On a particularly sunny day, a man slumbered on his not particularly comfortable futon. This man was named John, but unbeknownst to him, that information was soon to be irrelevant. John lived a relatively simple life filled with Mountain Dew, Doritos, and various computer games. After getting home from work at 5, he would sit down at his computer, load up Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, and cudgel the snot out of his enemies. Some days, he would even invite a friend to join him, but they tended to be left behind as his level of prowess that could only be achieved through merciless no-lifing accelerated him to the top of the scoreboard. For this reason, his gaming sessions were usually solo. John was not upset by his lack of human companionship though. He was in fact completely content with living the rest of his days lurking on forums and playing multilayer games by himself. Sadly the universe had other plans for him...
