Peter Parker, after three years as Spider-Man—three years of life-threatening battles, hundreds of casualties, dozens of personal losses, and the horror and guilt of his role in it all—has died. That part he expected. The bit after with the ponies he did not.
Now living in Equestria, Peter struggles to cope with post-traumatic stress and his own unresolved issues as he attempts to begin a new life, with new friends and a new goal. His powers, though, are the same as always, and so Equestria must deal with something new of its own: A superhero. A genuine, bona fide superhero called the Spider.

Pony appearances are loosely based on Earthsong's art. No lion tails, no stars in Twilight's mane, but otherwise more or less that.
