The Life of a Purple Earth Pony

This is a story of a young filly named Purple Angel born in Manehatten. A daughter of a mare named Tea Maple and a stallion named Mint Key. The new member of their fresh and new start of a family.

"How much longer do I have to wait til I see my little filly?" Mint Key asked the nurse with joy in his voice. "In a minute sir." a young nurse said. "We're just having small problems but we'll be with you shortly." a suddenly older nurse added. "Good! I don't think I can wait much longer!" Mint Key said loudly as more and more excitement fulls him.

After a few minutes, they let him go to the room to see his new filly. "Shes... Shes so beautiful..." Mint Key smiled as his eyes glowed with happiness. "But I find odd how shes purple with orange hair and me and my wife are different shades of green and my hair is yellow and my wife have dark brown hair." Mint Key said not so excitedly. the happiness leaves his voice and face.

"Well, at least she belongs to you." the nurse standing next him said to him, trying to cheer him up. "Yes... Yes, you're right." Mint Key said in a gloaming tone. "Besides this happens to everypony so don't worry much of it. Right?" the nurse said cheerfully then Mint nodded as a respond. "That's the spirit! Now would you like to see your wife? To you know, see how shes doing?" Mint nodded again. "Okay then follow me, unless you want me to carry you around like big ol' baby?" the nurse chuckled as Mint blushed. "O-of course not!" Mint said, trying to sound tough. "Besides a mare as small as you are, wouldn't be able to lift anything my size and I'm wayyyy stronger than you and handsome too." Mint smiled proudly "Okay! Okay! I get it lets just go!" the nurse blushed then Mint chuckled and nodded as they walked out the room into the where Tea Maple is.

"...You're okay sweetie?" Mint asked as he sat down next to Tea's bed. "A bit sore but I'm okay." Tea said weakly. "Well at least you're still alive and all." Mint said as he gave her a kiss on her cheek. "Our daughter is so beautiful, Ain't she?" Tea asked as she closes her eyes. "Yeah..." Mint said, smiling. "You should get some more rest." Mint said more quietly. Then Tea nodded and gone to sleep, Mint got up and walked out the room. Visiting hours are now over, all visitors must now leave. Mint heard from the speakers on the walls then grabbed his stuff and left out the hospital.
