Somepony yelled. Frigid jolted awake, and in the process, falling out of the bed. While he fell he saw a glimpse of his older brother, a tall light blue coated unicorn. His mane was a light brown and was sorta standing on end, but that was usual. he had his classic engineering goggles around his neck. His eyes were hazel colored, something that normally ran in the family. Frigid fell to the floor, landing on his back, "Owww" he groaned while trying to get up. Frigid's Older brother, Arctic Wave,held a hoof out to help Frigid up while laughing, Frigid took his hoof and was pulled back to his standing position. "Thanks Arctic" said Frigid in his friendly tone. "No Problem Little Brother" Arctic said with a smile while running downstairs, "I'm making breakfast today" Frigid remade his bed and cleaned up in the bathroom. He had a pale light blue coat, a dark Brown mane, sea blue eyes, his cutie mark was a block of ice with snowflakes surrounding it. he finished up before heading downstairs, His home wasn't to small, but it wasn't giant either. It looked like your average cabin in the woods, Garden in back, fencing around the house, and a mailbox a few yards away from the front walkway. When Frigid entered the kitchen, Arctic was hard at work making, what Frigid thought would be Pancakes. Frigid went outside and looked for his mother, she was probably in the garden. he went outside to search for his mom. "Mom? Are you out here?" Frigid asked loudly. "In the Garden, Sweetie" Said his Mother. She was a unicorn that had a Light blue coat,  her mane was sea blue, her eyes were hazel. her cutie mark was a few flowers underneath a cloud. She was Pulling out some carrots, potatoes, and other vegetables she grows. Frigid Trotted up to His Mother, "Can i help Mom?" He asked kindly. His Mother Nodded, "Just take the vegetables inside. ill be in soon, sweetie" She said happily while pointing a hoof at a few small boxes filled with vegetables Frigid did as he was told and levitated a few crates and went inside with them, setting them down on the kitchen counter. He went back outside and got the rest, before going back to the kitchen to put them with the others. ***After a few hours of average everyday chores and eating breakfast and Lunch,*** Frigid sat in one of the trees, he came to this tree normally, whenever he got bored, or just wanted some perfect silence, he was drawing a bird that was on a branch that was part of a tree a few feet away. He was good at drawing, or so what Arctic and his mom said, he captured all details, but he never really colored the pictures in. Out of the corner of his eye he saw something, something was watching him. "Hmmm" He got down from his drawing spot and looked around, he searched all over, but then he saw something dart away quickly, "Probably just a Rabbit, or maybe it was a deer" Frigid said with a smile, he loved animals, just loved them, sometimes if he was lucky a rabbit or 2 would come to him when he came to this tree. He closed his drawing book and put it in his saddlebag. he made his way back home. Frigid was half way back home when he noticed a few tracks, not animal tracks, Pony tracks. he followed them back until they stopped at home, "Hmm, probably my own tracts" He went inside the house, "Im Back" He said happily. Nothing greeted him, just complete silence. That is very strange, Arctics never this quiet, especially after he got back home from work, normally he was cranky when he got back. 'Maybe they went to sleep', he thought. He checked the clock on the wall, it was only 3 pm. "Strange, Mom? Brother? Anypony?" He asked hoping for an answer. He searched all over the first floor before he went upstairs, he checked Arctic and His room, Empty. But when he went to check his mom's room door, it was locked, he shrugged this off and knocked. He waited a few minutes, "Must be busy, or maybe she went to sleep early. he went back downstairs, and levitated an apple onto the counter, he took a few bites of out of it and finished it. He waited a while longer, about half an hour. He went back upstairs, he knocked again, "Mom? You ok?" he asked in a worried tone. He ran downstairs, and checked the house over again, he noticed a few things, Their Bits were missing, and few of their things, Frigid ran outside and noticed a ladder they kept outside was leaned against  the house, the top leading straight into a broken window, the Window of mom's room. Frigid Prayed that his mother was ok, he climbed the ladder and when he reached the top, his eyes filled with tears. Laying in the center of the room was his Mother and Arctic. He Quickly climbed into the room, "M-m-mom? B-Big b-brother?" His voice quivered in fear. He reached over to them. He rolled his mother over, She had stab wounds, Alot of Stab wounds. He Picked her up and started to cry, "M-mom" he said while crying, He Set her down. he moved over to his bigger brother, he rolled him over, His big Brother looked like he was beaten to death. He Started to cry harder. He continued to cry for a while, he just crying and crying and crying. He stopped crying, he grabbed a few blankets. He placed the blankets over his mom and his Brother. ".....Its all my fault....." Frigid said, His voice completely filled with Sorrow. He left his home to make his way to the nearest town, Ponyville.
