hurried on."Oh did I forget to mention, I can talk to night animals such as bats. Oh they do give the most lovely compliments. I`ll introduce them to you," We all shared a look," Oh Dark Night, Dawn, and Black Star, could you come down here for a moment? I want to introduce you to the friends I told you about!" When she finished, three bats came flying as fast as they could. When they reached her, they screeched, and she giggled. I looked over and everypony was confused, so I cast a translation spell, and soon enough we all heard what they said. "Its an honor millady, what can we do for you?" Silver Moon sighed and said, "I told you Black Star, you can call me Silver." All the other bats screeched, and flew away, while Silver Moon basked in the glow of the moonlight, not tired at all, even though it was well an hour after sunset. "Aren't you tired at all?" She shook her head,"No, I`m almost always wide awake at night." I yawned, and Applejack chuckled,"Well it seems that we had better get to bed huh?" We all nodded, but Silver Moon stayed behind, "Sugarcube?" When she got no reply,she said again,"Sugarcube?"
Something Unexpected(Luna's POV) When Applejack called "Sugar-cube" I was lost in memories. It had been centuries since I could have been around someone without me having royal duties, or them being afraid of me. I gave a small sigh, thinking of my friends before I became a princess. We would always prank the other adults when we were filly's and colts, I miss them. I felt a few tears trickle down my face, just like every time I think of them.......No matter, they are with my father now, prancing across the night sky, playing pranks on him...... I felt them hugging me, and I let them. "I'm sorry that I ruined the picnic, I was just thinking of my old friends......we haven't talked for a while." Pinkie gasped. "Well then, we'll just have to go reunite you with them!" I bit my bottom lip, my horn starting to glow a harsh silver, the moon so longer shining down softly on us, no it was harsh, and mean. I took a deep breath, and said, "The reason that we haven' t talked for a while, is because, they-they-they died." I broke off sobbing, my horn giving off a dim glow. "Excuse me, I will see you tomorrow. I just need to think and honor them." and with that, I turned and galloped away, tears streaming down my face, making it hard for me to see. I didn't see a rick up ahead, making me trip, and hit my head on a trunk of a tree, effectively knocking me unconscious. (Nobody's POV) Pinkie stood, not seeing or hearing anything while everypony talked around her until she snapped. "Alright SHUT UP!!!! We have a friend in need, and we need to go comfort her!" They all quieted down, and together they marched in to the night, calling and looking for their lost friend. (Luna's POV) I awoke to a soft bed, and the smell of broth. I was hungry, I hadn't eaten at the picnic. The broth was in a bowl by my head, and I eagerly gulped it down. It tasted of carrots and mushrooms, and was quite good. "I see you're awake." A deep baritone voice said. I know that voice, it was a solider of the Night Guard. I had made it business ti know each of my guard. This pony's name was Ink Spot, and he was a unicorn with a grey coat, black mane and tail with a cutie mark of a piece of parchment with a large black spot on it. "Hello,and you are?" I asked pleasantly, folding my front two hooves in front of me and looking at him straight in the eye. He had deep blue eyes, with a lot of depth in them. "I'm Ink Spot, and I do not know your name." "I am Silver Moon, and thank you for all this." I said gesturing to the bowl, the bed, and me. He gave me a small smile, "Your welcome, and where did you come from?" I answered "Ponyville" He raised a eyebrow. "That`s a long way away, what happened?" I raised my own. "Where are we?" He laughed, and shook his head. "That's not a answer." "Fine, I got upset, tried to run home, hit a tree, and passed out. Now I ask my question again, where are we?" "Fair enough, you're in the outskirts of Unicorn Range." Had I really run that far? I wondered. ' (Spike's POV) "Silver Moon! Silver Moon, where are you?" I called out. I had been looking for hours, with nothing to eat. It was at least one in the afternoon. Silver Moon had left around nine. My tears had long dried, but they were threatening to spill. We had not seen any sign of her anywhere.......what are we going to do, Faust, what am I going to do? I love Silver Moon, where did she go? I ran a bit farther until I collapsed from exhaustion. Where was she?!
